I’ve seen those coaster sets often in the thrift stores but I never knew how to upcycle them. Your idea would make it into an easy décor project to sell or give for a gift. Love the picture frame and stools. They turned out beautifully.

The "ribbon" on the lampshade is actually a fringe and the bottom thread holding it together is meant to be removed. It's only put on at the manufacturer to help hold it's shape so the fringe doesn't get cramped when wound on a spool or card. Just get it started and it will pull out easily and immediately flare out...

That’s good to know! It would look better if she does lets the fringe loose!

That's what I was thinking lol but I guess maybe she just liked it better that way. I did notice many of these projects are repeats

Ok I think you could make something amazing out of a paperclip, an old stick and a piece of foil! Seriously Great job! Oh and I wonder is WHERE THE HECK do you live that you are wearing a JACKET in August! Holy cow the rest of us are boiling hot, lol! Oh EDIT: I see from comments this is older footage. Nevertheless Excellent. Thank you!

Hi, did you know you can “undo” the row of loose stitching at the bottom trim that you glued onto the burlap lampshade. It is there temporarily, to keep fringe straight, until you sew/glue it on.

Great work, except…your videos are so fast. I can’t see the finished product. Please slow it down just a tad. I don’t even know what I just watched!

There is a setting that you can use to slow down any UA-cam video. I’m not sure where it is but someone here should know 😊 18:58

@@user-mq1ly9xq7c yeah, I tried it and it slowed it down way too much. Should be a happy medium somewhere.

Touch the screen and stop the video. You can see finished product longer.

It’s the gear at the top of your screen (settings.). Playback speed can be slowed down or sped up.
