I have two university degrees and teaching credentials but opted to stay home and raise my family. I have zero regrets. During the week, besides attention to the children (not home schooling), I get the cleaning, cooking, grocery shopping, laundry done. So weekends were totally free to do fun things, go to church, visit and entertain. I was a teacher for seven years before having children and I might go back to teaching when they go off to college. In the meantime, I am very fulfilled creating a comfortable home and nurturing my family. No shade on women who need to work for financial reasons, or for personal fulfilment. But for me, I am happy doing what you are doing, Andrea. Less money is okay, because we are frugal and think that love and experiences are more important than "things."
❤thank you ❤Andrea for your beautiful voice for sharing what you love and what you find fulfilment in ❤. I am so grateful for your channel and the inspiration you share. Your home. Your style. Your beautiful soul is so in line with all that I love. ❤️. I am in my late 50s now from Queensland Australia 🇦🇺 and was a stay at home mum to 6 amazing kids (4boys and 2girls). I home schooled for the most part of their lives. Sadly I went through a divorce 10yrs ago and am now a full time carer and home maker to my youngest son who’s 21yrs old and has autism. He is such a gift from God. ❤so grateful for Gods blessings in ways beyond measure. I have worked as a paramedic and nurse and have found joy once again in choosing to continue full time home making while starting my own small business. Andrea. You are such a beautiful inspiration to so many girls who want to do what you do. Never apologise for fear of offending. I have learned how to do that now too. Yes, I received criticism and “well intended” feedback from so many over the years. However. I am so grateful I chose to do what lit up my soul and live into my purpose in Gods plans ❤. ❤I am still single after 10years, but still believe God has a beautiful man of God for me. Just not sure where he got lost 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. Much love and hugs to you my friend. You are doing an incredible job. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Andrea. Don’t ever apologize. Staying home and caring for your family and home is the best. Working outside the home is the same for some. No one is the same. I’m so over people commenting on someone else’s living style🤦♀️. Keep up what you are doing. Love your videos❤️
No need to apologize. You and your boys will have wonderful memories of spending that time together. Our daughter is doing the same thing. It's such a blessing!!
I appreciate your message 😊. When I was a child, I realized that all I wanted was to be a mom. But as I grew up, it was embarrassing for me to admit that in front of others. Thus, I studied and became an attorney all while knowing my ultimate goal was to have a family and be a home caretaker. Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m grateful for my education. It pays the bills. But honestly, I am SO excited to finally start trying for kids. I feel like *this* is what I’ve actually been working towards - not to sit at a desk all day, but to bring life into this world and cherish it. It feels sacred to nourish a family. Channels like yours make me feel seen and understood. Thank you 😊
I’m so glad I could be an encouragement! Nothing wrong with having career aspirations and nothing wrong with having an aspiration to be a stay at home mom! ❤
Please, Andrea. Do not apologize for staying at home to raise your boys in a warm & loving home. You & your husband should be proud that you’ve put your family before all of the material traps in our society. I believe that when our lives end, we should leave behind the best of ourselves. Raising our children to be kind, caring, respectful, compassionate and believers in God is the best way to do that, in my opinion. Oh, and that cobbler looks super delicious!
I work outside the home, but my favorite and most peaceful days are the ones during which I am working in my home, trying new recipes, caring for my kids, animals, and garden, etc. Your videos radiate peace and serenity in a chaotic world. Don’t apologize for that - it is wonderful! Thank you for sharing!
My mother was a homemaker despite having been a teacher in Germany. I can tell you she work just as hard as anyone outside the home, but she loved it. As her child, I can say it was an absolute honor to come home everyday from school to a warm home, a filling meal and a happy home. Homemaking is a personal choice and should never be looked down on. Your family surely will appreciate you and they are the only ones that matter. Thanks for sharing!!
I stayed at home. I loved my homemaking . Back in the early 80s/ 90s. I was looked down on by lot’s of people. I admire you very much. Your family is precious. Your home is beautiful. You have a very sweet spirit. God’s blessing to you and your family.
I'm 67 and admire you more than I can tell you! I was a stay at home mom until my son went into 9th grade. He learned Christian values and is the kindest man I know. Someone today just told me what a wonderful job I did raising him. You'll be glad you raised your boys instead of letting daycare do it. You, my dear, are one of my favorite You Tubers! I see my morals and values in you. I share a love of your style, antiquing, baking and gardening. Sometimes I think people criticize others because they're jealous! Please keep sharing with those of us who love you, your precious family and your posts. Sending you love and blessings from South Carolina where this heat is just getting old. I'm ready for fall...soon!
