Kingdom Hearts is not hard to understand, it’s just hard to explain.
The themes are all a bit esoteric, but much of it stems from spiritual Buddhist daoist and Christian concepts. It actually holds a lot of depth, though admittedly they could have presented it in a more palatable and coherent way.

One thing i like about this battle is how accurate in personality it is, this shows the stark differences between the jedi and the key wielders. The jedi are stoic taught at a young age to suppress strong emotions. Showing yoda’s matter of fact nature in combat supports this. The key wielders on the other hand don’t suppress strong feelings, they embrace it. Hence mickeys jovial deminor.
and the fact that keyblade wielders don't hate the darkness they just find it "scary" and they can be there selfs long as they don't go to far on what they do around the universe. but thank god the jedi are changing to the better. because they learned the hard way they can't just judge anyone that has emotions. yoda has made that mistake many times and not once in his 500 year life ever cross his mind "maybe emotions can be controlled rather just suppress it." emotions is not something we can't just throw away easily. it well always come out no matter how much you hold them in. star trek has shown that example time and time again.

I love Yoda just deciding to mess with Mickey as a ghost instead of anything else probably more productive, quite funny.

I honestly love how even though it was a fight to the death, neither Yoda nor Mickey seemed too mean-spirited about the whole thing. They felt like they respected each other.

This battle is very similar to Ganondorf vs Dracula in that it's ultimately a question of who's power source is stronger: the force or kingdom hears? Considering kingdom hearts has allowed keyblade masters to time travel, teleport across the multiverse, and even destroy and recreate the universe, I think it's fair to so say that kingdom hearts is more powerful than the force by a significant amount.
Growing up and being an adult is realizing that there is no beating _The Mouse._
We probably should've thought back to Sora v Pit for this.

Huh, this was a relatively wholesome fight. No property damage, not overly gory, no insults, no starting over petty squabbles, the fighters complimented each other throughout the fight, the loser doesn't die pathetically and the loser is gets a good laugh after. I wish we had more battles like this.

Very cool how despite the fact that they knew that they were fighting to death, Yoda and Mickey Mouse were still very respectful to each other. Mickey is a true sweetheart deep inside. This battle is actually sort of wholesome. I can’t help but believe that some fans easily forget that Mickey Mouse was originally meant to be a classic sweet friendly character and an icon to young viewers. With some of the more recent things that Disney has done over the 2010s Mickey Mouse and Disney get more than a little rough attention these days a. However Death Battle seems to fully embrace the classic character of Mickey Mouse and portrays him as a wonderful friend even to his opponents! Truly one of my favorite episodes!

Not many people know this but this is exactly how Disney took the Star Wars franchise
Sorry to disagree, but it's really not on Disney. Is the writing team that Kathleen Kennedy hired. She's a great producer, but she's not so great at hiring cohesive teams with a singular vision. If it was all Disney's fault, the Mandalorian wouldn't be good either. But that show works well because of Dave Filoni and the team that Jon Favreau put together.

Yeah, In a serious setting as soon as Yoda realized he’d lose, Mickey would ease off and Yoda wouldn’t push far enough to kill himself.
You know, now come to think of it, the Jedi and the Keyblade wielders do share things in common. First, they both fight, using weapons made out of light. They both also travel to different worlds/planets. They both have masters. But, most importantly, they both can tell the difference between light and dark. So to have a Star Wars world in the Kingdom Hearts franchise would be such a good idea.

This has got to be the most heartwarming battles to the death ever. It's appropriate the song is called "Hearts of Light." Even among the various hero matchups on this show, I don't think there's ever been a case of two more kind and benign figures fighting.

@@ThePa1riot Even if you know nothing about them, you should watch that fight. The two fight not over some misunderstanding, but just to have a good sparring match, and it starts by Might Guy challenging All Might to an arm wrestling contest. The two of them are enjoying every second and compliment each other all the time.

I will say that I really REALLY love this Death Battle and I whole heartedly agree with its ending :3
I will point out though that Zeus moving all those stars to create the constellation of Sora, Goofy and Donald is kinda hard to figure out.
While I do not doubt Zeus's power and in all likelihood Zeus DID indeed move that many stars, one has to wonder if indeed he moved that many stars if he inadvertently caused untold catastrophe in the process or if the movement of those stars was merely an illusion created by him. THAT SAID, knowing Zeus, he probably wouldn't have gone the illusory route, since it is freaken Zeus, as a God he probably has the power to move said stars without causing any harm.
After the recent kh4 trailer, this could become reality. They might not fight though.
Only Mickey can say "Oh boy!" while committing murder and not sound like a psychopath. Also why was the killing blow not throwing money at Yoda
