For a lot of people 100mbps is good enough. I won’t complaint about it. The question is if this is truly unlimited or there is a soft/hard data cap. Also, what is the performance in online gaming and work from home? 🤔🤔🤔
Be nice to have cause my current I'm paying $78 a month for home internet with US cellular home internet pretty expensive I be so happy cut my bill in half but my local Walmart don't sell tracfones anymore not even straight Talk
How did you activate the ‘regular’ Verizon Home Internet box? …. I was wondering if I can use a friends address different than the billing ? …. Any thoughts (I know it’s easy on Straight Talk but Verizon might get invasive with questions (?) )
Just give them the service adress and keep the billing adress the same
almost shoulda had 1 in the front of the car and the other at the back of the car instead of next to eachother blocking the antennas on the inner sides of the boxes but otherwise awesome test as expected
What is hiding the videos? I search where is straight talk home internet available…pretty simple search.
My Verizon box puts out 433 Mbps download, 20Mbps upload. This is on a 4G LTE because I have no 5G in my area, but drive 4.7 miles away my Samsung picks up 5G. Weird.
I was able to get it using another address and activate it. Make sure to activate it before u turn it on otherwise takes a while to connect. I get max 100 down and 13 up. In peak times I get 20 - 60 down.
What area did you use?
Update consistently getting 20 Mbps down or lower most of the time...
Since both modems are connected to the same Verizon towers, I'm wondering if Verizon has Straight Talk's bandwidth at a lower priority than its own 5G home internet service.
Yes it does
Awesome video bruh 😎
Thank you bro
Would one of these work mobile streaming like in your car and pump out a decent upload speed, I would love to see a test streaming thru it while you drive at a high upload bitrate for clarity like 1080p 10,000 upload speed..
Yea it works driving and upload is 10mbps I’ve seen so far. I can but I can’t stream movies and stuff I’ll have to just stream stuff off my channel that I have in 1080p and 4K for you
What I meant was use it as a mobile hotspot for your phone if it would give more bandwidth for a prism livestream driving thing like I've seen you do before.. just wondering if it would work better at pushing out the livestream data 🤔
would love to see STRAIGHTTALK vs TMOBILE considering they are both similar deals
I tried the t-mobile 5g internet and it was impossible to play games online
@@richb1 u just are in a bad area stop complaining
Irs capped
It seems like I’ll be doing more testing
@@CarlosSTech find out anything on the data cap?
@@nathanialhyatt8880 no data cap but network management hits hard after 400gb used even harder than 100/10
No one wants to see an intro that offers nothing for 13 seconds
man i dont no bout this one. rite now i no frontier has a deal for 500Mbps $50. but the thing about the straight talk is its mobile lol. u cant take it werever u want
Giving it to us straight no cap thanks bro we love u
Thank you and thank you for always watching and showing love and support
My current provider US cellular home internet has 300gb data cap I hate it I spend $80 on it I so cut my bill in half I hope Verizon hurry up get service in my area I get there phone service which is odd
Verizon Home internet is great but the 100 sound's great. Verizon is still rocking 4 G LTE hear in Michigan. I am one mile from the site but that Verizon ultra wideband when I googled it if I did it correctly since it can reach up to just under one mile mark. If this is true and Verizon dose it on all sites even in the county that would be amazing. If they can improve on this technology even more to cover more people that would be great for home user's to replace Comcast cable. But the issue Verizon has hear in Pittsford Michigan 49271 is that the sites are to far spread out and they will never be able to have a dense AWB Network hear. The only places you see it is in big city's around MI. I feel like if you all pay that 90/100 for unlimited data and have the home internet over 4 G LTE/5G we should all get the same Network even if some of us may be father away from the site at least offer that same experience on all sites.
I suggest whoever gets this box get a VPN so you won’t get throttle down when you try to watch high-quality movies
So your saying that straight talk is capped at 100 download?
That’s what it’s looking like so far I’m gonna go to a rural tower site with n77 that’s has no traffic to see if the tower has no traffic and see if speeds are faster for the rural America people
Thank you for watching and showing love and support
what an stupid question it clearly says up to 100
does the straight talk router have the same sku number as the verizon? the verizon box that's sku stars with arc has the ability to have external antennas connected, the sku that starts with ark does not.
It doesn’t show the SKU on the box or under it but FCC Equiotment ID is RACCCI55AX so you can look up FCC filing and find out
@@CarlosSTech that's a huge help! thank you!
Hey folks anyone here know if the straight talk box or for that matter the Verizon box can be powered by 12 volt DC lot of off-grid folks using solar and being able to use 12 volt saves the extra waste associated with the inverter up converting that DC power to AC 120 volts thanks a lot!
I so get it once it's available where I live 😢 my local Walmart quit selling straight Talk phones few days ago which sucks I'm paying way to much for my home internet US cellular 300gb data cap
Nice
Thank you @Joshua H
appreciate your work n time brotha
This might be a dumb question, but can you have both home internets at one address?
Yea you can
Considering getting the straight talk internet I live alone in my own house and it's a small house. Does the straight talk home internet work good I need honest answers.
Yea it does work good just like my Verizon native one
@@CarlosSTech I can only get the 4g lte in my area. Is that still worth it? Have you encountered any problems with it I live in TN
It can get lte too it says 5G or lte data . If you have expensive internet or running on sat internet this is worth it as long as Verizon coverage good in your area
do they sell this at walmart in store?
Yea they do
@@CarlosSTech lol i seen the vid u made after i asked.....
