Skilled mechanic, skilled fiberglass fabricator, skilled painter, skilled electronic work!!! Man, you're the BOSS! 👏👏
I think im starting to believe in elves lol , oh, im asian too , pilipino
He is truly brilliant mechanic and fabricator and without all the special tools required. Very well done from Britain.🇬🇧 eminently employable .
And welder
In the USA, the "WOKE" would accuse him of having some type of privilege and being the beneficiary of a tyrannical male patriarchy. I call it hard work by a skilled human.
He is one heck offa guy...
You amaze me ... I'm a retired engineer of 45 years and to be honest, I would be challenged to accomplished what you have with this project. Your knowledge, skills and ability to adapt are rare indeed. I thoroughly enjoyed watching you work and devise ways of solving issues. You have received over 6,000 comments on your accomplishment and every single one is well deserved.
Good luck to you in all that you do in life, Cheers Mate!!
Just think what he could do if he had every thing he needed instead of junk/garbage! I really think people like this guy should be put in contact with major corporation R and D departments some where! Their talents go unrecognized....
@@lawrenceallenkirschjr4167 well said sir 👌 these people just need the support and they'll make wonders
But thats the point. Soon people might have to devise solutions from the rubble of others. He is an inspiration to those who choose to live in coexistence with nature developing their skills with things other privilege countries describe as waste. His skills would be wasted in a corporation producing products from new materials at high dollar for people who have wasted a plethora of solutions to excessive consumption already. A new, improvising culture is emerging and it is so greatly needed if anything is left after nature achieves balance again.
These skills aren’t really that rare among people that are closer to survival type lifestyles. A good portion of village kids in Alaska can repair a snowmobile engine in the bush. Their survival depends on it. When you live in a culture that reuses, recycles and repairs what they can because the cost of new is just too much to afford, these skills are more and more prevalent.
Yes, he knows engines. I would take far more time cleaning things. I would get stuck on one or two nasty details. He doesn't get stuck, he knows the best solutions. When you know a couple of good mechanics, you'll know the way they work. He simply has it all. Patience, energy, experience and mental calmness.
Thank anh
My dad used to be able to strip down and rebuild engines like that - and also turn his hand to pretty much any skill (electrical wiring, plumbing, carpentry, welding, fibreglass, epoxy moulding etc), would rescue things from "the dump" and fix them up - it's refreshing seeing that combination of skills in a young bloke. Could sit and watch these vids for hours.
My dad left me
@Karl with a K Yeah, Dad used to do his own projects or help out the family - did a lot of work on my sister's house... he took a couple of days off sick and my sister said she couldn't tell people that she'd lost her plumber, electrician, plasterer, paper-hanger, carpet-layer, carpenter, painter and tile-layer "due to sickness" or people would be wondering what she fed her *workers*.
His paid jobs mostly involved heavy earth-moving machinery and driving (he had every possible class of ground/road vehicle licence except for tram/trolley).
I'm thinking Mr Ho might be a bit older than he looks :)
This is what UA-cam is all about. Giving talented individuals a platform to show their skills.
Nothing like super glue and flip flops to show what you can do with school materials. Quick! there is also a video on flex-tape!

A mechanic.
An electrician.
A machinist.
A sculptor.
A fabricator.
A designer.

Just rebuilding that burned out old motor was enough to earn him the title of mechanical genius, but then, forming a unique boat around it. Wow. Awesome
Agreed. He is the best so far. Inventive, resourceful and his all-round abilities earns him the Number 1 spot.

Very Cool Mr HỒ!👍
In the USA we welcome, admire, respect and are inspired by this type of ingenuity. Thanh Che - Mr Ho you are The Man!
You are a very intelligent Youngman being able to take a project from your brain and create it from scrap material is amazing. Thank you for sharing your projects with all of us!
i recently bought an old jet ski that looked beyond repair that has been sitting for two years now, but this inspired me to finish and get it running, maybe i’ll weld a hull with aluminum and make a mini jet boat! You made it obvious the impossible is possible..👏🏼
Nothing amazes me more than electrical work. Yours is so clean, and a miracle when you see what you started with.

Half way through and I'm competely impressed with the restoration skills.
i think i seen him build underground swimming pools out of mud and sticks using a stick and a reed bucket. he used the stick to dig and the reed bucket to carry the debris.

