Thanks for the video. How large are the adjustments you’re making here with the screwdriver? E.g. are you making 1/4 turn then checking again, or is it full turns needed to make the adjustments?
Hi Rob, yeah about 1/4 at a time. that said I made lots of adjustments of number 1 cylinder, but wasn’t getting much change. But generally small adjustments.
Can you describe what you're actually doing, do the screws just turn freely or do they have any locking nuts on them. When you turn the screw to the right does it increase or decrease the throttle. Thanks for posting.
Great how to do videos. Just a small question looking on the web for the Tune ECU. but only found the cable and software up to 2014 speed triple's, I only need it to turn my service spanner tool off. Will the older one work ? I have the same 2016 1050 R model. Do you have a link where to purchase it ? Many thanks
Yeah I was concerned if it would work on my bike, but I emailed them and they were very helpful. So contact them to make sure you get the correct product. dealertoolcouk.ipage.com
The triumph guys here said this speed triple is notorious with throttle body balancing and that they've sometimes lost entire day's trying to get the TBs balanced. Was it the same for you, or was it business as usual?
Hi, no I’d say it was pretty straight forward. The only thing as you probably seen in the video, I wanted to adjust No1 cylinder to match 2&3. But had to bring 2&3 up to match No1, but over all it was quite simple.
It’s an hour job start to finish, bike stripped and back together after adjustment. They’re only gonna be a little out of sync if your unlucky, 1/4 turn of one or two of the adjusters screws.
Great video, used your videos as a helpful guide/information.
Glad it was helpful!
with airbox removed. . Do I just need to connect battery to test throttle bodies, or what do I need to reconnect?
Been a long time since I did this, I'd connect everything otherwise it will probably give a fault/warning light
Hello my friend! Excellent video lesson I will use on my Tiger. Where can I download a duplicate of TigerTool with no problems?
dealertool.co.uk/
I know this might seem obvious - But how did you keep the engine running without a fuel tank or fuel pump connected?
Hi its all connected, I've just lifted the tank and propped it up 👍
@@notamotorbikemechanic Great camera work then. 👍
Thank you 😊
Do you have to use a laptop or will a tablet work with this too.
I'm not sure 🤷🏻♂️

The screw do not have lock nut, I’m not sure but think clock wise increases throttle .
👍🏻👍🏻

@@notamotorbikemechanic thanks a bunch. These guys at the triumph service center can be a bit, er, challenged at times 🙄