I did not stay home with my kids but my husband did! He was the classic Mr. Mom. It worked out really well for us because I had no desire to stay home with the kids during the day and he was much more into that lifestyle than I was. So I worked during the day and then he would work part-time in the evening. That’s what worked for us. Each family is different and some moms like to work outside the home, not necessarily because they need to, but because they want to.
Never feel the need to apologize for doing what God has called you to do!! I'm one of your oldest fans, I mean by age, and I love all of your amazing wisdom!! I wish I had enjoyed being home as much as you do!! I did enjoy it but also felt it wasn't quite enough and Now as a great Grandma, I see it as the very best years of my life that flew by!!! I'm a Christmas freak and have some decor up already but i too don't want these warm Michigan days to be over!!! You bless all who watch your channel even if they don't realize it!!! Love and prayers to you and your beautiful family!!!
It's never a waste taking care of your family, it's what God has called women to do.I've been a stay at home mom for 30 years. My children (4) are all grown and out of the house and I still stay at home being a housewife. I love your channel and all that you do
@@PineandProspectHome I'm 59, have 4 boys and a girl. I've never been able to stay home with them like I always wanted to. They all have the same father, but he wasn't a good Dad. I raised them on my own 14 years, had to work but I always tried to gear my work around my children. Don't ever apologize for the choice of staying home. God has blessed and will always provide.
Raising children and making a calm, peaceful home for one's family is certainly not wasting one's life. What is more important than teaching, developing, and caring for the next generation?
Andrea, I watched this video with such warmth in my heart for you and your message to young ladies who want to be a Homemaker. I have had a career, and stayed home with my children who are now 32 & 29. I remember many times when I worked that I was looked at in a negative way from some stay at home moms and then when I was a stay at home mom I was looked at in a negative way by those who worked and chose not to stay home. I will say this I worked in the Airline industry and enjoyed my job, but there was no better job than staying home with my two sons and instilling our values in them. I loved every minute, even the difficult times. I applaud you for nurturing others who may want to be homemakers and for being authentic and real in a world where nothing seems real anymore. God Bless You and Yours ❤❤❤
When I look back on my childhood, I am SO VERY THANKFUL that my Mom was a homemaker! Our home was always cozy and full of love! She loved being home and I wouldn’t trade those memories for all the stuff more money would have bought! Now I enjoy being a homemaker and it’s a wonderful gift if that’s where your heart is. You are wasting NOTHING! GOd bless you, your family, and your message! 💕
It's such a joy to hear other women say they enjoy being a mom and homemaker. I've been staying home with my boys for 6 years and never regretted it once!
If more women/men decided to be homemakers and took it seriously like you do, our future generations of children would flourish. It IS a real job/occupation/career. I think about you when I'm working around the house and draw great inspiration in realizing what I'm doing is so valued and so important and SO rewarding:)
I love what u said about homemaking. When people ask me what do u do for a living I say I’m a housewife! They say what do u do all day! 🤣😂👏. It’s like some people put no value on taking care of a home & family! But some do, like us! 🙏. God bless, John 3:16
You are a wonderful homemaker AND working mom (from home). No one has such a successful blog/channel/brand without working hard for it. So you have your own business. For me you are not a stay-at-home mom, but a successful work-from-home mom.
The real beauty in America, is that women have choices. I am grateful to live in such a nation, and I am so happy that you have found your purpose and joy.
College Educated and spent 13 years in a corporate corner office role-I was miserable. Home now with my son and new baby on the way and I have never been happier. We have far less resources to do extras or buy extras, but my son knows that I am here for whatever he needs and I cannot ever get this time back. We are contributing to society by establishing a sturdy foundation for these young people who will one day venture outside of our home.
So glad you're a voice for SAHM. I left my 10yr career as a nurse in 2020 to come home and raise my children. Ive never been more fulfilled. My only regret is that I didnt do it sooner! ❤
You do you...I did me and didn't care for 1 second what other people thought of me.I was a stay at home Mom and I loved every minute,I loved my life and my husband d and children. We are married 48 years,my kids all have college degrees and my hubby had a college degree,I had a trade as a hairdresser and my kids had the best haircuts and styles😆😆😆😆,great video today, great recipes.
