- In this video, we will ask five Rwandan women what they think about white people. This is just a fun video, so don't take anything too seriously.
00:00 Introduction
01:10 What do you think about white people?
04:13 What are the cultural differences?
06:34 How are whites treated in Rwanda?
09:43 Racism?
14:29 Dating
The video I’ve been waiting for, thanks bro. Shout out to the sister in the flower blouse ✊🏾
Great interviews, you are doing some good work. Keep it up! And I love their honesty, and you cant get mad at that. Unfortunately, people in the comment section have, but this is how you learn.
Exactly brother. Thanks!
I guess American men need to keep going to the Philippines, Thailand, Brazil, and other Latina countries! 🤔😂🤣
Right. Black women---who are proud of being black---aren't playing. 💯
@@BearingMySeoul I have some questions: Why are there not a Black women or African dating websites? Why are men from other countries not looking for Black wives? 🤔
@@islammuhammad1198 Because most men have been conditioned to hate dark skin and nappy hair. Because although she is very pretty, most men do not applaud one another for marrying someone who looks like Lupita Nyongo. And because, as I mentioned before, those who have been around black women know that we don't exist to stroke egos. Insecure men, which is quite a few (!), know they will not be at ease with a black woman.
@@islammuhammad1198 I am. I think I'd prefer Afro-Colombian or Afro-Brazilian. African is fine too.
@@islammuhammad1198 another self-loathing "FBA" 😂
African Americans culture is everywhere all over the world 😊
African Americans don't have culture okay? If you want to learn about Black's culture come to Africa 🌍
What I found traveling the world same as in Africa. Is that educated people are much better to deal with. These people have probably never even left Rwanda never mind Africa???
Just because they didn't travel doesn't mean that they are not educated.
@@AfricanTravellerChannel they are being asked questions on a subject 🙄 they are not educated on. Without traveling to the places in question and meeting the people in question. It was all about their perception and they were not educated on the subject 😒
Where are all your documentaries on the South Pacific as stated in your bio?
No one controls what land or culture they're born, so as Martin Luther King has said, judge people by the content of their Character, not by race or something they have no control.
we are all people with a heart and feelings. to me you are all equal
But we’re not equal tbh just facts
I love rowandans what they think about white people, Africa we need to teach our children's what they do to us 🇬🇭🇪🇺
here in america all we hear about is how un safe Africa is
❤️❤️❤️
Wow...TBH this is what divide-and-conquer sounds and looks like. It's not the fault of the people but more the lack of a union. YT folks understand this and that is why the Western currency is strong. When Africa comes together and creates a United Nations of Africa, then we'll see that mindset change. As for Black Americans, we'll continue to get educated, and wealthy, and implement policies that further include us in the American system. I still plan to travel to Africa to experience the culture. I've been to many countries and have not had any problems so far. Good video!
Girl in the stripe shirt is absolutely beautiful.
Not all white people are rich or arrogant.
Not all snakes are poisonous ...... but they are all dangerous. Wake up.
Yo the girl in the white shirt is so lost!!!! She need to do more research instead of watching movies and the news!!!!
No she will just enjoy cats and or dogs as time goes on. We Black people, whether in Africa or the US and the west are too colonized and willie lynched to see those of us who are good men. So lady, enjoy being a nun, but hey in Africa in certain parts, you can have a real cat...one they weights a few hundred pounds. Now that's a pet.
@@WillieFungo It's ok....there a thousands of good men here in America, and as passport bros...they mostly go to Asia....If Africans don't wnat us, not a problem at all. But I see the colonizers have done a good job of brainwashers Both Black Africans, and those in the west.
@@WillieFungothe two women in the pink and flower tops are true to their own understanding and are going to make it wherever they decide to venture. Just always be aware of white people and know you aren’t important to them, because of your skin color.
She is fine and very aware. And I think the state of the black American community validates all her talking points, even though only a small portion is reflected in movies , hip hop music and housewives show
@@dearbrave4183 and if you think that stuff represents the black community as a whole then you’re lost too!!!!
This is a result of western social media, USA New Media, ..etc
I am Ethiopian but I want to go to Rwanda Kigali and if you help me
Question I have is whether some of these women would date another African who is from a different country in Africa? One woman did say that she'd only date Rwandans, just wondering how most would answer this question. Africa is a vast continent with many languages, cultures and customs, I would think there's more to it than mere skin color.
