This is nostalgia, I used to play this game so much. Play Warfare 1944 now, WWII game by the same people. It has Sherman tanks, Mortar teams, Officers, Artillery Strikes, everything. Even a Omaha beach landing as the first mission.

A thing this game doesn't tell you Is that every upgrade you get the enemy team get's It too i noticed this whit the gas attack when i got the increased letality wich insta kill, enemy gas also started insta killing as well

I remember playing this game for hours and hours once I found it, was so "advanced" for its day. And thought it was so cool you could basically gain momentum and that it would help you fight

I played this when I was 11 days before highschool, and yep this is the best non FPS ww1 trench combat game out there, so many levels and it also gets extremely difficult, there is one level with only 3 trenches and 2 extremely long no-man's land area, the flame thrower and arty tactics are satisfying here too. Also I think this one is the warfare game that has the punny quote: "Warfare, War isn't fair", or "we don't fight for what's right but for all that's left"
I absolutely want to see more of this. Also I recommend "Warfare 1944", basically the same type of game, just in WW2 and with more some interesting mechanics.
I also would like to see Baron playing a game called "1066". It is also one of those great online games, set in medieval England in.....well 1066AD in time of William the Conqueror's taking of the country. And I swear to God, Baron would like it!

I remember annihilating the enemy army only to then loose because the archers at the end of the map kept saying mean things to my warriors
I used to play this game so many times. I just spawn so many riflemen to camp the trenches and spam mortars over enemy's trench to wear them down.
The only way to win is to kill enough to deplete enemy morale.
Until you unlock tanks, ordering infantries to take over occupied trenches is near impossible.
So just like real life
Just so you know baron there were no good guys or bad guys in ww1, simply men fighting because a few leaders made it happen
Literally everybody knows that. And as opposed to ww2, the germans weren’t bad at all in the first world war, arguably not even their leaders

Used to play this all the time. I think your morale is crashing because your troops are dying to your own gas. That would demoralize me at least.
Its a bug that has been there for ages.
I used to play this and 1944 a lot when I was a kid, these games are responsible for my interest in the history of warfare and history in general

One of the most sore point of this game for me is the landmine.
Those cursed mines can wipe out entire wave if you send 3 teams at once, so you had to send them one by one, and by the time the next team link up with the first, the later would've already sustained casualties against a fully defended trench.
The worst part? Landmines didn’t exist in WW1.
hello varon,You should try a game called trench warfare 1917 :WW1 strategy game,It has a survival mode, special units for each country, a campaign for each country, creative mode, levels created by people online and a very promising sequel in development, all made by simplebit studios
When I was younger, I used to borrow my mom’s Laptop to play video games (because then I used to only have a vtech and those are kinda ass). I found a website that had a ton of games on it, and this was one of the games I’d play all the time. Eventually though I lost the game and I never found it again. Im so glad you played it. I was able to find the game again and relive that nostalgia because of this video.

Man, this was my go-to when we had free time on a computer feom elementary to high school... The memories. This game made me love history. And that's why I must say: There were no "good guys" or "bad guys" in this war... Just pointless bloodshed.

When I couldn't play any game this was the only flash game I played in the past. I was always trying to have every bonus exp by winning every critaries from the board like support used and that why sometimes I lost easily because I didn't use enough support. But I still won the support used critary at the end of the battle LOL.

Edit) baron you can lock the trenches and no one on your team can go in the trench and they skip over it to do it it’s in the thing where you send units out of trenches

the thumbnail on this video has the troops from the game, but the tank & the little base thing I forgot the name of is from a completely different game called trench warfare 1917 it is a small mobile game that recently got a remake :)

Ey Baron, This is a game you can technically win by just sheer numbers. The trick is to let a few minions go over and become jam while you slowly bolster the forces in the trenches. It’s a little difficult and wonky to do. But Repeat until you can’t, then watch a tide of riflemen curb stomp tanks and whatever else is thrown at them.

Hey Baron, i have a suggestion for another ww1 game. It's called Pixel Soldiers: The Great War. It's a fantastic mobile game that's part of a larger strategy series called Pixel Soldiers.
It's a mobile game but it's good.

Yes, I remember that game, I used to play it a lot when I was a kid. One thing though, yesterday I found it again and played for a while I noticed that when gas is thrown, even when the mist disappears, the effect of the gas remains forever. Is that a glitch? Does anyone else have encountered?
