Awesome day! I’ve been rewatching the video. I couldn’t help but laugh when you had that little pompano… the way it was vibrating made it look like you had a shake weight in your hands and giving it hell! LOL
Pompano for sure. Just got back from Fort Morgan on the gulf. Caught my limit of those every day for 7 days straight. Fantastic to cook whole after gutting, just cross score and grill it up with your favorite seasoning. (Mine is Chef Paul’s seafood magic)
You need to hit that spot again on your way back. There are much bigger redfish on that jetty. If you think a 30” red fights hard, a 40+” red is going to blow your mind! Love the channel!!
Rich, love your Rod discipline and landing techniques. I see so many kayakers let the fish flop around in the bottom of their boat doing unnecessary harm to the fish.
Hi Rich, glad you're making your way up north. Great videos this winter, looking forward to your future videos from Montauk. Fishing is getting better here on Nantucket, looking forward to a great season. Safe travels and thanks again for your excellent work! Brian Macort.
Hi Rich, I have been a fan for a couple of years now. I Live in Sag Harbor, NY and was wondering if your coming back up here any time soon or if you have permanently moved to Florida. The Striper bite has been insane up here
Awesome video Rich per usual! Do you have any content where you go into detail of the all features and mods of your kayak? As a newer kayak fisherman, I would love to see how your vessel works
You get me pumped To fish every time I watch your videos I actually get the same serotonin levels when I watch your videos as I do when I catch an actual fish
Great video Rich! Been meaning to get out to the jetties this summer on my kayak and now this has me excited for the first trip out there. Great day of fishing!
Curious: most of the time I see you put in and the waves are mild. Is that because of the Jetties?? Here in the west cost the waves would be tough to put in... So I read up on the difference, 3 main factors 1. East coast has prevailing winds that blow against the incoming waves. 2. East coast has wider continental shelf causing the Particles to slow down more. 3 The Atlantic has a smaller expanse for the wind to build up. "Fetch" so not as strong prevailing winds there.. So I answered mine own question. ... LOL
Thank you for another great video big fan of your channel BTW that was a Pompano they have to be 11 inches to the fork. You’re allowed to keep six per person. Keep the great videos coming. Thank you.
Awesome outing. I put your inshore rod through its paces here in MN fishing for pike. It casts 3/8 oz chatterbaits right into another zip code. You can really load it up! I was gonna bring that rod to our place in Savannah but I might just get another one. Oh and yes, that was a pompano.
hey many how many more subs/views did you get from your winter down here in Florida compared to up north? i am interested in what will grow the channel for you more
This is literally my 2nd video of yours that I’ve watched and you’re in my back yard. 😅 Sucks we couldn’t have ran into each other when you were in town, but hey maybe next time who knows?

Rich, love your Rod discipline and landing techniques. I see so many kayakers let the fish flop around in the bottom of their boat doing unnecessary harm to the fish.

It’s been great going along with you on your journey fishing the east coast of America. Off shore and inshore.
Hi Rich, I have been a fan for a couple of years now. I Live in Sag Harbor, NY and was wondering if your coming back up here any time soon or if you have permanently moved to Florida. The Striper bite has been insane up here
Oh word? I’m opening up my house over Memorial Day and hoping to get on the water. Hopefully the bites still hot
Lmfao I been skunked like 10 times in a row going for striper in NYC 😅😅

Yo, some BEAST Reds. Great day in the Palmetto state.
Awesome video man! 🔥 sick content 🎣
Pompano for sure, delicious eating, I live in Charleston too and there's no size limit on pomps.
Another awesome video..
I wonder if it’s possible to hook the quiet cat e bike to the hobie. I have much the same setup, be a cool idea for longer beach hauls.
Looking forward to you making your way back up here man! Safe travels, loving the content.
I’m getting out to Montauk this weekend I can’t wait!
In the "pound for pound" sweepstakes redrum hold their own. That's a nice pompano.