Unless you share the phenotype, they don't even date other Rwandans.
They date people from other African countries like Uganda and Nigeria, but mainly for money.
@@WillieFungo
Barely, imagine a video of neighbors giving their views on Rwandans.
You asked what she thought about white people but for some reason she mentioned Black Americans… very odd and what did Black Americans do to Rwandans for her to not like us?
Because this is part two of a previous interview about black Americans. It was all filmed at the same time.
@@WillieFungo I see. I’m not coming from a place of disrespect I just really want to know why.. appreciate your response
I bet you she never ven met on single BA@@90sBadAssGamer
That's your Pan-Africanism!
We also get black Americans who are very narrow minded and almost racist in their contempt for us!@@rlroark2457
i’m a black american i experience racism, in kenya they treat , even though they know from the US really sad
What did you experience?
Maybe you take yourself as a black American and not a black man. If you are black as you claim, no one is East Africa can treat you deferent, unless if you demand it.
@@ytye That's silly. Africans discriminate against each other all the time. Being black American is much more respected than being African from another country like Nigeria, for example.
12:12 so pretty
Tricky questions when you don't know what to expect.
Braids also existed in the Scandinavian (European) culture centuries ago... Girls, learn, get informed, ylu have prejudice with no solid foundation.
Esau has done a hell of a job separating black folks from black folks! Sad Really!!
The only REAL difference in culture is that Foundational Black AMERICAN culture is copied by the entire planet. We've produced the most iconic international figures in every arena, from: politics, music, sports, entertainment, medicine, inventions....you name it. The whole world watches us to see what we're doing, do what we're doing; just to turn around and tell US that we don't have a culture. Do you know how insulting it is for someone to tell you that you don't have a culture while cosplaying you? We've given the world everything, a little respect is in order. 💪🏿
And just so you all know, we are NOT AFRICAN. Only about 3% of the Africans stolen during the TRANSATLANTIC slave trade were brought to America, most were taken to the Caribbean and elsewhere. There were BLACK indigenous people already here as documented by the earliest European explorers. We are different...all skin folk ain't kin folk.
I find it interesting that Rwandan's give more love and respect to the race that caused the divide between blacks globally than those who share genetic connections. This is evident that the effect of colonization left behind that make blacks give privilege treatment to the oppressor and give mediocre treatment to other blacks.
Victim mindset
poor child w/ white shirt is lost in YT peoples mindset about A.A.😪.
Who created/initiated the Red, Black, White and Yellow People narrative? Why was this narrative created/initiated? Is this narrative correct or incorrect? Should we take another look at the color chart, then determine whether human skin tones match the chart or not? By the way, The People of The Continent multilingual skills are impressive indeed!
Black American people are smart, Beautiful, and Talented.
How did you find english speaking Rwandans?.
It's not hard, you stick to elite areas.
Let me ask you a simple question lady black Americans have a lot of pattern and trademark. What have your country created that is at the Patton office
Alot of africans hve no real knowledge of ytvpeople like african americans do .so we got alot to learn to an average african a yt person is adolised which is very sad but those who knw know
Idolized* my brother , but true Africans worship white ppl probably the biggest difference between us and them. It’s embarrassing to be honest but many of them don’t know any better
First, Black people in the United States should drop the term 'Black American' and pick an African name for the (collective) group, probably KiSwahili on a practical level, e.g., Maboma ('many villages' < Kiswahili). The term African American (or African-American) has more dignity (and more comprehensive richness) by far comparatively, even though having a name w/o the word American in it will be far more beneficial and healthy. However, the "Black American" term does nothing to denote that the associated person is of African origin. In fact, the term "Black American" sounds like someone who is classified as an appendage culturally , ethnically and philosophically to the American, the name that the white colonizers, who founded the eventual United States, gave themselves. As you know, so-called African-Americans collectively emanate from the synergy geo-space of the Senegambia-Congo-Angola tri-node region+Mozambique vicinity+Madagascar; for convenience, I coin this as Kijiji Kikubwa ('big village' in KiSwahili). The basic African tapestry of the United States emanates from the cultural overtones of Congo and KiSwahili as extensions, e.g., gumbo; marimba; Jenga (woodblock games found in stores) and so on. Has everyone in the chat read the following books which expand my comments: Bantu Speaking Heritage of the United States (Vass, 1979); Kongo Across the Waters (Cooksey et al, 2012); UWENZI: The Pan-African Factor, A 21st Century View (Akombo et al, 2016)? If not, please do so. The African culture in the US is based on this geo-ethnic background (as I have earlier stated). Everyone needs an ethno-lingua-cultural reference for themselves which references the 7 major areas of culture: ethos, economics, politics, creative arts, social organization, history and mythology. Put all of the greatest talents, achievements and narratives from past and present under the banner of the new name. Though the group is based in the US, having a home and affiliation in Africa is part of the birthright as well as a conduit for economic and political leverage in a mzungu (white) dominated country (United States). The group should state that they are Africans. This creates proper order. Second, develop an Africa linkage/engagement plan. Multi-level engagement w/ Africa is the basic solution and path forward for African-Americans. Just thinking outside the box by a Bantu passing by.
