He's got a hell of a band there! Fantastic song. Anyone who says prog died in the 70s needs to wake up. There's as much great prog being recorded now as when I was 18 in 1973.
If not for the Internet I would have NO WAY OF KNOWING that prog didn't die in the '70s! The last few albums of Genesis & Yes would have indeed been PROOF that prog was LONG dead. Want to blow your mind? The first time I heard Yes, ELP, Bowie was on AM Radio! These days radio is a hiphop wasteland.
Impecables las presentaciones de Steven Wilson. Que calidad de música, letras, sonidos, mezclas, visuales... Y músicos que lo acompañan en el escenario. Gracias por compartir. 🍷
Just saw this show in KC. It was 10x better than the best show I'd ever seen or even imagined. Virtually a spiritual experience, had tears streaming down my face during Lazarus. Unbelievable.
No homo or anything but I'm really surprised at the youthful exuberance Wilson gives off despite his age (48). Not that 48 is particularly old, but he does indeed look younger than 48.
+Vinlandian Lore Don't be afraid to say that you find a man attractive or handsome. Saying it doesn't make you gay. On the other hand, HE IS HOT indeed.
Steven: I'm going to have a kind of pop rock radio friendly thing Producer: Radio friendly. Really. Steven, what did you do Steven: I'm sorry? Producer: We're friends, you can tell me Steven: Steven: ok it's in 9/4 or some shit
Zwel MUN WINT I didn't really care about the lights, at the concert. I had enough with the music. That was the main thing after all. It was awesome, by the way!
+miguel angel pini Craig Blundell is an excellent drummer, being featured in tons of prog rock and drumming magazines and making drum clinics all over the world. He was picked out of many worthy drummers with the difficult task of replacing Marco Minnemann. The one who picked him of course was Wilson himself, who has worked with the great Gavin Harrison, Chad Wackerman, etc, and you're saying the drummer is not good enough? Cool story bro!
There's something missing in the drums. This guy doesn't keep the constant kick drum beating and that really adds character to the song. Don't get me wrong, it's good and sounds amazing, but the song itself looses some of that hartbeat feeling it usually has.
Marco Minnemann plays on the album and that guy is a straight up virtuoso. This drummer is really great too, but Marco is like, one of the greatest drummers alive.
I hope Craig Blundell gets replaced by whoever adds more groove and feel to the songs. Compared to Marco, Gavin, or even Chad, he sounds like he's trying too hard.
I am really waiting for some To the Bone live material so everyone who highly criticized Blundell can finally shut up. After more than 2 years with the same band he is really getting into it and totally smashed his kit onstage. Which was predictable since he is one of the best pro drummers in the world nowadays and I think there's no need to argue about SW's band choices. It seems that everybody loves to say "bring back Gavin / Colin / Guthrie / Marco / Richard - replace..." or what else for the pure joy of making some controversy. Well they're some of the greatest players in their own instruments, unlike most of us. Just to remind you
yawn ....everyone has their favs, but Craig is bringing his own style and I like it. why the negatives? , cant you just friggin' enjoy the song writing and band performance for what it is? - seen it so many times - steve hackett v Daryl , gary husband V phil gould etc it is so boring.
I'm sorry Steven, but I believe you need to emulate Robert Fripp and bring back a new iteration of Porcupine Tree. This is almost there, but not quite.

...if not more... xxxx

You have to love Steven's weird hand movements.
In his mind it means something we don't even understand. Maybe we don't but we can never know with this man, that's what i'm saying
he's casting spells that require verbal, somatic and material components. He's a magician and he loves the occult
exactly what i think lol
he's expressing the imagery in his head. He loves to embrace the energy when he gets it.
Weird. Hmm, I don't see them as weird at all. Peculiar to him.
Just saw this show in KC. It was 10x better than the best show I'd ever seen or even imagined. Virtually a spiritual experience, had tears streaming down my face during Lazarus. Unbelievable.
Saw this tour as well....thought it was clearly the best concert Id ever attended. Cant wait for the next tour.
Words Cannot Describe is more like it. This entire album is the epitome of music. Happy Returns hits the feels so damn hard.
Esta cancion es perfecta... me encanta como Steven Wilson tomo la influencia de Aviv Geffen en ella... Simplemente perfecta
Steven's guitar is strapped lower than my self-worth.
¿Quién chingados le pudo dar dislike? Esto es lo mejor del mundo.
Damn, wish I could go back and see these concerts live again!

+Vinlandian Lore He's so hot xD No homo (?)

+Vinlandian Lore He looks like he's in his early thirties. I was really surprised when I found out he was almost fifty
I would bend him over the table and ride that ass till he would moan from pleasure. ... yeah... no homo
lol
Beautiful song as only Steven Wilson can - reminds me of some of Snow Patrol from eyes Open
Steven Wilson is the consummate master of the use of compression technology.
how can he sing without crying all along the song?
that's for rehearsals
Super video Ruso
Steven: I'm going to have a kind of pop rock radio friendly thing
Producer: Radio friendly. Really. Steven, what did you do
Steven: I'm sorry?
Producer: We're friends, you can tell me
Steven:
Steven: ok it's in 9/4 or some shit
lmfao
Steven Wilson has a painting in his loft that we will never see....
Mr. Barefoot a genius 🥰
This line-up makes this soft song look manly af
ossam.....just great
so strong w love
temassoo.
Think have see Kut Cobain for a moment , beautiful performace of Steven Wilson !!!
Esto es lo que pasa cuando grabas un buen disco poco producido y eres buen músico. ¡Esto es defender un discazo en directo, suena jodidamente igual!
no production on Light? show seems good but felt too vacant.
Zwel MUN WINT I didn't really care about the lights, at the concert. I had enough with the music. That was the main thing after all. It was awesome, by the way!
Who is the muscular girl in bass?
Ain't a girl its Mr. Nick Beggs. Amazing bassist. Ik its sarcasm 🤣 just wrote for my own self being
el baterista es de madera ,
+miguel angel pini tu es de merda
yo no soy baterista ..pero se reconocer a los buenos
because you dont kwnow nothing about prog .. try ricki martin .. ideal for you !!
He's an excellent drummer, top-notch.

Protherus It's obvious what's missing Mr Gavin Harrison 😉
G H actually, no. Just the original constant kick drum beat from the record. We all know Gavin is amazing, but it's not his sound what's missing here.
Marco Minneman is playing on the record, not Gavin
Marco Minnemann plays on the album and that guy is a straight up virtuoso. This drummer is really great too, but Marco is like, one of the greatest drummers alive.
@@larkstonguesinaspic4814 Yeah I know Marco is the drummer from HCE. I still stand by my point though, I'm missing the constant kick drum beat only.

Craig is the man. Get over it.
