Just this week I bought a George Foreman, I forgot how good they are for toasted sandwiches. Like everyone I had one donkeys years ago. Best £29 I’ve spent in ages. This washable one does look cool as they’re a beast to clean. Cheers as always.

I've been seeing these at the Goodwills/Re-Sale shops for 7.99 to 9.99. I always pass them up for the same reasons you stated. Great Video guys....

I have the submersible and it does have an on & off switch and it cost $59.99 on Amazon.
The switch also allows you to turn the heat down from the 400% Max.
Mine also has the darker teflon grills and not the light gray ones.
I live in the U.S.A. so they just may be different up in Canada.

Strange. I got almost the same submersible George Foreman grill for 59.99 at Target, and mine has the temperature control.
That seems like a way more reasonable price then what we paid ! Marc
@@TheAverageKitchen Yeah, the 5-serving version has a temp control with an "off" setting. It doesn't show actual temps on the dial, it just ranges from "Off" to "Max". And yeah, approximately 60 USD.
I wish you would have cooked bacon for maybe a BLT. Looks perfect for it.. Thanks for the video.

Fair analysis but a model number would have been useful! And also more video footage of how the grill is assembled, how the parts come off etc would have been good!

I had a George Foreman Grill for years, and then I dropped it on the floor one day (while trying to clean it next to the sink), and that was the end of it. I miss it so much!! The one I had was big enough to cook four burgers. It was the PERFECT size! I also liked that it had the temperature control. I recently purchased a new one, but ended up returning it because it was too small. The picture on the box shows 5 chicken breasts on the grill. What a joke!! The grill was only big enough to cook, maybe, 3 small breasts, but certainly not 5!!! Next time I will pay closer attention to the measurements. I don't know why they make the grills so small now, and not many have the temperature control feature. It's a shame because it's such a good grill. I wish I could find something to replace it that is just as good. I'll just keep hoping and wishing!! Thanks for the review. : )

I just bought it for $49.99 US. I like that I can put it all in the dishwasher. Wish I had watched your review before I bought it. The no temp control or off on bothers me.

Why do you need to flip it? I thought the whole point of these panini maker like grills was that you don't need to flip. Aren't both plates heated?
They're both heated but not always equally. - J
Got it for $60 CAD ($44 USD). It's laughable that it's marketed as "family size", but it's great for 1 person who just wants to grill 2 frozen supermarket hamburger patties or fish filets.
