I just love it when God looks out for me and people upload things that are relevant to my life. This was like watching myself. I had all those issues. Went to the gym 2x then 4x. I started the last week of May and I'm proud of my little 8 pound weight loss lol Thank you for the extra motivation. 😊💪

The day I actually noticed I gained weight I was shocked! It's crazy how you don't notice the gain, but sure do notice when it's hard to lose. Great video.
Ah this was so motivating.. Growing up I always struggled with weight but it wasn't bad until jr high I developed a very unhealthy relationship with food either eating too much of it for comfort or being afraid to eat it...after graduating from high school and stopping sports I gained 85 pounds.. Lately I e really been trying to workout and eating good... So far I've found that lap swimming for 40 minutes to an hour is something that I enjoy and so far have stuck with for a couple weeks.. I've thought about giving up cause it's starting to get hard and your video came in at the right time!

I am a mom of 4 boys ages 6, 4 and twins who are 13months. I have been a subscriber of yours for a long time and last night you really inspired me. After having my twins I have been in a complete slump and depressed. After having kids your body changes and that is to be expected but having twins was a totally different story. I watched this video last night and you gave me so much motivation and I want to say thank you for that. it's not easy trying to lose weight and eat healthy but I've been inspired. thank you!

great job! I lost 55 lbs in 2009 and have gained a little bit back but I am back on track. cardio, drinking plenty of water and eating clean works for me.

This is so inspirational for me. After having two kids i've went up from a size 1 to a size 10. I hate my body but I hate working out & I love food lol I over eat too but I hate being depressed over it so I need to do something!

I love love love love this video. I was 132 when i graduated. I went to basic training, and injured myself, and got sent home. I was so depressed, i gained almost 30lbs. Im about 160 now, and ive been needing a motivator, and you did it for me:-) Thank you for this sis!

That's like me I never noticed my weight gain I just went on the scales one day n was like oh :( I tried to lose weight from Jan to April n only lost 16 pounds was so disheartening

Yes, let's make it a small series!! Videos on your workout routine, meals, etc. would be great!! So proud of you, as a member of the graduate and gain weight club, you're such an inspiration. I graduated in 2008 as well and was super active throughout with swimming, cheerleading and dance but since then fell in love, got married and gain that "happy weight" which resulted in being fifty pounds heavier. Back in April I started challenging myself to get it together and began taking cardio hip hop classes three times a week and eating fifteen hundred of healthy/nutritional foods. Thank you for giving me the extra push because this week, I started to fall in a slight down spiral and my feelings caused me to eat badly three times this week!!

I started working out again in January and have dropped about 20lbs and gained quite a bit of muscle. Keep up the great work, it definitely is a lifestyle and as women we will always have ups and downs. The important thing to keep in mind is that you're gorgeous inside and out and focus on health:)

So easy to gain weight! I find working out first thing in the morning is BEST! You get it over with and no excuses for later in the day when your tired from a long day.

Nitra-- thank you for sharing. You have no idea how much of a funk I have been in with my weight loss...I have a trainer and I had no problem showing up to the gym, but my diet was so bad....i didn't understand why I didn't have the brain power to say no to food until you said the words, "I was in love with food"...I'm like, yes, SAME!!!! It explains why I prefer to eat bad after I JUST worked out....I'm gonna make sure I stay motivated by keeping up with you! It's kind of like having a work out buddy!!! You got this girl! 💪🏻
A what I eat in a day vid would be great!! 😊 I get so easily bored when it comes to food so I need ideas! Plus watching what I eat is the HARDEST part for me! I actually love exercising and HATE not eating cookies and ice cream 😂😂😭 the eating clean part is the biggest challenge.
I just started my weight loss journey on Monday and this is the first time I'm actually sticking to it. Working out isn't a problem for me, but I always thought it would be impossible for me to change my eating habits haha. I've lost 4 pounds so far, and it's motivating me so much. A Lifestyle Change is the key. Exercise, healthy food choices, drinking water and proper rest. I'm 5'9 with legs for miles so weight gain didn't look bad on my body BUT it felt uncomfortable on my body .... so I made the changes --- stopped eating out, stopped eating late, consistent exercise and healthier food choices and it made a huge difference just in time for my class reunion. You are a Constant Inspiration. Looking Beautiful as always.
Diet Methods, which I managed to do, with weight loss results 30kg in 2 months from 90kg to 60kg (Height: 170cm)

1. Eat 1500 Calories a day (female) = 1500/3 meals time (7 am-1pm-7pm)
2. Drink pure green tea (matcha powder) 10 grams a day ( 1hour before workout & before sleep)
2. Do Cardio workout 10 minutes every morning using the "Afterburn Effect" method

This video was PERFECT! I haven't been consistent with my work outs and eating healthier meals, so I need to get it together! I had a friend helping me with my work outs, so we set a goal for me to lose about 10 lbs in 2 1/2 weeks. I was doing great like the first week but then I slowly started to drift back into old habits, so needless to say I didn't meet my goal. And what's worse I actually ended up gaining 2 extra pounds 😩. After watching this video I realized that I haven't been praying enough for this weight loss and am now determined to get right and stay on track! Thanks for sharing, Nitra! To me 165 is not that heavy. try being at 197lbs which was my heaviest weight and now im at 180lbs.

