As someone who started snowboarding at 37 on real slopes (blue level in Switzerland).. yes, the crotch / tailbone guard would have been very nice my first day. 😄

I remember the first time my sister took me snowboarding, without any lessons prior, she "tricked" me and took me straight to the top....then left me...needless to say, I was sliding on my butt for the next 2-3 hours....gee thanks sis! 😊

What's up Kevin. I found your channel a couple months before this season began and started my snowboarding journey. Your videos have helped me progress a long way and I really appreciate it. I enjoy all types of contents you have here from lessons, vlogs, to gear reviews, live q&a, and so on. Last November I stood on snowboard for the first time and I'm very proud of the progress I've made since then. Now I can ride medium to black diamond-ish trails and enjoy the view the air and explore unlimited possibilities on the snow. When I see someone pulls a cool move, I try it. I'm completely in love with this sport and it's all thanks to your inspiration. So big shout-out to you. One day when I get a chance I definitely gotta pay Whistler a visit and hopefully soon. Anyways, you guys have fun out there tomorrow.

Im curious to see if he gets tired right away. My first trip to Colorado (after skiing small local places in MN) had me EXHAUSTED immediately, not used to the terrain or stamina it takes. Hope it goes well, and I dig this idea 🙏

I said this in a live stream you did a couple weeks ago but I dropped connection after I posted it because I was still on the mountain:
But basically I wanted to thank you so much for what you do on this channel. Just from watching you I was able to get all my own gear and board and was killing it for a beginner snowboarder by my second day. I even got compliments from strangers around the park lol.
Chris is gonna do great with you as a teacher!... unless the trip is already done then I'm sure he did great for his first time lol
