Torn Paper Effect | Photoshop Tutorial

In this photoshop photo effect tutorial we will see how to create this somewhat popular torn paper effect.
The effect is actually very simple to create compare to how good it looks. All we have to do is apply some layers masks and use good quality torn paper brushes.
you will need two portrait photos with slightly different poses to get the best effect.we will keep one in black and white and one is color to make effect more impactful.
In the end we'll add some contact shadows and color correction to finish the effect.

If anyone is having trouble opening the brushes, you have to extract the file once you've downloaded it. It should say "ABR File," then you can literally click and drag the file over to Photoshop and it should pop up in a folder. This is what I did for windows and it worked. It may be a similar process for Mac users, but I'm not sure.

@@amrismendoza7955 If you're on a PC, you need to install either winRAR or 7-zip (its free). After installation, all you need to do is right click on any .rar or .zip file and select "extract". If you're on a Mac, I think you don't have to install anything--just double click.
.rar and .zip files are a way to compress large files so they are easier to share and upload.

but for me, I really liked the way and style and you did it.
I for myself edited 3 pictures today, where the picture,
was just torn apart and no other pic edited in.

Thank you! I managed to download the brushes and load them into my photoshop (I had to watch another video on how to load them). There are 22 different torn paper brushes in the set!! I'm a newby to photoshop and managed to do it but I had to use some initiate and google where I had problems. All done and ready to go now!😄

@@chinusainisoni for the brush download just click this link www.brusheezy.com/brushes/13160-torn-paper-brushes and then after download, extract the file from the zip and then select brush tool in photoshop, go to brush settings and find *load brushes* and find the extracted brush you downloaded.
