Stumbled across your videos when trying to research fishing in the lowcountry. Took my 6 year old out a few weeks back and now he and I are hooked. Haven't caught anything but we're enjoying learning making this our new father-son hobby. I'm new to saltwater fishing so I'm having fun soaking up as much information as I can. Great videos and content. You are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Looking forward to learning more. Thank you!
So happy they have been helpful. My daughter is just starting to get into it and share it with me as well. We are truly blessed! Thanks for watching and enjoy time with your boy!
We live in such an awesome place! Great video---loved that drone shot of the flattie by the reds. There was a lot of nice editing in this video--well done!
Great content. I'm heading to Charleston from Arizona the first week of February. Hoping to get a lot of fishing in. This is great information. Thank you for sharing. Keep up the great work.
Thanks man! Charleston is great but y’all have the big specks and flounder. Charleston is awesome because our waterways really open up giving us expansive inshore areas. Thanks for watching Bruce.
I appreciate your channel and enjoyed the first video I watched. I appreciate your authenticity. I started a channel a few months ago and I’m enjoying sharing with others as well. Blessings!
Sorry I don’t. I provide instruction in my videos so make sure you click on the bell notification! There are many great local fishing guides around Charleston. If you are interested in a great charter Capt. contact Gates Roll at www.follybeachfishingtrips.com
I was working in South Florida for a couple of years and that's what the guys did down there. Otherwise, no way of keeping them alive lol@@CurrentAngling
I've really been enjoying your videos. I live here in Charleston. I'm not ready to invest in a kayak. Do you know any good places to shore fish for Reds in the Low Country? We've been to Folley at the old coast guard station but would like to know some other places my son and I can shore fish inland.
Hey man thanks for asking and watching the channel! land based spots: -Pitt street, -bowens island dock (pay dock), -beach fishing. Check out breach inlet, Sullivans near rocks at fort, folly toward morris inlet. -Mnt P pier -Garris pier (Awendaw) Higgins pier (west ash bike trail) Crosby’s folly (pay dock) Off rocks near park at Riverland pub launch. There is a couple benches and rod holders there by the park. -chs county parks. James island and palmetto islands have fishing docks. When you are ready to look at kayaks def check out Time out Sports in mnt P. They can also rent u one to try before you buy. Thanks and enjoy!
Thanks that means a lot. I try to prioritize being informative over entertainment. However, still hope it’s entertaining. I’m sure you can tell by my excitement when I catch a fish, I’m super passionate about it. Thanks for watching!
I appreciate that dude. Mostly filmed right where we met out on the water about a year ago. The drone has taught me a lot about the area, very enlightening. Thanks for the comment bud.
Thanks! I’m finding them around low tide on gradual muddy shallows. Another good place to look is the deep bends of creeks. Up hiding in the grass as the tide gets higher.

Yes I love this place! The flounder was unexpected. Do you know what kind of sea turtle that was? I was thinking green
@@CurrentAngling I know that green turtles are not too common here. I mostly see loggerheads.
Another great video. I’ll holler at ya the next time you’re on the folly river. I fish off of a friends dock right where you were in the last video.

Awesome video as always my brother
Thanks brother!
Great stuff. I use a small frozen water bottle and put it in the cooler with the shrimp. Doesn't change the water salinity. Seems to work!
Great idea! I was pleased to still have live shrimp at the end of the trip.