I was not lucky enough to be able to stay at home in my earlier days, I was a single mom, and had to do it on my own. I was lucky enough in my early 50's to meet a wonderful man and was able to retire at 55 and stay home and do what I dreamed of doing, crafting helping with grandchildren and homesteading. I had always dreamed of it, and now I can. It is never to late to start your dream no matter what it is. I love being frugal and looking for those deals, I enjoy being a homemaker and finally being able to live out my dream!!
You really shouldnt feel like you have to apologise to any one ❤ you have created such an amazing home life for you and your family feel proud of yourself xx so beuitiful to watch and so inspiring ❤❤❤ you are amazing xx
I love the fact that you show, just how important and fulfilling being a stay at home mom is. Without saying to people you should be a stay at home mom. Love watching everything you share with us thankyou so much.x
I was fortunate to stay home with my three sons, and I am so glad I did. Someone will always tell you that what you are doing is wrong. I'm happy I stuck with what worked for our family. Thank you for sharing!
Never apologize for doing what you feel is best for you and your family, you’ll have NO regrets. I had to work and ended up being the main bread earner. I regret not spending more time with my children. I wish I could go back and do a redo. God has Blessed you abundantly. PTL lol, I just made chocolate ice cream today. Love homemade ice cream.
I haven’t seen one of your videos in so long even though I am subscribed. What a treat. Your boys have grown so much. Your peach cobbler looked amazing. I am so glad you can stay home with your little guys. We were married young at 22 and my first pregnancy was at 24. Very exciting but the Lord allowed us to lose that little one at 17 weeks. I was working fulltime and had planned to stop working after the baby came. But working turned out to be a huge blessing as I had so much support from my friends at work. We thought we would have another pregnancy as soon as we could but it took 2.5 yrs. By then we were redoing an old farmhouse on 5 acres and I was working a full and a part time job both so as to finish the house with borrowing the least amount. My husband is a contractor and so we only had to pay for materials. My 2nd pregnancy was very complicated. I had a miscarriage at 3 months, followed by what appeared to be a very large ovarian cyst with lots of pain and month later. Well long story short, it was an ectopic pregnancy which was a twin. It was a miracle there was no rupture which could have caused my death. After that, with just one tube we did not get pregnant again. My OB did not believe in abortion and he maintained an adoption list. He told us about it and asked if we would consider that. We prayed about it and felt it might be our only chance to become parents. 8 months after going onto the list we got “the phone call”. Our house wasn’t going to be finished until the following Spring and we needed money saved to finish it. But we said yes. We were 29. I immediately gave my notice to the full time job but kept the part time job. 2 days later we had our daughter home with us. I kept that job as it was just 2 days a week. I had 6 weeks off before I had to go back. Everything worked out, we had to pay thousands to the Dr and hospital, paying the birth mother’s bill. But we got our home to a good place and moved in that Nov. The social worker who did our home study was fine with it being not totally finished and mostly it was easy and cosmetic finishing. But our health insurance was switched to my part time job as my husband was self employed. Working part time gave us enough extra income as we already lived quite simply and we had a wonderful lady who asked if she could babysit. It was perfect, one on one so no daycare and she was my mom’s age so was like. 3rd grandmother. God has provided all the way through and 16 years ago we became grandparents to the cutest little baby boy and I shared his first 3 years of care with his other grandmother as my daughter really needed to work financially. This week we celebrated his birthday and he got his driving permit and it has gone by so fast. I am now 73. I was judged and criticized for even working part time. It was 3-11 so my husband would pick her up by 5:30 and have her for the evening which he loved. So the way I see it, no matter how you live, raise your child/children, etc….someone isn’t going to like it. I am very happy for people who can have children so would never even think to decide how they should live. But I feel I had the best of both worlds. I know I would have missed my nursing job so much, yet to do it full time would have been way too much. God bless you and your family Andrea. I’m going to have to follow you more as I don’t get online as much as I used to. And that homemade ice cream maker looks like a lot of fun. 😊
Bless your heart! ❤ My mom was a full time homemaker. She worked hard providing delicious meals and mouth-watering desserts for my dad and her 7 children! Those days under my parent’s roof were the best days of my lifetime! God’s design for the family is one of the greatest gifts He’s blessed us with since the beginning of time. ❤Keep on keeping on!❤
Thank you for discussing the joys of homemaking. It's rare to hear these days. I echo what others are saying- absolutely no need to apologize for raising the boys God has given y'all. Our children are grown now but even w a Master's degree I chose to stay at home to raise our five. There was a brief couple of years worked part time to help with college costs for our oldest two, but the youngest were old enough to be watched by big sister for the two hours after school. We have made it work by shopping at thrift stores and taking the occasional inexpensive vacation or off-season beach trips. Where there's a will, there's a way. ❤
Thank you for sharing your life and your heart for your home and family. I stayed home with my kids and now that they are grown, I am even more thankful that I was able to be home with them. We lived a very frugal lifestyle, but I have no regrets and just am thankful at this stage of my life. Thank you for being a voice in what is often a very lonely choice.❤
Thanks for your voice Andrea! I have done both. Gratitude and self care (a walk, a book, favorite drink, a thrift store, lunch at a new place) also help me to love my life!!
