Rockin' Robin (tweet tweet tweet) All the little birdies down Jay Bird Street love to hear the Robin go Tweet Tweet Tweet ☺️. That's the song you're thinking of, and I never ever would have heard the similarities between the two songs until you mentioned it, but... you're right👍☺️. I absolutely am obsessed with Elvis, but as a kid walking to school for some reason I I would always sing Rockin' Robin. Maybe because of the simplicity of it, I don't know, but only right now did I ever hear the comparison within the two songs thanks to you!!👍☺️. Trippy to say the least.

Another great song from the film is You're so Square... at this point, his character is successful. The film finishes with a beautiful love song Young & Beautiful. Check out songs from the King Creole film, too. So many to choose from later on - Gospel, rock, ballads.. particularly love. Always on my Mind, The Wonder of You, Kentucky Rain, enjoy your journey discovering why he is the greatest. He also made sure he worked with the best from his male & female backing singers to the orchestra via his band of legends... James Burton, Ronnie Tutt, Glen Hardin....

"Rockin' Robin" by Bobby Day is the song you're thinking of. And the Hand Jive is the clapping game, also a song about it.
There's a great scene from the movie "Grease" where everyone's doing the Hand Jive at a high school dance.
I'd like to see you react to the two Official trailers for the new Elvis movie coming out later this month. They're about 3 minutes each & a lot of popular reaction channels have been doing them. You could do them separately or even do both in one video.
There's so much excitement about this new film. Elvis still has a huge fanbase & the movie will create a new wave of fandom with younger people too. It's gonna be great!💙☮

How Great Thou Art from 77, six weeks before he died. “Hurt” from same concert. His last performance he sings “ Unchained Melody” from same concert. It’s unreal the strength of his vocals with a few weeks to live.

Artists didn’t do videos back then. This is a scene from his 3rd movie Jailhouse Rock. In the movie he was an aspiring singer who served a jail sentence, where he was cell mates with an older country singer, who had a guitar in his cell. This scene is after his release, when Elvis character is more popular a singer, and is telling the TV audience about his time in jail. It was 1957, and Elvis was 22. He did 31 movies in the 50s and 60s. His 1968 Comeback Special on TV was the most watched show of 1968. Elvis decided to quit doing movies, which were getting rather silly, and spent the rest of his life performing in Vegas and touring. In 1973, Elvis did the 1st concert televised by satellite, which was watched by over a billion people Worldwide.

All the Little Birdies on Jaybird Street
Love to hear the robin go tweet tweet tweet
    Rocky Robin, tweet Tweedle lee
    Rocky Robin tweet-a-leet
All little birds on Jaybird Street love to hear the Robin go tweet tweet tweet
Momma's in the kitchen stirring that Rice
Daddy's at the corner shooting that dice
Brothers in jail raising hell Sister's out selling fruit cocktail
Rocky Robin all little birds on Jaybird Street love to hear the robin go tweet tweet tweet"
Singing this while keeping rhythm with hands... fun times.

This may be hard to imagine but this song came out in 1957 and back then not everybody or I should say a lot of people didn't even have televisions yet so most music was heard on AM stations and you couldn't tell by the name of the group or the sound who it was or who they were so music back then was not black or white it was either good or bad and a lot of surprises came along once television became more popular

Elvis was the best friend i ever had in my entire life. we met when i was very young but our friendship lasted past that one day in time. 10 yrs to be exact up until his death i asked nothing of him he asked nothing from me except friendship without Elvis i don't know where i would be today. All the memories of my friend are tucked safe in my heart forever. Watching him dancing and singing in video's on youtube breaks my heart because i know he is not here anymore my mind understands but my heart never will, i saw him a few weeks before he passed we had a short conversation which i will never share again because people are so nasty and comment hurtful heart breaking things they do not know me but they still can't keep their mouths closed about things they know nothing about. Awesome reaction love from the one and only Memphis Tn..

But I'm pretty sure the song that the game was based on was Rockin' Robin by Bobby Day, who was around during Elvis's time. Maybe you could check that one out just for fun.