No. We love the term BLACK won’t ever change it tbh. We have embraced this term wholeheartedly.
@@LosAngelesMade I was saying that BA , not 'Black', is an insult because AMERICAN is the term that the white settlers gave themselves. You certainly would not want to bear the same name as the ones who raped your ancestors and who displayed characteristics like murder, thievery, pedophilism, greed, exploitation, amongst a whole host of bad qualities.
@@LosAngelesMade The term Black is not the critique. BA is a critique because AMERICAN is the term that white people gave themselves as settlers.
@@ufundi1 bro africa is not the original name of Africans, Nigerian was given to Nigerians by the British but they still use it. We are Black Americans my friend.
@@LosAngelesMade I was actually saying to pick/research a group name from the Bantu languages, preferably KiSwahili. BANTU is the core linguistic unit of the Continent.
When asking an AFRICAN, "WHAT'S YOUR CULTURE?" They always say the same thing, "FAMILY" It appears that family is TRIBALISM. Family sounds godly and wholesome but tibalism is the reason most of the countries are in the shape their in. The Nation is more important than the family. That's the difference bewtween Europe and Africa
The difference between Europe and Africa is that most of European ethnic nations fit more neatly into their political borders And this was done through hundreds of years of pacification, assimilation, and linguistic standardization. If you forced the English and Russians to share a country, it would be chaos.
@@WillieFungo In other words Willie, Nationalism. That's where they get the word NAZI from. It did not start with Hitler. It started in the early 19th century. Just as you said, public school and the natonalization of language via communication channels, media. Africa has not figured that out yet. NATION over TRIBE It's propbable with the internet. As we see you doing, nationalizing these countries
One tribe in Africa is bigger than majority of European countries the smallest tribe in Africa has over a million people also one European country speak the same language a lot of this tribe have their own land one point they rule themselves before they became one country had they own kingdom this people were forest to be in the same countries some of them with their own enemy
@@docdolittle5181 Doesn't matter how it happened, at this point. It is what it is. The Africans accepted the dividing lines of the 1889 Berlin Conference. Tribalism is a hindrance and out dated. Tribal markings and dress are no longer respected, the countries are westernized. Westernization started with nation-states That's what colonialism did to the continent. Go with it. Nationalize all of your resources, the way IRAN has done. You can't be TRIBES and a NATION-STATE at the same time. It's either or.
I will be travelin into south Africa and might also in Rwanda. If you like meeting well educated white person with a soul of Africa that like Africa. Will be nice to always find some local people to show the country outside of hotel tourism.
AFRICA. IS FOR AFRICANS
You are welcome! as long as it's not seggs tourism
Thats a tuff question not the colour but the people behimd the colour.much ❤ 🇯🇲🇯🇲👍
and sorry for what our ancestors did. they did crazy things. And I'm ashamed of this.
What a silly thing to say. Are you responsible for what other people do (whom you have never met)?
HELL NO!
Obviously never been to any Western country.
And also how many white people actually live or holiday in Rwanda.
Not many I doubt.
I wouldnt say she is Racist just not knowledgeable
The black man will take out the white man and make the choice easier they already made a movie about it.
Smart answers girls. :)
Next to god??? Wtf 😭🤦🏾♂️