Beautiful you stay home! I was a stay home mom until my youngest was 11. It’s such rewarding as a mom to see my three young women thrive ! Know in my early fifties I decided to stay home again.😅 I do many things at home which I love! I craft!😅. Continue guiding your family, it’s beautiful! I think being a home is part of ministry.
Go Momma!!! I am 55 and raised 5 children, staying home with them, and am still not working out of the home. (I do work now part time helping clients heal physical and mental disease, using tools and knowledge learned from our own healing journeys.) I am grateful for the huge sacrifice (yes, even grateful for the sacrifices) and blessings that have come from being a stay-at-home mother. We now have 11 grand babies from our oldest 2 (daughters), and our baby (our third daughter) is currently pregnant with her first. They are wonderful children (definitely not perfect, we have struggles like all families) and my daughters have chosen to be stay at home moms. Coming from a single mom who had to work when I was growing up, I am mindful of all situations, and that we are all doing the best we can. Kudos to moms everywhere! Thanks for your wonderful content, and being an example of the most important work we do as women! God has blessed us with these divine gifts to nurture His children!
Thank you for fulfilling your role as a wife and mom. You are doing the most important job!! I am a nurse but stayed home full-time for 9 years when my two girls were little, then only worked part-time. No regrets staying home.
The best thing to spend on your children is your Time!! I think nowadays young moms want nice things & don't realize how fast the kids grow❤ you are definitely encouraging to all moms... new moms & older!
My kids had career day at school with five professionals coming to talk to the kids about what career to choose. I opted to call the school and express a desire to include being a mother as one of the options to talk with the kids about.
Hi Andrea 🤗 first of all just want to say “can’t Pleeze all the people all the time”😂 u have said this morning what I have said for 30 yrs! I’m all for young people going to college but if they’re not college bound there’s always a job for them to do EVERY JOB is IMPORTANT!!!! Since I was a little girl I always wanted to b a mama & was made to feel that that was not good enough. Well I’m here to say what job is more important that forming, teaching & bringing new life into this world. It took many yrs for me to learn this valuable lesson & I look bk now & c how very blessed I was to b able to stay home & raise my children. I so appreciate u speaking ur mind w/ such honesty & heart so other women can learn fr u so THANK U ANDREA 🥰🥰🥰🥰

Hello...im new here... Writing this comment from the Mediterranean coast, where i come from. Its so gratifying to find other stay at home mums. I taught at a PS for ten years before deciding to stay home. Best decision of my life, nothing makes me feel more fulfilled than serving my family. Thanks for being the voice of all these women
I’ve had the life experience as a mom, half stay at home for a season and half career as a nurse, while being a working mom and grandmother, the most valuable and fulfilling without one ounce of regret now that my nest is empty excepting for visits from my big and little grands now that I’m retired, are the precious moments shared between my children and I whilst unhurried by juggling career responsibilities not just in my mind but theirs too ❤️ God gifted you with the responsibility of raising good men keep loving what you do! How wonderful you enjoy your assignment from God ❤
Always follow what your heart tells you! As a stay at home mom of 5 who decided not to career forward I found that if you stay home you feel isolated and if you work you have mom guilt. Us women need to just support other moms in their season . God bless moms for all they do to build strong families! Amen
I always knew from a very young age that I wanted to be a stay at home mom. I was blessed to be able to do exactly that! We had to be very frugal with our money and 99% of our clothing, home decor and even some necessities were and still are thrifted. I appreciate your words of encouragement for young girls. It’s important that they know how important the role and work of a mom and homemaker truly is. I did work part time but only after my children were in school full time. Mostly as a substitute teacher at their school and on my own schedule and terms. They were never in daycare and I was blessed to be home when they were. My daughter is in her 30’s with 4 boys, has a degree as a teacher and has chosen to be at home teaching her own children. The budget is tighter but it’s so worth it!
