I started wall sits several weeks ago after watching one of your videos. What a burn. I am now up to 40 seconds. My BP did drop. My readings are averaging below 120/80 on most days. Thanks Dr. Story. I look forward to your next video. Have a great weekend!
Thanks for the explanation on isometrics for us beginners. 👍
I will try the wall sits. Thank you for your videos. Really enjoy watching n sharing with others who have a high BP
Dr. Story do you realize you are holding your breath and gritting your teeth? There is also the tensolator and bull worker. Charles Atlas combined isotonic and isometric. Count the breaths slowly on and out and relax after each set. No straining is required. 🎉😂❤
Without shoes? (for wall sits)
Very helpful, I will give it a try, thanks!!
Great!
Device might make it easier to train. Thanks for sharing ☺️
I've been doing wall sits and planks for a while. Just started isometic exercises with dumbells. It's a gamechanger. I feel like I can hurt myself lifting weights but feel less likely with isometic exercises. Love doing them, and it does lower my blood pressure, especially in the morning when I wake up. It seems dangerous to sleep. My blood pressure and blood glucose are elevated in the morning simply by sleeping. I don't understand the process. Maybe the doc could explain.
Thank you very much.
You are welcome!
I would continue breathing in and out rhymically and not hold the breath. Long exhale as in yoga which benefits the BP🎉😂❤
I wasn't doing yoga. It was a maximum, life threatening, all out effort for 6 seconds.
Dr Story .....Will I get those tan lines 👀👀 with these exercises?
@@sanchez4500 nope. Those are only earned by cycling.
They say theres no muscle sorness but I definitely get muscle sorness after my overcoming isometrics days
2 minutes on, 2 minutes off. 4 times.
What about the hand squeeze devices??
Here's a video about that: ua-cam.com/video/nI8yhOK3ucQ/v-deo.html
