Got this game 2 Weeks ago and it is how most people (most old people like me) played BF1942 back in the day. We mostly played LAN games with Bots. It feels awesome to just have people running around that are not hyper skilled doing 360 no scopes (i have nothing against that but sometimes you just want to have a chill round)
It looked like that British soldier at 13:00 got blown to smithereens. I do know the team is going to do a gore rework which will bring leg and head dismemberment and possibly show the rib cage and more. As someone who does not commit war crimes in the game, and the ones I do commit are accidents or I'm just testing a map or role playing a country, I found it funny when you would basically go "Hey, a prisoner! Light em' up lads!"
Fewer people are playing Easy Red 2 because very few big creators are promoting it and if they are: its usually 1 video of launch day. When everything is an algorithm, it becomes harder for even the most hidden of gems to break ground. It's a huge shame because this game is immaculate with how historically accurate it is yet how fun it is. AAA publishers lie to us by saying single player games are dead and live service is the way forward. No, its their way forward and hopefully more people come across hidden gem games like this and start realizing this. Me personally I was just too young to experience BF1942 in its prime and started with Medal of Honor and CoD1 on my Dad's office computer, so most of these missions like Pegasus Bridge, Stalingrad, and Monte Cassino come back from all those years ago. Yes there's nostalgia bias, but todays gamers will feel the same when their favorite franchises become casinos on who wins a gunfight and who loses before a sword is swung or a shot is fired.
I think it's because it's either people playing single player or coop in a private server with their friends. It also goes with saying some of us are tired of playing against streamers or toxic sweaties constantly and want a throwback to when gaming was chill.

BF1942 was the best BF. Was a real shame it had to shut down, I'd still be playing it, otherwise.

Fantastic review mate, I love this game. The Normandy DLC is my favorite part, really feels like the old school WW2 shooters from the early 2000s.