I'm with you, I was a stay at home Mom for 25 wonderful, blessed years. I enjoyed it so very much! We also made sacrifices to make it happen but I would do the same if I had to do it over. I did go to work after for 12 years before retiring but being home with my 4 children was my #1 priority. You are an amazing Mom and homemaker and should be very proud of yourself and your beautiful family! ❤
Andrea, you’re doing you! And so well. It’s what is best for you, and allowing others to do the same. Please disregard the judgements of those who diminish what you’ve chosen for your life and family.
Can I just tell you how much joy your videos and blog bring me? You are my absolute favorite to watch. Your style is exactly like mine and I love your ideas. I have Celiac so I also love your gf recipes. And on top of that, I have a degree and have stayed home with my boys. I work part time mostly from home but I would not give up that time with them for anything. They are now a senior and sophomore. Time goes so fast! Enjoy every little second of being home with them. ❤️❤️🙏
I totally agree! Whatever one decides to do, its ok! As long as they are fulfilled then that's a great thing! Unfortunately i wasn't able to do it, was only weigh my babies their first year & then had to go back to work. I'm grateful i had that first year of course! And thankful the jobs i had with both my children i was able to be with them when the got out of school each day. I was able to participate in all their extra curricular activities, never missed anything they had going on. And I was able to be home & have supper ready when my husband came home from work, had plenty of time to clean & do laundry & all the things..i wasn't bound by my job, it wasn't demanding. If I could have been a stay home mom i would have! I think its wonderful, especially these days, things aren't like they were when i was growing up! Its crazy what the world is teaching our kids that is ok.. When its 100% against what the bible says! And those things that the bible teaches is what we need to be teaching our children! Finding the dated newspaper clipping behind the art piece was really cool! I love finding thing like that! I've found notes in bibles and a letter & some postcards sent to someone from a friend in the military during WWII! Lol, can't have enough or too many cutting boards😄 Honey I'm beyond ready for summer to be over! But I live in Florida g its been a miserably hot summer🥵 Of course it'll be winter for most when we have fall temps, i just want some cooler temps! Its too hot for the kids to go out & play😢 Not wishing cold weather on anyone, just need for it to cool off here🥴 You have a beautiful garden! Its hard to have one here🫤 I've enjoyed the video, I understood why you were saying, and wasn't offended in an way😊 Hope you have a blessed weekend!
Hi Andrea, I feel exactly like you and have never regretted it! Together You and Mike have made a wonderful family life for your 4 beautiful children, and they are so lucky!! Don't ever apologize to anyone for your decision to be a stay-at-home Mom!! God Bless You and Your Beautiful Family! All the best! Hugs! :)
I have 3 boys that are now 15, 14, and 12. Watching you make a meal for your family reminds me of when my boys were younger and making meals for our family. Now, I feel like I never make enough to fill them up. I am sure that will be in your future.😊
I always knew I wanted to be a stay at home mom and I’m so grateful that I am able to! Unbelievably grateful that I get to be home with my kiddos ❤ No regrets, only gratitude!! Thank you for so much encouragement Andrea 😊
I applaud you for what you do, I wish I would have chosen that path years ago. My DIL is expecting my first granbaby soon and I fully support her decision to stay home ❤ also, don’t apologize for choosing the path that you feel is best for your family. You will never please all people all the time you don’t have to apologize.
I was a stay at home mom and loved every single minute of it! I divorced later in life and had to go to work. Got my nursing degree and did that for 16 years and now recently retired. No regrets, being stay at home mom was the best job ever! Enjoy!
Raising a family and keeping a lovely home for your family is a job in itself ! I am a single parent and I have the best of both, I work part time for a charity and then also keep home for me and my children. Don't get me wrong life is very busy but I'd never judge any mum on making a decision on what's right for her and her children ... live and let live and let's continue to support each other xxx
It's a pleasure to be able to make choices that are best for your family. Every situation is different. It's wonderful to be home and take care of your babies. Some of my friends chose to work outside of the home and others stayed home with their children. It all worked out for everyone. You and Mike made a wonderful choice❣
Always enjoy your beautiful videos. The peach cobbler yummy. I agree with everything you said about being a homemaker/stay at home Mom. I am 74 yrs. old so have been around a long time and I don't think there will ever be a more important job than taking care of your own children and your husband and home. If you can't or don't want to thats fine, but I used to hear stay at home Moms when at a party or such, when asked What do you do? they would say Oh I am just a stay at home Mom like they felt less or embarrassed.
