I grew up in Beaudesert, where pats restos is based, and although there was a strong car scene, I don’t remember anything of this calibre ever existing in the area 10-20 years ago. So good to see a small country business punching with the big boys 👏
Thank you Howard for another great episode. Congratulations on what you have achieved with Boss XC. The personal and physical toll to achieve such an outstanding result should be applauded.
That video was so soothing for the soul. The soft, elegant lounge music was a very nice touch. Go Louise ! Love your work. Amazing quality of cars there Howard.
Been quietly following Boss XC for a long time now and I've loved everything about the journey. You make us feel like we're right there alongside you and as a car lover or all types of cars it turns into an emotional experience just as an observer. So I can only imagine the toll it takes on everyone involved. Massive congratulations on what youve achieved! I really wanted to get there in person but just couldn't so thank you for this walk around video. After everything else you still have time for this. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Thanks mate for the support, Yes they are draining. So many hours thinking about how to get it all done. Couldn't do it without the team and my wife Heathers support.
Always an information ep Howard you're a lucky to have been involved with such esteemed cars and people and it shows that people trust you, I've followed you for a long time and my all time favourite from you is Rock 4
Unbelievable quality at motorex, soo good to see all these cars up close. Then all the rest of the halls and real street although the weather may have kept some away. Finally the drifting and burnouts to quench the hoonigan. Absolutely brilliant 👏
I was great to finally get over to the show and meet you and Daryl and have a bit of a chat Howard It was a bit overwhelming for me to see so many amazing cars especially your blue one They were all so unbelievable and I’m with you on the bmw that was a stand out for me too I was stood looking at it on Saturday and had three people say to me that is the car they like the most I also liked the the jag in the hall across green with a turbo Barra That would be a daily driver for me Once again great to meet you and have a little chat I don’t expect I will ever travel east again 👍👍👍
Thanks Howard for the footage. Unfortunately I couldn't make the show but kept checking for updates on BOSSXC. Well done to you and the team for the achievement. Well done to all all of the entrants. What I really enjoy seeing is a car built to that level of quality but also intended to be driven regularly, the effort to ensure it is at the quality to be shown in the top 6 of MotorEx and be engineered for the road is a testament to the workmanship. I look forward to following you on your next build journey.
This is the best motorex video I’ve seen, thanks for taking the time to voice over rather than throwing on some music and showing the cars - also showed the cars I wanted to see
thanks Howard, i would of liked to have a chat with you but u were always busy, loved boss xc, i think it was the pinnacle of what a good street car should be, bet it drives as good as it looked.
I don't know if you've done one on this subject Howard but a video on your thoughts, process and just general ideas with planning of a build like materials, colour combos etc. Just seems there are phases of certain colours and materials used in builds.
Thanks for sharing Howard. It's a shame to see on some other channels people dissing BOSS XC, in comparison to the XY. But there is clearly a different build strategy from the owner, the guy that pays the bills, in what he wanted as a finished product. I'd be very happy to drive BOSS XC about compared to the XY! BOSS is mint in every aspect. And I rang lovells in Adelaide and mentioned your show and sponsorship and they helped me with a great price and knowledge!
Good to hear Lovells could help you out. As with the XY and the BOSSXC, two totally different builds with totally different budgets and timelines. We are very happy as I'm sure the XY team is with there results.
Only 3:30 into the video and I'm already blown away by what I'm seeing.. flush rear tail light surrounds, sump cooling vent cover over the steering rack, rear exhaust... it doesn't stop. Might have to watch this video in segments so I don't blow a brain cell or two 😜
Thanks for another great video Howard. Because of the family connection I'm biased toward Adrian's Torana. Some seriously fantastic cars there but the Corvette was a standout for me, such a classic shape.
Yes, I saw it at Summernats, just out of the judging hall. I’m not a big fan on Commodores, but I couldn’t believe how perfect the fit, finish and paint on the car was and I told the owner so.
Hi , congrats on boss xc. Just wondering about the xy that one grand champ at motor ex. Am i wright in thinking that Adam Le brese was involved in its early construction. ? Also , what ever happened to him. Just thought you might know. Cheers. Bring on the panel van.! 👍
Those 50s cars must have 30 Grand worth of Chrome on them .. not a great deal of shops doing it nowadays, or they want to concentrate on their mining or industrial clients and it takes forever to get a spot..
You would be hard pressed to find a four door car getting that customized in the us . Four door cars in the us are family cars there not considered cool.
i havnt read all the comments , watched a few different vids of this amazing Falcon. No mention of the ? motorcycle brake calliper park brake offender? if tgat is not what it is, ill stand @*'jh&/g
Thank you for taking the time to share motorex with the people who couldn’t attend … your a legend Howard 🤙🏻
Our pleasure thanks to Lovells Automotive
Great video. Loved meeting you Dale & Darren @ Motorex Howard. Boss XC looked amazing in the flesh - do not retire!!!!
Just a bit slower pace

That’s oh so true
Thank you Howard for another great episode. Congratulations on what you have achieved with Boss XC. The personal and physical toll to achieve such an outstanding result should be applauded.
You got that right
That video was so soothing for the soul. The soft, elegant lounge music was a very nice touch. Go Louise ! Love your work.
Amazing quality of cars there Howard.
Glad you enjoyed it, music is the hardest part to an episode 😊
Glad you enjoyed our style
Thanks Howard. Congrats on the Super six.
Thanks very much

