What amazes me most is how Gabrielle Ruiz makes that high harmony look EFFORTLESS. In fact, so effortless that it looks like Donna is singing it, as she is covering her ear and apparently using her whole body in an effort to hit high notes. But if you look closely you can tell it's Gabrielle, especially at 2.55 and 3.01. When you're so good that people can't tell it's you slaying the high notes.
She's a FREAKING GODDESS HER VOICE IS TOTAL HEAVEN!!!! I LOVE HER, HER CHARACTER AND VOICE SO MUCH 😃😃😃💖💖💖👏👏👏
People mistake it for Donna because she's known for belting out high notes.
Don't get me wrong, Donna can absolutely slay those high notes, but it's actually her making sure she's in tune. Pretty good trick to use when you're singing middle harmonies or lower harmonies.
The "covering her ear" is a trick to make sure you are on the right tone. But yeah Gabrielle is a queen
David is convincing me that being in a girl band is the most fun you can possibly have, even if you're a guy.