Oh how wonderful that God has lead you to speak on the vocation of homemaking. There are so many voices leading young ladies away from the home and family. Never ever apologize. 🤍
Loved the video. Homemaking is a blessing and a very important and rewarding job, especially when it's the desire of your heart. We need more champions. Boldly shout it out, my friend!!! 😇
I loved this video. I am now 71 yo and I was a stay at home mother to my son and daughter and I have never regretted it. I did work part time when my children got to college age and then stopped when I had two grandsons. I then looked after them until they were in their teens. I have had the best like with my husband of 49 years and my family and extended family.
Hello this is my first time commenting on your videos. I love your home and the love you show to your family! My husband and I raised 4 boys and I was a stay at home mom too. I absolutely loved being home with my children. They are all adults now and I’m happy to say that I would do it all over again… keep up the good work. Sometimes people feel that you are not doing “anything” if you stay home with your children. What a lie!!! Moms are maids, psychiatrists, doctors, lawyers, Indian chiefs… etc…lol 😊you get the picture. May many blessings continue to be yours😊
I totally agree with you, staying home with your children is such a blessing and not everyone is fortunate enough to have that choice. I completely understand what you are saying. Sacrifices come in different forms in our lives and what we choose and how we do it, shouldn't be criticized by others who choose differently. We should be encouraging each other, be there and care for one another. So many of us can learn from one another. I know I have learned a lot from friends and family. It's what helps us grow, to see more of the world through some one else's eyes. I am a Michigan girl (always) and live in SC. The hot weather and storms we have had recently have been harder this year for us than most previously. My husband and I look forward to the cooler weather so we can travel and explore our world. You may remember we visited Michigan last fall and we want to go again and explore some more. My husband had never been before and he loved it! Have a wonderful week and see you soon!
Andrea, thank you for another encouraging and inspiring video. I’ve been subscribed/watching you on UA-cam since you had around 2k subscribers! I am very encouraged by you in my own homemaking and homeschooling journey. I’m 40 but became a mother at 33, so I learn so much from you. I have my bachelor’s in nursing but I have never been so happy in my whole life as I am staying home and taking care of my husband and three young children. Money is very tight, but I’m thankful God provides for us. I have gone through your homemaking course and loved it, I’m about to go through it again as a refresher. Thank you for all you do for us! 🥰
Hello Andrea. I wished you did not worry about what other people think. You are an amazing lady, who loves to look after her family. You have both made a beautiful home for you and your family. Just enjoy your lives. I really look forward to seeing what you do next.x
Andrea, thank you for speaking to this! I became a mother two months ago when I had my precious baby girl. I am so grateful that I get to be a stay at home mom and I am living a dream that I have had for a long time. I have been surprised and sometimes discouraged at the amount of negative opinions I have received about this. Your message is so encouraging and a reminder of why I do what I do.
You are such a blessing and encourager! My mom was a stay at home mom until I was in high school and she worked part time to pay into social security. I always loved how she was home with us 4 kids so I wanted to be a stay at home mom like her. I did work briefly when I got married until I started having kids. I was able to stay home over the years with my 6 kids when they were little. I did start working as a cook in my sons school and have now been there for 19 years. But being a stay at home mom was the best career choice for me!
All I ever wanted to do was be a stay at home mom and I am so thankful that I was able to do so! It is such a blessing to be able to spend quality time with your kids even if it does cause sacrifices along the way. I love your videos and you are contributing to society by raising great children!!❤❤❤
I just found your channel and was pleasantly surprised. I expected another home where big box items would be everywhere instead of such a lovely curated space. You have a beautiful home & family and seem very grateful for them which is also rare to see today. I know it is not easy but so many women seem to just dwell on that side of it there does not seem to be room for anything else. If people are so happy with their lives, they would not take other people's choices so seriously, so do not even worry about the few who come to fight. Watching four young boys eating the same meal as their parents tells me you & your husband are doing something right. I wanted to be a homemaker but I was not blessed to find someone to create that place with. Enjoy your beautiful life.
I think it is wonderful that you are able and willing to be home with your kids. I was able to stay home when are kids were young but once the youngest was in scholl fulltime i went back to work part-time, i myself did not feel as fulfilled being home full-time so the fact that you have found things to hejp you balance your life is a blessing. Sharing that experience and knowledge is important. We have three girls in their forties and one has been a full-time home maker, one has worked full-time and one chose to do similar to what i did.
