Valkyrie Drive is a step up from Sengura Kagura in every way. Also, not edgy at all. Just go watch the anime... Way more "kid" friendly the game 😅 this is based on an anime that is closer to hentai than to anime.
Edit: you also have a paid DLC to have the anime characters in the game :)
Oh yeah I completely forgot about that, the characters were pretty cool too in my book!
Yeah this game is pretty cool.. It was one of the last games I bought for my Vita back in 2018 before I sold it all like a complete idiot..
Now I got 2 more(although neither is as Mint as my original slim) and this game is unfortunately pricey!

I play this game on the pstv. Mainly because there is an enhanced music download that I think was 1GB in size and I have a 5 or 7 point surround system so seemed worth it. No I can't pronounce the last part of the name.

I just finished this game couple of months ago. enjoyed it a lot. I actually played in reverse. I finished this first before I played Senran Kagura.

@@PSVitaat2am I prefer Valkyrie Drive because it has smoother gameplay and a better story. Though I've only finished the Gessen route of Estival versus but I will be going back to it soon once I finish Dead or School on Switch.

We all play such games in public, although if i had to say it here i was playing the more Cultured Version Of Seven Sins on Mobile at a red robin and had the unfortunate incident where a group of i have to say like maybe 20+ kids showed up and took all the tables around me.
Boy, I could imagine how that had to have turned out! 🤣

i Do know about this series,it was supposed to become like a new multi media series,cause when this game came out,so did an anime that had different that ,my gosh was it nothing away from becoming straight up hentai,sadly,i actually have heard that the game is not that great,that is buggy and prety repetitive,i still want to give a try,but the comments i heard about it,even from fans of ecchi games do kinda put it a little low on my vita games list
Really? I never ran into any bugs, I guess I could see their point about it being repetitive since it is a brawler at the end of the day. And you do end up fighting a lot of the same characters because of the smaller cast.
Interesting enough, this game is part 2 of a 3-part multimedia franchise, with part 1 being the anime series Valkyrie Drive Mermaid and part 3 being the Japan-only defunct mobile social game Valkyrie Drive Siren.
The latter even got a manga adaptation called Valkyrie Drive: Siren-Breakout, though how much it covers the game's story is another question seeing the game was shutdown in 2016, just a year after it came out.
Oh interesting! I was aware of the anime but I didn't know there was a third game that came out as a mobile title. Interesting! 😱

Honestly I think senran kagura bon appetit is an awesome, quick rhythm game. Quite inappropriate too lol. I love the vita games where I can pick up, play for 10 mins and be satisfied. Not in that kinda way 😂

Hahaha! To be honest the game doesn't really use much of the touch functionality, though I will admit I've never actually tried it so maybe it does just for the heck of it. Wouldn't surprise me in a game like this. 🤣

For me personally I like the 1000 model the best, I know it has its downsides but I really do prefer that more vibrant screen and heavier build.

The funny part about Valkyrie Drive Bhikkuni is that it's actually pretty tame compared to the anime. But yes, it's a genuinely good game. The only downside is that all the girls are the same body type.
Yeah I've been noticing that more and more with these kind of games as of late. I really do wish they would change things up a bit when it came to the body sizes.

I have this game .don't be fooled. This has more stop motion bland animation text scenes than actual gameplay.all you will be doing for a good 60% of this game is reading text and watching the girls' same 3d model boobs move while they talk in Japanese and you read the 30 page movie script long text loops.its more visual novel than action game and that's a very bad thing.
