Yes thank you. I know. So since I didn't say SPONSORED then I probably paid $70 for it off of QVC and then donating to a friend when I was done with it. That's probably what happened.
Well if it’s not sponsored then I’m happy, and that’s actually a really good price
yes. I highly recommend this. it was a big surprise
THIS WAS ONLY $70?!! heck of a deal Jack!!
Well I think I like the Phillips grill better.
I bought an older gray model at a garage sale for $10. Works great. When I was working at a yard building medical modulars, a crew of 6 of us would cook lunch every day on it. Preheat it 15 min before lunch. Steaks, chicken, bratwurst, and baked beans in an 8x8 baking pan. With a little creativity we were even making breakfast burritos on it. I'll tell ya, it beat going out for lunch every day.
Bought mine for $61.87 after taxes from Target! Perfect for grilling indoors during quarantine.
Online?
Do you have temperature guauge on the lid?
Lmao you got ripped off. You can buy a basic new one from Walmart for around 2
$20. Heck. I bought a used one with the bun warmer from goodwill for $14. Oh well. Either way both of our grills will pay for itself
Does it give off that charcoal taste?
Rico Lynch hell no it doesn’t. It’s nothing more than a glorified frying pan.
Onions act as natural cleaning agent on a grill or skillet etc.. That's how I clean mine and adds some flavor. Awesome video jack! Have a good day everyone!
Thanks for the review, Jack. Was on the fence about this, but will definitely get one for this grilling season.
I've had one of these for a couple of years and it's great for what it is. It'll never replace my Weber kettle but when I'm feeling lazy or it's -15 outside it certainly gets the job done.
This was really helpful, I've been thinking about getting one of these but had some hesitations and I think you cleared them up for me! Everything you cooked looked awesome and it's the perfect size for an apartment or townhome. Thank you!
I just picked up one of these the other day and I like it already. This is a great video!
You really put it to the test. I love my regular George Forman grill and this grill seems awesome too.
Had mine over 2 years now non stick. Coating still good on it only problem I have had is on plug all. The low to high has worn off but works just can't tell. Exactly were it is on lol I use this when raining and as extra. Grill on weekends in summer
I have one of these for 5 years, A great grill EZ clean up, Still works great
I enjoy your videos very much. I've made your taco chip enchiladas that you did a couple years ago, so many times! This barbecue looks awesome thanks for doing the review.
Love your honesty......thank you Mr.Jack
I have had mine for two years. I use it indoors and outdoors and I love it. Best part is the cleaning is super easy
Hi would you get that smoke flavor like a outdoor grill? Just wondering
These are the craziest comments, SMH. Just wanted to say thank you for taking time to show and review this product. It has helped me make a decision on which indoor grill to get for the winters.
People in the comments are total rude Bois.
I love the indoor/outdoor grill.....Had mines for 8 years
I live in an apartment complex that doesn't allow charcoal grills, just propane ones and I am scared of those lol! So this would be perfect for me.
making me think of time a storm picked up our propane grill and sent it flying over 15ft from deck of our house..... my dad decided ima try and use it..... well the gas leaked everywhere LOL
Very nice review, Jack. I’d say that’s better than what I expected at the start of the video. Those dogs with that charred outside looked fabulous!
Just recently bought the 70$ one. It works most similar to a grill in a restaurant. But I'm far from disappointed. I cleans up great, no need for any nonstick spray at all. It cooks large chunks of meat well ( with some practice ), I have cooked brisket on it . It loves beef.
I've owned mine now for 3 years. I love it. Great for meat, poultry, shrimp and all sorts of vegetables. I've even grilled pineapple slices on it.
I've had mine for over 10 years and it still works perfect.
I've had mine for 2 years! I live in New England so I get to grill in the winter with this thing on my porce when there is 18 inches of snow! Thank you for sharing your video!
What do you grill and does it seem easy for you to clean afterwards?
@@UnworthySubject I grill everything from ribeye steak to sausages, anything that can be grilled and yes its super easy to clean if i may give my opinion.
@@mikej3584 Thank you for your quick response.
@@UnworthySubject Certainly!