So, I just spent the better part of 4 hours removing my old Rack and Pinion steering in my 1988 Center console boat. fed the new cable and drilled new holes for updated steering wheel and such. Was feeling rather accomplished until I saw this. I watched every minute! Inspiring dude! Thanks for the video

Awesome impressive skills great job very well done.
I stumbled on this and watched it. This Guy has alot of different skills and he is talented as hell. were going to need folks like this in our future!
This is the difference between a builder and someone who buys parts or alters stuff a bit. Bolt on parts are easy to do. Scratch built anything not so much. Nice job
Just found your channel. What a perfect example of know how, combined with effort. Add in the efforts to record and show it all to us.
It's a huge contribution in sharing your knowledge! Thank you!
Love Việt Nam. 🇻🇳🇻🇳🇻🇳🇻🇳🇻🇳
I enjoyed watching every minute of what this young genius accomplished. I had no idea how, but WHOOHOO. My congratulations, it was a pleasure watching.
What I love about this guy , he doesn’t fake it , unlike others who deep the new bike or engine in the mud than pull it out to make video
This guy is a mix of Nikolai Tesla, Mr T, everyone who has ever made a robot on robot wars! Amazing talent!
Mr. Ho, I love the genius of your builds and the reutilization of equipment that most people would see as junk. You are an awesome engineer.

Refurbishing that engine was pure genius, if that wasn’t enough, you then put the boat together out of virtually ‘nothing’! Great to watch, I would never have believed it, otherwise. Thank you.
The moment I heard it work I was amazed, it is so cool! Your ability to comprehend the structure and restore, maaan, you truly are a great engineer!
This guy is a mechanical genius! I didn't know what to expect, but throughout the whole video I was amazed and even left speechless through certain parts. Not just the knowledge, but also the creativity is astonishing! Kudos to the creator of this eye-catching water craft!
I would have worn some nitrile gloves for much of the cleanup work around the 3 min mark, and likely the entire expedition.. Solvents are great, but you need to protect yourself......Great video.
Someone send this guy a built 550 kawasaki engine😯
Yiu want cool dhit but you're poor, the problem isn't that you're poor, you just suck at being poor. Being totally useless is a trait of the rich, and you're not rich, you're poor. That means you have opportunity, go find some broken shit and make it cool shit.
Wow after that engine tear down and restoration I forgot there was still a boat to be built! Very impressive.
I really like watching this video, I always don't want to miss watching my boss, greetings old friend
Knowledge, understanding, patience and creativity. Brilliant!
The lack of new parts is what truly makes this impressive, especially when it came to the electronics. 👍👍👍
no new rings or bearings and the electronics all corroded from salt water ? i dont believe it . the bearings where freed up ,but most likely pitted and damaged and wont last ,same for the rings . and the electronics . he did a great job cleaning every thing . but i cant believe that it worked with out new parts .
@@boracay12 this guy is a typical guy that underestimated the Vietnamese. You saw what happened to the US already.
@@black7987echo say what you want but no orings or gaskets and the engine will fail.
@@garboi8976 You can see from the carb portion that the diaphragm was falling apart, and he rebuilt it with a carb kit since it showed a good diaphragm later on. Also, a 2-stroke engine simply wont run with a massive crankcase leak, with the very damaged main seal he showed.
He most certainly used lots of new parts to get that engine back to running. It is a little deceiving from the video, but I'm guessing it gets him more views.
@@boracay12 I suspect the cost in parts was getting close to the same as the value of a new engine tbh. Fun vid though.
This is one of the most incredible feats of engineering and applied up-cycled design I’ve seen in a very long time my friend. You are truly an amazing engineer, artist and craftsman. ✌🏽
Aren't you going to tell him about the monoxide he is breathing in? 🤔 he is so close to the exhaust.
And yes even though he is in an open space he can still get poison by the fumes from the monoxide.
Research it yourself don't take my words as proof.
@@penlavits3305 you’re certainly correct Pen. I doubt he needs to research it though. I think carbon monoxide is something just about everyone knows will kill you. I was shocked to see the guy run that engine in that small studio with very little ventilation
Be sure to subscribe to Sailing Uma channel. Dan, the skipper, does all sorts of design upgrades to their sailboat that they bought for $3k. It is now an all-electric boat with an electric motor, solar panels and a wind turbine they designed themselves. It is truly incredible.

Mr Ho, you belong to the best of the human race. Congratulations. A beautiful example to follow when we have a good idea in mind and the skills to carry it out. It was a pleasure to follow your feat in this video. I confess that I was a little envious to see him master so many techniques. Best wishes to you. Waiting for the next video :)
I think the most satisfying thing is seeing you recycle bits and peices into this bad ass piece of work. Id put a larger or second fuel tank at the front to balance it out a bit better. Or like a foam mat that a small second passenger could sit in (if the boats got enough boyancy that is) I reckon once you get enough weight at the front, you will really unlock her full potential. Other option would be to extend the back.
nice to see your work, this boat looks no comfort to ride and vision
very nice work well-done all the best

I was kind of doubting in the beginning that you'd be able to turn that burnt down engine into just running. But you went above and so far beyond what I expected and turned it into a very appealing and unique futuristic small water craft. I'd prefer this over a jetskii! Looks like a new idea to change small watercrafts

A fine mechanic. That is exactly the way that I was taught 50 years ago to break down an engine and even to clean the threads of the screws, then laying out and organizing the parts.
So what did you wind up doing for a living?
