they get big asf when they're older my grandpa has a fur of one on his wall its like a meter and a half wide plus they're annoying if you live out of a city they destroy trees and make giant holes in your lawn
I've seen a lot of them here in Canada, and they're huge! They do drag entire trees into the water, though not particularly large ones. The north american beaver is the second largest rodent in the world, beat only by the capybara. They grow to weigh roughly the same as an eight year old child.

The parents, Walnut and Nutmeg, are just as cute. The way the little baby snuggles in between mom and dad while they twitch in their sleep is hands down the cutest thing I’ve seen all year.
They forgot to mention VERY talkative! I worked for an animal sanctuary and yes, they are that adorable and yes, they TALK all the TIME! I had to build a small house for a coyote and they were in the pen next to me and were harassing me constantly "you're doing it wrong, we can do it better, and faster too, wrong, that doesn't go like that" lol

The Seattle area has had a huge resurgence in wildlife.Largely because of the way they have managed parks and such.I live in Kenmore.A small surrounding town.Our streams and rivers have wild beavers,otters and such a huge variety of birds and wildlife.I have lived here almost 50 years and it has improved so much since I was a little kid.
I hunt beaver every year here in southern Missouri they are a fascinating animal but sadly alot of times they dam areas that dont need to be damed and often flood homes and basements below Springfield dam i was tasked with taking 4 beavers that almost dammed up an entire river!! They are needed but in certain areas they cause mass havic and completely tear up the river banks
@@Harry64278 its not my job acually i was fishing for flatheada below Springfield dam and met someone who owns a hole lot of property on the river and after he showed me the problem we were having with em I started getting em every season and he appreciates it a hole bunch first one i shot was with my marlin 22 catfishing he was huge!!

@@Harry64278 unfortunately the only way to catch beavers with out it taking months is by trapping them a collar trap that drowns them under water and after that you have to completely destroy the dam and the hut or other beavers will move in. they are resilient and hard working they will patch a broken dam overnight.