Great Videos all the time!! You are a blessed person Jack!! Aloha from Hawaii
thanks for sharing i was just looking at this at walmart ...made up my decision so im going back for it
Just got mine today thank you for the video helpful information 😊
Just bought the long red one for $70 at Walmart.. I have a couple of hamburgers and sausage so far it's working really well
Chuck roast has soo much connective tissue its best cooked low and slow to about 190f kinda like a brisket to break down the connective tissue.
"Lets look into the hotdog" 🤣 exactly what are we looking for???
Lets not. HAHA
Good information about the grill. Love your videos.😊
I just pucked one up for free and i cant wait to use it today! I like the idea of using this instead of the charcoal and the propane and it looks like it gives the same outcome! Thanks for sharing!
I have the original white George Foreman grill and it work still works great also I make all kind of sandwiches and I have other types he makes fabulous types George is great I knew it would work and how easy it is to clean
I love, love, love my George Foreman indoor/outdoor grill! ❤️❤️❤️
is there that smoking flavor in the meat ?
My sister has one in the garage for years... today we will be using it... hope it works well... it will be a game changer
Thanks for this review. I might have to get this now.
I liked mine and used it in the screened patio. The grease catcher was flimsy and occasioned to dump grease on the floor. Cleanup was not "just a paper towel". Taking it apart for a thorough cleaning was a challenge that many, per Walmart reviews, we incapable of doing. Bottom line, get a stove top pan and save a bunch of money and aggravation.
Well my experience was almost identical to CWJ's, including the easy cleanup with just paper towels. The average number of towels I use for each cleanup is about 4 1/2 towels, since we use the select-a-size towels. I got use to cleaning these George Foreman grills with just paper towels while they were still slightly warm and continued doing it with the indoor/outdoor. Easy setup, easy cooking, easy cleanup - easy peasy!!
EPIC DUDE THXXXXXXXXX!!!!!!! I like park grilling and wanted to get something portable to lug around in my trunk.... Great video!!! Seeing you assemble it would have been nice even though I am sure it's super easy...
Right on!
Thanks for your grill reviews!!
Love the review! BBQ’s scare me with the whole propane explosions thing. So I’d totally go 4 this. Thanks jack!!!
Hi Jack i purchased this grill a year ago but used it for the first time Mothers day outside this year and it cooked the hot dogs and chicken perfect i will be using it all the time...tonight cooking pork chops inside cant wait to see how they turn out awesome review u gave
Sweet, Thanks Jack... I bought one cause you...
I got this George Foreman Grill a few years ago because it is electric and I did not want to use propane... However, mine has been in the box, not even unpacked for the past 7 or 8 years... I just never got around to using it, but now, with this video I think it is time for me to get it out of the Guestroom closet and set it up... I did not even realize when I bought it that I could use it indoors... it is freezing outside here in Canada....
me too. about seven years now. maybe I should unbox it.
?How was it ...you can send it to me if you dont like it
@@elizabethgreen5014 Hello... I tried it one time but ruined my steak... so... I never used it again... It's far too big to send anywhere... sorry...
Wow i need to buy this grill Jack!!! Thank you Sir!!!😉
I love mine been having mine for about 3 years or so
Nice.....I'm planing on getting getting my New Toy, my cool Gadget My one an only Gorgeformen indoor an outdoor grill great video helpful for planning with family an friends thanks for the advise.
I saw that new Phillips smokeless indoor grill on tv last nite that looks pretty nice
This made me so hungry especially the onions and I don't even like them. 😊 I got this grill from an Ex-Co-worker. I haven't tried it yet. I have to ask her where the cover is. 🙂 Thanks for the info.
I just got one of these today from my local Habitat for Humanity for only $25!!!!
All it needed was a quick cleaning and we were good to go.
Nice!!
Thanks for reviewing this. Now I know it's definitely worth.it! 😎
Hey Jack!! I love your reviews. This would be even better if the grill plates were removable for easier cleanup.
i would love to have one of those!
chuck is one of the best, if not the best, cuts of meat... for pot roast and other slow and low recipes. also great ground up and made into burgers.
I just bought one I love it. Didn't get a cover with mine.
Everyone says the non-stick surface flakes off in short order.
That chuck roast looks delicious, though.
I am going to buy one. : ). You did an outstanding review.
@Christopher Scafidi Thank you. Can you recommend a non-stick spray?
