Awesome car, can’t fault it. One other advantage of the raised wagon vs suv is that you can put bicycles on the roof with ease, with suvs it is much more of a hassle due to height. Highly recommend this awesome car which excels on and off road 💎
The Polestar Optimization Tune makes the transmission shift smoother and adds 7 hp and 37 lb. ft. of torque. Completely worthwhile, but a $2000 option.
I currently have a 2021 Volvo V60 Cross Country, and I’m negotiating with a GTA dealer to get me into a demo 2024 that is similar to your test car, minus the 20 inch wheels, for my pull-ahead! You can really negotiate on these cars!
I love the look of these and I've rented one from Avis. Sadly, their quality is not like Volvo used to be and repairs are on par with top end Mercedes-Benz. Someone I work with has a top of the line Volvo XC90 and one of the front park censors went out and Volvo wanted $1600 for parts and labour which is insane. I'd rather get the new E-class wagon which will be more durable and better engine. Yes, it will be more expensive but its worth it.
Good question! The Crown Signia is a really solid ride, sorta like a wagon/crossover also. If you aren't worried about the brand/badge then the Toyota is the way to go, not to mention the reliability will be better, as Volvo has had it's share of problems over the years. The Crown Signia is also extremely fuel efficient with the hybrid. I've enjoyed my time driving that vehicle, as I spent some time with it this summer driving across Canada.
Bullshit review....didn't tell you that start-stop system that shuts off the motor at stop light can't be disconnected like 99% of others cars..a deal killer.
Wagons need to make a comeback in NA
They definitely do! Interesting to see the new M5 being offered as a wagon here.

Great point!
Wagons for life
Absolutely!

It's definitely true that the quality isn't the greatest, we had a string of Volvo press cars that all had issues one after another.
@@PRNTestDrive That had to be embarrassing for Volvo?

Great video.....I know the Volvo V60 is considered a lux. vehicle, but would you pick this over the Crown Signia ?

Sold me with "Wagon is better than SUV"
Hard not to!
What;s the difference between cross country and wagon?
The cross country is essentially a wagon with extra ground clearance, and plastic cladding around the bottom of the body panels.
It also has 4 wheel drive.
Not T8? Thank you, Volvo! But I will pass.
Weirdly they don't seem to offer it here, considering they're pushing for electrification. Might be something added down the road.

All the new mild-hybrids we've driven are like this, there's no way to defeat the auto stop/start system in them.
