Kane has won Hart, Ross, Lindsay, Smythe, Calder and 3 Cups. Only 2 players in NHL have ever done that. And he's the only one of those 2 to also be named NHL Top 100. He's the only player in NHL history to have OT goals to win the 2nd round, conference final, and Cup final. He's got the longest point streak of the last 30 years and 2 of the 7 20+ game streaks of the last 30 years. He led his prime decade in points and is currently 18th in NHL history in adjusted points.
Kane of all American born players is currently 2nd in points (90 behind Modano in 269 fewer games), 2nd in assists (tied w Modano, 81 behind Housley in 265 fewer games), 6th in goals (90 behind Modano; 29 shy of 500), but SECOND in even strength goals, trailing only Modano, by 30. And already first all time among all Americans in even strength assists (ahead of Modano by 62) and even strength points (ahead of Modano by 32). You see, Pat Kane isn't a power play merchant. He's a 5v5 player.

Wow solid choice. 500 goals and over a PPG. Also still blows me away he’s from Hell’s Kitchen Manhattan, and managed to become a pro hockey player. Nowadays with the over obsession with youth hockey, kids train and travel like professionals literally by age 7- meaning of a great athlete isn’t in the exactly perfect situation, he won’t come close to making pros.

Comparable players to JR that are in the hall of fame with no cup: Iginla, Sedin twins, Alfredsson, Sundin, Oats, Perreault, Lafontaine, Kariya, Hawerchuck, Sittler, Stastny. Roenick was just as good as all of these players and if you compare stats and all the other things besides winning the cup he is in the same caliber as them and deserves to be in the Hall
