As a nice bonus, they gave me 1 free hour of indoor range time with the purchase. I'm already loving my new Sig. Your review was instrumental in my decision to purchase it. Thanks again.
I bought the P365 (with a Sig Lima365 laser) almost 2 years ago for pocket EDC (as a 12+1) in a DeSantis SuperFly holster, and it's been great. Then I added a Magguts +2 extender kit, so I was carrying 14+1, with a clunky 15 rounder in my back pocket on a NeoMag holder. But recently I decided it could all be improved, so (since I was always using just 12 (or larger) round mags, I bought the P365XL grip module, Sig flat trigger, Zev Z365 extended Mag release, and a Nightstick combo light/laser, and a slightly larger SuperFly holster. Then I converted my P365 12 round mags to P365XL 12 rounders (and thanks to Sig for sending free flush plates, since I bought the 12 rounders before there was the XL grip module and included flush plates with the 12 rounders), did the same to the 15 rounder (with the included shorter sleeve), but bought another Magguts +2 for my back pocket (since the 15 rounder is too long), and a new flush plate for the old extender (since it's different for the P365). I'm now carrying a total of 29 rounds with a much better grip module, because of both the larger beaver tail, slight mag well, and absence of the split in the handle from using the 12 rounders with a sleeve (so no more pinching when changing mags). A much better overall experience, at a cost of less that $300 for all of the newly added 7 items (not including the 6 floor plates). Perhaps it sounds like a lot, but getting any items for the P365X/XL isn't ever cheap, so 7 will be of an investment. Oh, and I now carry Underwood's 90 gr. Xtreme Defenders, which are about the only ammo that works consistently well out of the P365's short barrel--far better than even the best JHP's because they're barrier blind, but great at doing what needs to be done to end a threat.

If your P365 or P365XL came without a manual safety you can add it yourself if you want to. You just need to buy the safety lever, spring and detent, and cut the notches in your grip module. Costs around $50 and takes about a half an hour to do if you're mechanically inclined.
Just bought this exact package about a month ago. Love it! Have only put about 300 rounds through it so far, but it feels great, and works like a champ. Looking to get a 365XL for my next gun.

The best bet (which is what I'm doing) is to just get the X model and the standard grip module, then you practically have both guns. Unless you want that insignificant increase in velocity or a better sight radius it's a no brainer to me
Just bought this from NWarmory 5 mins ago, and stumbled upon this video. I love my p938 so we’ll see if this takes its place or not. Chances are pretty good, asked my LGS what they thought and all 3 working there had the 365 as their edc.

I installed the Vuurstapin steel enhanced mag release button and it fits and works great! That is my only mod so far and I love this pistol. Would recomend to all.
I stopped by the shop and found one for sale at 650. They also had the normal one for 600. It’s really an obvious pick. If anything another 50 bucks is the price for a third magazine by itself.
I thought this TacPac would come with the XL grip in addition to the Normal P365. So if you wanted to switch your grips from Micro to XL you could all in one package. 3 mags and a holster is cool buuuut....
A all in one package could be really cool. It may have been because the standard 12rd mags don’t fit in the XL grip module without modifying the base pad or buying the XL compatible mags.
No one talks much about the tacpac holster that comes with it, but it's absolutely a bad holster. The gun wiggles inside the holster, the plastic belt clips aren't reliable, and the holster is an inch longer than the barrel like to fit the XL version.
That’s a great confirmation. A lot of people have swapped the grip module to the XL. So much so I think Sig took notice and hence came out with the P365 “X”.
Is the holster ambi? I’m left handed. I rented a Hellcat at a local range and didn’t like it. I switched it for a P 365 and loved it. Update. I went out and bought a P 365 Tacpac today.

I have had the same problem. Finally got the 12th round in but the slide will not go all the way back to chamber a round. But will chamber if its held open on the slide lock before hand
I purchased this set should be picking up today. I have been scouring the internet looking at reviews of the Sig P365 SAS. It’s really been a mixed bag of pros and cons. I almost got cold feet but I’m going to take it and master that sight system.
I Personally like the sight. I know it’s a love or hate type of thing. It’s not a precision or target sight in my opinion but it’s quick for center mass at 10 yards. When you get it and put some rounds down range let us know how you’re liking it. Also if you find the takedown and slide lock release levers are too small you can order the regular p365 replacements for them separately from Sig.

Yeah finding who has the non manual/manual safety versions in stock is hit as miss. In regards to the new p365 I’m gonna have a review of the p365 X soon. I like it a lot so far.
.. personally I chose the Hellcat over the Sig ...for grip , I like the sites better..and it holds a wee more ammo ....in saying all of this ..I'll probably get a P365 also ...it IS a really good dependable micro carry also ....good video 👍

Yes indeed. I think buying the manual safely lever and a new grip module with the safety cut-out is a much better way to go. Especially at this time since P365 in general are hard to find versus buying a whole new gun if you already own the p365 and you’re looking for one with a manual safety.
11:17 he just said apart from the external safety there is no safety. That is incorrect and to me loses credibility for his opinion on the matter. This is a modern day striker fire with multiple internal safeties. Taking away the need for a “Manuel” safety. But they provide it for those that want that extra safety. The comment seems quite ignorant.
Keep an eye on their website and if you haven’t signed up for their email list that’s not a bad idea. I know they get them in and when they do snatch one up.

