This is an Intermediate Pilates class where you’ll flow from one exercise to the next for an effective total body workout.
You’ll work on Pilates arm exercises with weights, standing leg exercises to strengthen the lower body and exercises to work on balance.
You won't even need your Pilates mat for this class. Just grab a set if light weights for this Pilates routine.

Hi Beth! It's always so humbling how heavy those light weights can feel during a pilates workout! I am used to lifting heavy and my arms were still on fire! Great class!

That was not easy. I bought baby weights for classes and at one point I had to put them aside as the arm work was too hard for me. Also tricky was to press the weight in the back of the knee and bend forward on 1 leg. Great class as always. Thank you Beth.

I have difficulty to get myself out of the coach to exercise. Nothing physical but I’m always finding excuses… here it’s 20 minutes (not too much thus not scary) and I really feel it (I ) did something good to my body. I’m sure I will feel it in my arms tomorrow 😜 even if I only used 1,5kg dumbbells 💪

Thank you for your UA-cam hannel. I’ll try to do a more restorative workout tomorrow as I saw that if I’m sore, I tend to avoid exercising. Thus I’m thinking about alternating strength focused sessions with balance / stretching/ restorative sessions.
Mixing it up is a great way to stay motivated and not burn out. I hope you can move with another class soon.

This was amazing..loved How it flowed and I really need balancing exercises. My arms also got a good workout

I truly underestimated this routine at first glance, the reality is that I'm still shaking, even though I used 2 pound weights! I love working out with weights and will definetely add this one to my regular routines! What is the largest weight you recommend for this type of routines?
I've tried it with 5 and that was a challenge with extra pauses included.

I had a complete knee replacement last July. How many of these exercises would be beneficial for my situation? Do you have some workouts that could be for more of a rehabilitative/specialized situation?!
It's beyond my scope of practice to offer personal advise for rehabilitation on UA-cam. You can always give the class a go and see how it goes. The class from last week also works to strengthen the abs and legs.