Fantastic Pieces of History there Mate.
Thanks for showing these Icons of machinery & art👍🇦🇺🍺
Glad you enjoyed it
Unbelievable quality at motorex, soo good to see all these cars up close. Then all the rest of the halls and real street although the weather may have kept some away. Finally the drifting and burnouts to quench the hoonigan. Absolutely brilliant 👏
We will cover the other halls in the coming week
Great result Howard & Peter, and the E30 is one of my favourites as well 👌👌
Cheers Cal

Thanks mate, Its been a great journey with this car and the start of the channel
The quality level has risen substantially, congrats on the placing. The HQ Statesman is the outstanding pick for me.
Yes ver hard to pick just one
Author great video from the Astill filling Production team ..
Thanks David, learning all the time
This is the best motorex video I’ve seen, thanks for taking the time to voice over rather than throwing on some music and showing the cars - also showed the cars I wanted to see
Our pleasure Luke
Awesome footage Howard, love watching it and hearing your take on our cars
Thanks Tim, Muscle car hall next

Our pleasure!
thanks Howard, i would of liked to have a chat with you but u were always busy, loved boss xc, i think it was the pinnacle of what a good street car should be, bet it drives as good as it looked.
That will be determined very soon

will looking into that one for sure

Another killer video and the XC was presented and finished so well. So glad i got to see it. FORGED XY is next level hey. ❤
Thanks mate, yes the Grand Master is truly that.
Serious competition. Still the boss looked amazing.
We’re happy
I picked the BMW E-30 too Howard,only because it’s a different shape..Plus I love those little BMW’s
Was a sweet little ride

Pat's pro restos UA-cam channel just put out a very detailed build video. It's an amazing watch
@@nudgeee80 Thanks, I'll check it out
Yes sure is detailed
I'm an old boy like you and every time sone one says I don't think they can get much better they do cheers.
Like everything, racing etc
Thanks for another great video Howard. Because of the family connection I'm biased toward Adrian's Torana. Some seriously fantastic cars there but the Corvette was a standout for me, such a classic shape.
Yes all beautiful cars.
PROGM8 the blue vh came runner up summernats grand champion its a hell of a car arguably Australia's best commodore imo
Cheers mate
Yes, I saw it at Summernats, just out of the judging hall. I’m not a big fan on Commodores, but I couldn’t believe how perfect the fit, finish and paint on the car was and I told the owner so.
I haven't seen one car here that I didn't like! Great Job!👍
Me neither, awesome display of cars
Outstanding ❤
unbelievable quality and diversity
Hi , congrats on boss xc. Just wondering about the xy that one grand champ at motor ex. Am i wright in thinking that Adam Le brese was involved in its early construction. ? Also , what ever happened to him. Just thought you might know. Cheers. Bring on the panel van.! 👍
Yes it was started by Adam, I know little more than that
hi howard, great video! just wondering what your thoughts were on that green 2 door XJ Jaguar??
I will cover it another video, but yes very nice car
Hey Howard, Love your work mate. Please check out Hamish Davison - 1976 XJC Jaguar. It blew me away. Barra in a rare perfect Jag. Not XY VK EH.
I have footage for another video with unvails and hall of fame
So many high Quality cars good to see wouldn’t like to be trying to build a show winner at the moment enjoy now back to the van
Yes mate will do
@@AstillDesign I feel our era of builds is changing but I do the same to my 2017 mustang foose chrome wheels nitrous kit love it
Great footage sir
Cheers mate
Top video!
Thanks mate
Great vid
Thanks
That Statesman is 👌
Sure is
The one question i think needs to be asked is
How much work is paid for by the owner and how much is given inreturn for " promotions???
Hi Mick, On these big builds about 80% of your total hours get paid for. The show part is something I do because I want to so its my own time.
Some off the displays are worth a fortune
Oh so true
Those 50s cars must have 30 Grand worth of Chrome on them .. not a great deal of shops doing it nowadays, or they want to concentrate on their mining or industrial clients and it takes forever to get a spot..
That’s for sure
A damn shame Exclusive Customs do not have a website
They have a good Facebook and Instagram
Pat's Restos have posted some work executed on the 71 XY: ua-cam.com/video/ICXWfdAOfGM/v-deo.html
Yeah I have shared it on our Facebook page
WILDCAD. Not King Cad. RIP Mario
CORRECT
Love the BMW
Yeah was sweet
I wish everyone would stop painting the chrome bumper bars
Yes but more cost effective when you cut them up to reshape
@@AstillDesign so putting 150 grand into a car the best way to save a few hundred is painting the bars?
🏆amen🏆
Yes sir
👏👍🏻🍺
👍😎
You would be hard pressed to find a four door car getting that customized in the us . Four door cars in the us are family cars there not considered cool.
That’s true, us Aussie’s like a 4 door
Overkill in effort and cash. Be too frightened to even start it up, let alone drive it.
Yes it is a bit like that. Most will get used after the show stuff is done.
It's 2023 and we still have fresh unveils with Simmons... boring considering how many nice wheels are out there instead of over played simmons
some people just like Simmons
Some beautiful vehicles with horrible wheels.
Fortunately there easy to change once the trend moves on.
Amazing metal,,👍🏽😎😎
The best!
i havnt read all the comments , watched a few different vids of this amazing Falcon. No mention of the ? motorcycle brake calliper park brake offender? if tgat is not what it is, ill stand @*'jh&/g
which falcon are you referring to?