Vitamin D deficiency is linked to polycystic ovarian syndrome. Might wanna get it checked out, just giving a heads up as I have it :) xx
I thought the same as it didn't show when they tested my blood, but I went for a scan like you would if you were pregnant and it showed up on the screen that I did have it! xxoxo

I had irregular periods and was finding it difficult to lose weight which led me to do research, linked with having a vitamin D deficiency, my doctor sent me to get an ultrasound. xo
I have pcos. I have all the symptoms but not the cysts. My hormone levels were high. It's hard for me to lose weight. I'm following you on snapchat and also bought a polar watch.
+Nitraa B My periods are regular as well, but I have PCOS and endometriosis with ONLY the symptom of weight gain. My husband and I are TTC, and I didn't find out about the vitamin D and Iron deficiencies until I got a scan that revealed multiple tiny cysts on my ovaries. It's just a more in-depth panel you need drawn to find out. Great job, great vid!

This was so helpful. I'm 5'6 and 175lbs, this is the heaviest I have ever been. I ran track in high school and trained intensely all year round and when I got to college I didn't do anything physical. Im working hard now to lose the weight because I'm so uncomfortable with my weight gain . Your video was truly helpful, I'm trying to get to my goal weight of 135 and maintain it. I wanted to say thank you! You couldn't have put this video up any other timing. This really motivated me out of a depression stage at least so I thought. I made an appointment and glad I did. Doctor found a lump on my thyroid. So once we get that in control I'll be on my weight loss journey once again.

I understand all too well. I've been struggling since high school with my weight. I graduated at 185lbs then I got pregnant and surprisingly lost weight and went down to a healthy size for my body despite the doctors trying everything to keep my weight up. yes my daughter was born healthy. then a few years ago I realized that I had let myself really go. I had got to my heaviest of 265 😱. that scared the crap out of me because I'm a single mom and I want to be around. but slowly I battling and I am down to 223. so congrats girl . I wish you much success on your weight loss journey and getting healthy.

My coworkers ask me all the time "do you eat anything that doesn't come out of those meal prep containers??" And "dang you're always lugging that gallon of water around" and I'm like yup! Because I had hip surgery the first week of June and physically can't work out right now so I have to be really conscious about what I'm eating. You gotta want it for yourself. I swear our stories are so similar. I was a cheerleader all throughout high school and on the dance team all of college. I was always 125lbs which I didn't like because for me I was too skinny I always wanted to gain a few pounds. Post undergrad I got a job in commercial real estate so on a day to day I'm not as active anymore. I weigh 157 now. And all I want in life is to be 135 flat and maintain that weight. Me and my boyfriend work out mon-thur, but like you said in the beginning I still think I can eat what I want. Although I haven't gained any additional weight im not losing any either. I need to focus on my calorie intake and make smarter food choices because going to the gym is only half the battle. Thanks Nitraa!
Thanks for the motivation. I'm on the journey for some years now,since 09. I had lost almost 70 pounds in a year by aquatic aerobics, then my health had gotten worst and I couldn't exercise,I regained 20 pounds,then I was able to do very little exercise. Now I'm giving it a good fight to reach my goal.
On your anniversary video I could tell you were loosing the weight.

I know you love your fitness watch but I have the Fitbit Blaze and absolutely love it! It tracks everything from calories, to steps, sleep, weight goals, etc. They also have an app that will automatically sync everything from the watch. You can even input the amount of water and food you eat throughout the day to further track your calorie count. A little pricey but well worth it!

So it is definetley possible! My motivation is my "WHY" and my goals of course :) my self esteem has improved so much, keep it going girl!!! ;D and remember this is a life style :)
One day I was 150, the next I was 165!!! It does sneak up on you. This was great. About to make a lifestyle change at the start of the year as I too have been down and unhappy about how I have changed and just overall feel unhealthy.

Thanks for your update! It is really motivating :) I gained about 20 lbs since being in college and I also noticed I was having signs of depression. I finally realized it was because of my weight. 20 lbs may not seem like a lot but when your on the shorter side it definitely shows! Its great to hear a story similar to my own so now I know for a fact I can do this. So far I've changed my diet completely & drink ONLY water. I try to some working out but not as much as I should. I was definitely a foodie smh but I've been staying away from bread and pastas as much as I can. Good luck with the rest of your journey

You sound EXACTLY like me. In high school I was so active and I was very thin. I thought I could get away with eating whatever even after high school. Now I'm so depressed about my weight and I made a commitment to my workout.

That God would help you through, your workouts. That's so special to me, because God loves us so much, that he will help us with the simplest things that we struggle with, LIKE WEIGHTLOSS. But ppl today, fail to realize, that he is real. And he will help us if we just ask for his help. Because that's the kind of AWESOME GOD HE IS!!!!!
