I love nearly everything on the channel, but I deal with issues of staying focused on things these days. But Chilla’s and these videos are great. I get so wrapped in. Same with VoTD. They feel like worlds being visited. But with more content than the Gmod explorations (which I also love, but currently struggle to stay focused on).

Honestly I feel like the first NPC/character should pretty much always be discarded as a red herring no matter how weird they are just by the fact that it would be really lame and straightforward if it ever actually was that person. Like Mike is weird, and makes the MC uncomfortable at times with his advances, but beyond that he just seemed like a normal, sort of awkward guy.

So mike was hiding so mike found and mike got into an argument with mike and then they're starting to fight. And then another mike was opening the door and saw mike and mike fighting, so mike stopped the fight and mike, mike and mike were going to sleep. (This story brought to you by mike mike and mike mike's wife mike mike)
The male """love interest""" is fucking great in this game, he's creepy and a bundle of red flags that only intensify throughout the game. As I kept watching I kept thinking that maybe the reason why this place was so cheap is because he and the person renting it were in kahoots. I mean even in the 90's that place had a suspicious price, him trying to give the feeling of "choice" while still narrowing the choice to only a single option felt suspicious. Considering how outright adamand he was on planning this weekend out (even after MC told him multiple times she ain't got time for it and doesn't feel for it as much) and how Nora had to stay over just because she had one bonus client to deal with, which could be explained by him also being a boogey client of some sorts was a brilliant red herring. Normally I'm not too fond of these endings but here the "maybe one of the characters had just innately creepy personality with the way he acted and looked, because of some not in depth described drunk relation he had with the female heroine" and actualy this was just a freak accident that wasn't related to any one of the characters but rather a very obscure coincidence feels very believable. Him also being essentially a person who's still coping for some kind of relation in a creepy way even though he doesn't really have much chance would also explain how sceptic and almost downright defensive he was of both the hiker and the actual antagonist of the story. In a way he was way too intrusive and pushy, but considering how he acted after Nora texted him, he was shown that he did put up some boundry and left when he had to. Even if it had grown adults playing trick or treat for like what was 20 minutes straight and had all the weird and frankly not so good fears of fathom series quirks.
12:36 they actually SHOULD add like a Space Invaders arcade cabinet as a late-game purchasable item to Voices of the Void, that would be sick (and you could definitely hide some lore and easter eggs in it, like names on the high-score list or references to some of the actual aliens and mysteries within the VotV world)
Lately I have been watching those UA-cam horror videos and some of those stories reminded of the stories seen on Fears to Fathom and I'm so happy to see a new FTF 'chapter'. Hopefully they will keep adding more and more stories because Fears to Fathom is one of my favourite horror games.

1:24:55 i was so good at that game that i found a hiding spot outside under some stairs, a place where lots of cats use to live. it was VERY out of sight. i was hidden there for about 3 hours, still thinking the kids from the neighbourhood would search for me. it was 11pm when i decided to ask where is everyone. turned out they had stopped playing 2 hours before. it turned out i was all alone in a crack under some stairs in a very dangerous neighbourhood for hours without anyone coming to seek me. not being found while playing the game turns out to be seekers who gave up or thought i left. scary, didn't even have the phone on me.
Wouldnt it be great to have a game with all the horror warnings and jump scare potential and then just not be a horror game, like ive always thought ready or not should have a normal house with cooperative occupatants just to show what its realy like doing raids.
I think schools should have every student play this to make them NOT STALK or be TOTAL CREEPS, for both genders because I’ve met creeps on both sides of the gender scale
