- Last night I was at the Blackhawks Chris Chelios night for the banner ceremony and Patrick Kane return home unfortunately Kaner had the best of the Blackhawks beating us in OT.

I want to make it clear i was happy for Kane. I still support him even if hes no longer a Hawks. Person behind me was screeming the NO GOAL

@@SBRS47 She was watching it on the big screen though. It went off the inside top of the net (or something like that); she must have thought it went off the crossbar.
The crazy part is her thinking that she's the only one in the entire arena who caught that.
She wasn't commenting on whether the puck went in the net. She thought the 2 line pass rule was still in effect where the player receiving the pass had to receive the puck before crossing center ice.
Hollywood could not have written it any better it was one hell of a game !!!

there is a replay on one of the broadcasts showing it from overhead, the puck literally hit the back of the net and came back out bc he shot it so hard.

for Hawks fans whining about Jones, at no point was Bedard truly 'wide open' for Jones. if Jones were KANE, as far as vision and passing, you could say Bedard was wide open. but it's Seth Jones, there were two Wings sticks/defenders between at first, then for the split second there was still one between. he's not some special passer, the shot is the better play for him there.

When I saw Bedard not change after passing to Jones I knew we were in trouble. This vantage point makes it look even more aggregious. Storybook ending, but it would have been better to make Pat Foley say "Hawks Win".