@Christopher Scafidi Gotcha!! Will do thank you. : )
My husband came home on Black Friday with this because I said we needed a grill. He was so proud of himself, but I just wanted to actually grill ribs ):
Nice one! You've made me really hungry and I'm running to Home Depot to get one LOL!
I have one that looks almost identical, only mine is Tefal/T-Fal... ☺️
You could always put the box on its side and slide out the contents. Kinda makes more sense. Love the channel though. 👍🏼
It's perfect for apartment. You get to grill outside. I love it
Im definitely getting this. 👌
Enjoyed the video so much thx 🙏
Packaging, stand, and lid has been improved since! Still wanna see someone use it. 🥂
Looks good Jack! Great show! 😀🥩🥩🥩🍽🍽.
Everett,Washington.
I really liked the grill, so much that I bought 2 but; the coating comes off after awhile. and yes I clean it the right way.
Not with abbrasive cleaning products like you have been
Just got one of these given to me by my grandparents.
What is the max temp on the grill? To get that sear; it would have to be at least 400 degrees, right-
I have one and it awesome
looks good jack nice job
Jack I need help man. Never grilled a chuck roast before and want to give it a shot after seeing how good your turned out on here. Any recipes or steps or guidance to grilling a chuck roast?? Help me out man!
The cooking spray will slowly degrade the non stick coating every time you use it. It's best to avoid using non stick stray on non stick items. Use a little oil instead.
I bought one of those add your own oil pump sprayers. I think mine is the Misto brand. They are great.
I believe it's more of the amount of over sprayer that's being put on the surface. It's putting a lot of little drops everywhere especially where food isn't cooking. The over spray will get extremely hot and burn into the coating causing it to mess up over time. Nonstick surfaces are sensitive to high heat.
the spray I use is canola oil. Not pam so it should be good
i picked up a 5 serving GF indoor grill a couple years ago at ALDIs for $20, it cooks both sides at once.
I'm hoping to get one of those 😁
Best way to clean it would be to spray it with water/lemon juice or water/vinegar combined while it's still hot. Yes heavy duty paper towels are awesome to use.
I got one today for $10 from Facebook Marketplace. Every year we stay in a cabin with a tiny kitchenette and it's a small town with few eating places. This should help a lot, if I can pack it in the car.
Thank you for review.
I have had this product for 4 yrs.. I won`t give it a 10 but it is a durable unit that does what it says. You don`t get the smoky charcoal taste but it cooks quite well. I would say try it and decide for yourself. You won`t hate it. Not too bad to clean after many uses........
It makes a nice cooking surface with no pans and you get grill marks. It`s called a grill. If want smoke get charcoal.
Good review
I love this product, two cons-hard to clean it in the sink and the lid can make a mess with it’s dripping from steam when you take it off.
Irishqweenb can the steam or smoke get kind of heavy? Do you have to use it under the oven vent?
Man that looked so good. Hey man you know you gotta cook dogs when grilling steak man goes hand in hand lol love it
I didn’t have the problem with everything falling out of the box. I like the grill it works great
Love mine
Just got mine on amazon thanks
I JUST BUY MY TODAY ☺LOVE IT ❤
Great video
I looked into this a year or 2 ago and there was a lot of reviews saying that it is not like grilling on the BBQ and its more like those cast iron plates. Could you review it after a year of use to see if the non-stick still remains?
Please do a review on Philips Infrared Electric Smoke-less grill. Thanks Jack.
You should review the Philips smoke-less indoor grill
I laughed so hard when he was talking about mounting the handle lol, it's 2 bolts ya goof?
I shook my head also. Snapping those legs in must have been hell. LOL
Could you put the exact way you did this starting at the number you started with and if you ended with the same number? I saw you had no lid for ten mins and then closed to the lid. Are you flipping over after you close lid?
this is fantastic!
How hot does this grill get?. i hat the "high, medium, low settings.
That looks good
Been wanting to get one of those - places that I have lived at do not want an outdoor FIRE grill.
It sure would be handy to know what temp the surface reaches.
Some nonstick tell you not to put spray on the surface. It messes up the nonstick surface because it makes it sticky!
Awesome. 👍
You know, I still used my grill when it was cold and raining outside..
Hi Jack been watching some of your old stuff. Do you still make your source for sale? If yes can I buy some from AUSTRALIA
Mine didn’t come with a cover but it was pictured on the instructions 😩
Do you think it will make good ribs?