Hi Andrea, you are so blessed to be able to stay home and give those boys the best life. I stay home from time to time taking care of my two children it was a blessing as well. when my kids got older and were able to stay home. I went to work part time to make money for my children and are home. so I could give them things that they needed and also at the time I needed a change in my life as well. My husband was in the Military and was gone a lot and I found a retail job and after 2 years I became a Manager and had my own store for 13 half years until it went out of business. but it doesn't matter what anyone thinks your husband has your back and also you have a big job just taking care of your family and also having a youtube channel is a job. so you have many jobs cleaning cooking, gardening shopping etc.. those are jobs too. so no one can put you down sister. I have your back. and you take care of yourself. You are Beautiful and so inspiring to me. God bless your family. just listening to your kind words made my day. I had a rough life growing up but thank God for Jesus he saved my life and made me a better person and a loving mom and wife as well.🥰😇🌼🌱💮
It's been super hot all over the US. I live in Oregon and it has gotten up to 103 degrees which is very unusual for us here. So, you're not alone. I love your channel so much because of your moral standards which society really needs more of these days. So, thank you for sharing your words and your life with us all. God bless.
Thank you for this message to girls. One of my least favorite phrases is when I hear someone say "only a housewife". Do they not realize what an incredible and fulfilling job this is? Thank you again. Have a wonderful weekend. Blessings - Judith 🎭🎤
I was a stay at home mom until my three sons were all in school. Then I became a stay at home grandmother helping out with nine grands. I heard all the things you have about being home. I have never regretted it. I have two here today. I was able to watch your video while they were playing with Legos 😂
Thank you for encouraging moms. I did some freelance work after collage, worked at summer festivals, and did some sales from home, but mainly raised my boys and homeschooled for 16 years, took care of my husband's father with dementia for some months, and have cared for 13 years for my youngest son, who got Lyme disease his senior year. God guides us through each season. We lived frugally but had enough. My boys growing years were so rewarding to me, and we remain so close. We do contribute to society, just not in a paid profession. Some of my unpaid " jobs " were youth leader for 10 years, women's ministry, homescool activities coordinator, and assistant administrator. Though my best legacy is my three men, and the beauty of a long marriage. I love seeing the beauty and enjoyment of your garden. Our garden is abundant now with flowers and produce here in the midwest, but the mosquitoes drive me indoors! We tend to be able to sit outside more in Spring and Fall.
Hi Andrea. I stayed home with my children too. They are now 31, 30 and 26. I wouldn’t change a thing! I loved being a homemaker! I was saying the exact same things many years ago. I’m so happy you aren’t afraid to use your voice! We need to always hear from stay at home Moms. A beautiful gift to our children. And yes, many sacrifices go with the decision. So blessed!
Andrea.....You are doing the RIGHT thing for YOU and your family....its the BEST job in the world I think, but mainly because you are FULL FILLED / challenged and very happy doing it! Your husband is happy, your boys benefit with having the BEST childhood possiable; a Mom that is spending quality time with them each day. Life is short, it goes by very fast the older you get....these years with your young family comes just once and you will always never regret this time as long as you are happy in your choice, which you are! Thanks for sharing!
Former teacher turned homeschooling mom here!
And yes, less money = more time. There's always a trade off and my husband and I will always pick time.
I love this and totally agree! Homemaking is so fulfilling for me as well!
There's no greater job than caring for your home and family. 🥰💖💕
I agree! ❤
We need more women like you that share the God given gift of being a homemaker. So important to be able to be there to input into your children.
Thank you! 😊
Andrea. Don’t ever apologize. Staying home and caring for your family and home is the best. Working outside the home is the same for some. No one is the same. I’m so over people commenting on someone else’s living style🤦♀️. Keep up what you are doing. Love your videos❤️
Thank you 😊
No need to apologize. Taking care of your family is never wasting your life. It is an absolute beautiful use of a life. God bless your family.
Thank you! 😊
I have no regrets with staying home with my children! Kudos to you ❤
I totally agree staying home to be with your children is a calling and getting to be with your family everyday is such a blessing x
Yes, it’s the most important job! ❤
I've been blessed to be a stay at home wife, and have been able to come along side young women to encourage them ❤
No need to apologize. You and your boys will have wonderful memories of spending that time together. Our daughter is doing the same thing. It's such a blessing!!
So true! Thank you! ☺️
Thank you so much!
It’s nice you are able to work from home at times! 😊
Thank you so much!
Being a stay at home mom was the best career change I ever made. There is nothing better and I wish I could have started sooner. 🤗
I agree!! ❤
Absolutely agree homemaking should be done by more people- this is what our country is missing!!!!!
