Wow...TBH this is what divide-and-conquer sounds and looks like. It's not the fault of the people but more the lack of a union. YT folks understand this and that is why the Western currency is strong. When Africa comes together and creates a United Nations of Africa, then we'll see that mindset change. As for Black Americans, we'll continue to get educated, and wealthy, and implement policies that further include us in the American system. I still plan to travel to Africa to experience the culture. I've been to many countries and have not had any problems so far. Good video!

The only REAL difference in culture is that Foundational Black AMERICAN culture is copied by the entire planet. We've produced the most iconic international figures in every arena, from: politics, music, sports, entertainment, medicine, inventions....you name it. The whole world watches us to see what we're doing, do what we're doing; just to turn around and tell US that we don't have a culture. Do you know how insulting it is for someone to tell you that you don't have a culture while cosplaying you? We've given the world everything, a little respect is in order. 💪🏿
And just so you all know, we are NOT AFRICAN. Only about 3% of the Africans stolen during the TRANSATLANTIC slave trade were brought to America, most were taken to the Caribbean and elsewhere. There were BLACK indigenous people already here as documented by the earliest European explorers. We are different...all skin folk ain't kin folk.

I find it interesting that Rwandan's give more love and respect to the race that caused the divide between blacks globally than those who share genetic connections. This is evident that the effect of colonization left behind that make blacks give privilege treatment to the oppressor and give mediocre treatment to other blacks.

First, Black people in the United States should drop the term 'Black American' and pick an African name for the (collective) group, probably KiSwahili on a practical level, e.g., Maboma ('many villages' < Kiswahili). The term African American (or African-American) has more dignity (and more comprehensive richness) by far comparatively, even though having a name w/o the word American in it will be far more beneficial and healthy. However, the "Black American" term does nothing to denote that the associated person is of African origin. In fact, the term "Black American" sounds like someone who is classified as an appendage culturally , ethnically and philosophically to the American, the name that the white colonizers, who founded the eventual United States, gave themselves. As you know, so-called African-Americans collectively emanate from the synergy geo-space of the Senegambia-Congo-Angola tri-node region+Mozambique vicinity+Madagascar; for convenience, I coin this as Kijiji Kikubwa ('big village' in KiSwahili). The basic African tapestry of the United States emanates from the cultural overtones of Congo and KiSwahili as extensions, e.g., gumbo; marimba; Jenga (woodblock games found in stores) and so on. Has everyone in the chat read the following books which expand my comments: Bantu Speaking Heritage of the United States (Vass, 1979); Kongo Across the Waters (Cooksey et al, 2012); UWENZI: The Pan-African Factor, A 21st Century View (Akombo et al, 2016)? If not, please do so. The African culture in the US is based on this geo-ethnic background (as I have earlier stated). Everyone needs an ethno-lingua-cultural reference for themselves which references the 7 major areas of culture: ethos, economics, politics, creative arts, social organization, history and mythology. Put all of the greatest talents, achievements and narratives from past and present under the banner of the new name. Though the group is based in the US, having a home and affiliation in Africa is part of the birthright as well as a conduit for economic and political leverage in a mzungu (white) dominated country (United States). The group should state that they are Africans. This creates proper order. Second, develop an Africa linkage/engagement plan. Multi-level engagement w/ Africa is the basic solution and path forward for African-Americans. Just thinking outside the box by a Bantu passing by.

When asking an AFRICAN, "WHAT'S YOUR CULTURE?" They always say the same thing, "FAMILY" It appears that family is TRIBALISM. The difference between Europe and Africa is that most of European ethnic nations fit more neatly into their political borders And this was done through hundreds of years of pacification, assimilation, and linguistic standardization.
