I spent my Easter vacation in Rwanda. Gisenyi was one of my favorite city I enjoyed. It's a clean city, well organized. I enjoyed the beach from L. Kivu. Rubavu it's a super place to be.

I have to say I was among the people who used to think that Kagame only developed Kigali. But from your videos, I have now concluded that he Is a genius leader. All these other cities are clean, well organized and have good buildings. It's time for most of the African leaders to learn from him.
A good number of Congolese used to prefer living in Gisenyi mainly for security reasons. That number has dropped when the border was closed for months due to Covid and souring relations between the 2 countries.
I realized that if the drain is adjacent to or under the side of the road which is is supposed to have the "walkaway" for pedestrian it's covered. You see that mostly in Kigali. Usually only 1 side is prepared for pedestrian even though the other side can be used as well (which can create some road accidents esp those involving motobikes or bicycles) . I guess that was the concept in Kigali due to its landscape. Never been to Gisenyi though

Is Heineken's %70 share of the brewing and soft drinks industry in the country due to Heineken being the parent company of the industry? Also, are these products manufactured for exporting or local consumption purposes or both? I notice that the buildings are modest but at the same time very loud due to the different bright colors that they use on them. There's part called mbuga ngali in this city it's big , there mumakoro also big , there's mukizungu , this city is big , if you saw this video you can think this city is populated by 20000 but not like that, it's up to 200000 population , so sometime videos can't describe things as it is.

Now, with the technical revolution, automation and AI there is going to be less requirements of human labor for production and more time and energy available for recreation. Always makes me wonder why the storm water drains are open on the road's side. Don't people fall and drive into it?