I stayed at home. I loved my homemaking . Back in the early 80s/ 90s. I was looked down on by lot’s of people. I admire you very much. Your family is precious. Your home is beautiful. You have a very sweet spirit. God’s blessing to you and your family.
Andrea, your boys are getting so big, there is nothing more important than family and you made the right decision.treasure every minute.
Thank you! ❤
Thank you so much! ❤
It's never a waste taking care of your family, it's what God has called women to do.I've been a stay at home mom for 30 years. My children (4) are all grown and out of the house and I still stay at home being a housewife. I love your channel and all that you do
Thank you so much 😊
Oh Andrea... I wish I had this encouragement when I was a young girl... thank you.
Thank you ❤
No more to offer the world than the 4 loving little men you are rais❤❤ing!!!
Absolutely love this! You should not apologize for anything.
Thank you so much! ❤
Thank you so much! ❤
It's such a joy to hear other women say they enjoy being a mom and homemaker. I've been staying home with my boys for 6 years and never regretted it once!
Neither have I! ❤
Thank you so much!
Such a peaceful video. These are things I like to do even for "me" time. Thank you Andrea for being such a role model for these young girls.
Thank you! ❤
You really shouldnt feel like you have to apologise to any one ❤ you have created such an amazing home life for you and your family feel proud of yourself xx so beuitiful to watch and so inspiring ❤❤❤ you are amazing xx
Always do what is best for your family. ❤❤❤
Absolutely!!
I love the fact that you show, just how important and fulfilling being a stay at home mom is. Without saying to people you should be a stay at home mom.
Love watching everything you share with us thankyou so much.x
Thank you so much for your words of encouragement ❤ I stay home five days a week with my children . ❤❤❤
I was fortunate to stay home with my three sons, and I am so glad I did. Someone will always tell you that what you are doing is wrong. I'm happy I stuck with what worked for our family. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for sharing!! 😊
My husband always says I work inside the home, because truly it’s work. Nice video.
❤Keep on keeping on!❤
I agree! ❤

You are a blessing to your family.
Thank you so much ❤
Thanks for your voice Andrea! I have done both. Gratitude and self care (a walk, a book, favorite drink, a thrift store, lunch at a new place) also help me to love my life!!
Self care is very important! ❤
You are a beautiful woman inside and out your family is so blessed to have you. Please don't ever feel bad for your choices they are perfect for you.
Thank you! ❤
Andrea, may I sum up all that you offer to your family and your subscribers......LOVE over everything ❤❤❤
Thank you so much 😊
Simple things in life are truly the best. God bless
Yes! Thank you! 😊
Go Momma!!! I am 55 and raised 5 children, staying home with them, and am still not working out of the home. (I do work now part time helping clients heal physical and mental disease, using tools and knowledge learned from our own healing journeys.)
I am grateful for the huge sacrifice (yes, even grateful for the sacrifices) and blessings that have come from being a stay-at-home mother.
Thank you so much! ❤

Oh Andrea🥹 Thank you for being a voice for this important choice🙏🏼💖
Thank you! ❤
Beautiful video! You are such a blessing to all of us out here! Being home with your sons is such a privilege! God has so good! 🥰❤️🙏🏻
Thank you so much! ☺️
You’re so calming and beautiful! There are always people out there that will put you down, but you were built for “ such a time as this”😊
Thank you so much!! 😊
Thank you so much for sharing and for all of your kind words!! ❤
Thank you so much! ❤
Hugs! :)
Thank you so much! ☺️
Thank you so much!

I think it is great you stay home with your family. .
Glad you Are able too..love your utube videos sharing your beautiful home and family 🤗🩷
Thank you so much! ❤
You are so right, thank you! ❤
Thank you! ❤
Aw thank you for sharing this! You are so right! ❤
We certainly need to be more supportive of one another! Thank you! ❤
Aw I’m so happy to hear this! Thank you for sharing! ❤
Like you I was a stay at home mum ( my daughter is now 35 ) and so was my mum and I wouldn’t have changed it for the world 🥰❤️
You are such a blessing and encourager!
I’m so happy you were able to stay home! ❤
I’m so happy you were able to do what was best for you and your family!
Yes, it is so much more! ❤
I was a stay at home mom until my three sons were all in school. Then I became a stay at home grandmother helping out with nine grands. I heard all the things you have about being home. I have never regretted it. I have two here today. I was able to watch your video while they were playing with Legos 😂
That is so sweet and such a blessing! ❤
Thank you so much! ❤
So blessed!
Thanks for sharing!! ❤️
