Eliza, she becomes a lawyer, becomes much closer to her children, and realises she helped Rebecca so much in Crazy Ex Girlfriend, she's done a lot by the end of the series

You can tell a lot about a singer from how their live performance compares to their recorded ones. Donna Lynn Champlin sounds freaking identical, if not even better.

She doesn’t get nearly enough credit for her talents. She nailed every song in the show, and she can sing in a classic style. She can sound like a Disney Princess, an mezzo power balladeer, and an alto show stopper. She’s amazing.
And this song was written specifically to fit her preferred style. Donna said that she is normally given belting songs, but she is a classically trained soprano. When the songwriting team presented this song to Donna, she said that she cried.

Apparently this is her normal singing voice. I saw an interview where she said she developed a deeper voice because larger women tend to only get cast as big, brassy characters in musical theatre, and she wouldn't get roles singing that high-pitched
