With the total absence of a Haynes Manual or similar , your very informative and practical videos are a godsend. I've been a Triumph owner since 1974 (T150) and various ones since then so have a fairly good idea of how to keep my Speed Triple on the road without resorting to the Dealer but my RS has some bits n bobs on it that I'm not too familiar with so thank you VERY much for shedding some light on things like ABS Gate bleeding..... Honestly, thank you very much.
Thank you for doing this instructional video. I just bought a 2011 Speedie and it's a beautiful bike but different than what I've owned before. I've subbed to your channel and hope you continue to make great content in the future.
Opfhh that's a lot of bleeding. I'm happy with my rear brake but I think the front could do with replacing. Do you have to do front and the rears (thinking of the ABS modulator), even if you were only replacing the front?
C'est fou, je suis habitué aux japonaises, et je me rends compte que meme ajuster la chaine d'une moto européenne est une nouvel apprentissage. Heureusement que la conduite demeure standard 😀
Hi, having a Speed triple myself I find your videos very helpful. When adjusting the chain I’m never sure if I should be doing this under load ( on side stand with the wheel on the floor) or on a paddock stand as you have. Does it make any difference when doing this as I always think the chain will take up some of the slack once the wheel goes back on the floor. Sorry if this seems to be a stupid question.
Hi I’m glad you find the channel helpful. Side stand or paddock stand, it doesn’t matter. It still had the same weight going through the back wheel. Take care
chello885 yeah you done the right thing I bought a chain monkey to help get the right tension, great bit of kit for £25. It is a bit of a job without it as hardly any movement on the adjuster makes a massive difference on the chain. These videos are a great help👍
Thanks for another excellent video, extremely well filmed. Quick question regarding your torque wrench, if i may? What make / model is it? I have a Draper but it's 40+ years old and never been calibrated so I was thinking perhaps time to invest in a new one. Thanks again!
im a new rider and i just found this, ive been scratching my head for the day figuring out how to adjust my chain, thank you :)
Your welcome. My friend has been riding for over 40 years, and I had to show him how to adjust a chain recently.

I'm really pleased that my videos are helpful, thank you for the support 🏍👍
Greetings from Dinas Powys! I have a speed triple and your vids have been very useful thanks!
Hi, I’ll probably be in your neck of the woods later.
Glad the channel helps

Your welcome, and thanks for the sub
Great video - getting that tool on was a pig but did it in the end. Cheers!
Try a bit of blue tac in the handle thingy bob.
Thanks for the Video.. I struggled and swore using that stupid adjuster that came with the kit. Now have a decent one ;)
What adjuster can you recomend?
Thank you for this detailed walkthrough video! Very thorough explanation, excellent

Thank you new to the triple also where did you get your personal tools? The thicker one does look like it would stay on better. Thanks

chello885 I did that on my speed and when I dropped it off my abba stand it made the chain too tight so I adjusted it again on the side stand.
gary mckee thats what I found. I used the Abba stand and then re-adjusted once on the side stand as it seemed really tight.

It’s probably because the abba stand takes no weight on the back wheel.

Hi I think its a Draper, unsure of the model. Its very cheap, so would probably just buy a new one, rather than recalibrate it 👍
Is this the same method for the Trident 660? Thanks
If its a single swing arm, I would have thought so
At what miles do you expect to nerd to replace the chain?
Hmm not sure, guess it depends on lots of things, riding style, how often you clean it.
Mine is getting tight spots, so will be charged soon.