Why do you bang the magnum with the heal of you hand - there is not much to pushing it in as it’s just a 9mm and not too much tension when mags are broken in. If you have to load a mag that I’d not full (less than 12 rounds etc) you have a chance to spin a round within the mag. It’s happened to me with Sig 226 when practicing with tact drills where you strip a mag out to purposely clear a malfunction and reinstall a mag that not fully loaded. Just my opinion

I agree they’re a little pricey. You might be able to trade someone a 12rd mag for a 10rd or find a 10rd on a local forum someone is trying to sell if they run 12rd mags day to day.
I’ve bought three sigs in recent years and hated all of them, I tried to jump on the sig bandwagon and I wanted to like them but for me I didn’t jive with any of them... needless to say I sold them to buy other guns that I liked and still like

I'm a rookie so sorry if this is a strange question. When you focus on the target (assuming you're right handed) do you hold the gun / sights dead middle of both your hands? (That's how it looks on the video but could be camera angle) OR do you try to align the slide with your right forearm?? I'm told aligning with my forearm improves accuracy but I cant seem to replicate that. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks.
I think there can be truth to both. If it’s competitive style of shooting you’re doing in a controlled environment I would go with a posture that provides less movement which can be aligning the pistol with your forearm and in a way locking you joints. If the environment your training for requires you to be in a more agile / athletic posture I align the sights more in the middle of my stance and push it forward from the center of my chest. Hope my input helps. I think with practice both can feel natural but I think there’s pros and cons to both.
@@jamiecollett8840 yes but it makes it harder to conceal with the 12 rd mags. Wish they wouldn’t added a flush + 10 with pinky extension and one 13 rd mag. But no sig just wants you to have to spend another $100 if you want the flush and the pinky extension
As long as u have a good holster, no real need for a safety if your trained the right way. Shouldn't be carrying woit a holster anyway...if u carry wout a holster, get the sig model w thumb safety so u do accidently shoot urself and or someone else...even then I've hear if negligent discharges even w safety is on woit a holster...

Is 365 Tacpac really that great of a deal ? You said we get $150.00 worth of 12rd Magazines with this package, (not so) you only get ONE extra $50.00 mag with Tacpac. The 10rd mags cost the same as the 12rd mags, I got the P365 with TWO 10rd mags for under $500.00 then got TWO 12rd mags for an extra $100.00, the tacpac cost $600.00 with only 3 mags I got 4 mags for the same price GO FIGURE
I have extremely low set thumbs the 365 was way to short front to back on the grip the hellcat was a better fit for me I enjoy either one but if you have chimp feet for hands the hellcat might fit better

It's a curse and a blessing it lets me shoot pistols that are larger size with a medium sized hand very comfortably like desert eagle are a decent fit even glock 19s are cramped lol # build for the chimp feet for hands

The .40 tends to have more pop so I would recommend something with a good size grip and mass enough to help absorb the pop and felt recoil. If price wasn’t a option I would choose the M&P40 performance Center M2.0 4.25” ported barrel and slide with high viz sights model number 11823. Let me know your thoughts.

Every tacpac I’ve seen has a safety, picked mine up yesterday and no safety.

Awesome review. However, the holster is the worst IWB holster I ever used.

The gun at retail is $500 so $650 is the price you’d pay for the extra mags and a free holster. Still a good deal.

Yea I’ve heard nothing but bad things about the holster. It’s basically useless and most of the people that got one have replaced it

Is the holster ambi? I’m left handed. I rented a Hellcat at a local range and didn’t like it. I switched it for a P 365 and loved it.
Update. I went out and bought a P 365 Tacpac today.

The holster is ambi, but I’m having issues with the iwb option not gripping my belt properly, but I don’t appendix carry either.

I have a p365XL with Romeo zero with the metal shroud. With the safety as well
Just picked it up yesterday and love it. I can't seem to get the 12th round in any of the magazines. Any thoughts?
Great to hear! The springs are super tight when new and I would use a Speed loaded to help with the 12th round. It will eventually relax a bit.

I have had the same problem. Finally got the 12th round in but the slide will not go all the way back to chamber a round. But will chamber if its held open on the slide lock before hand
@@tikimurtaugh4919 I always use an Uplula loader to load mine P365 mags. It solves the problem.
I purchased this set should be picking up today. I have been scouring the internet looking at reviews of the Sig P365 SAS. It’s really been a mixed bag of pros and cons. I almost got cold feet but I’m going to take it and master that sight system.
I Personally like the sight. I know it’s a love or hate type of thing. It’s not a precision or target sight in my opinion but it’s quick for center mass at 10 yards. When you get it and put some rounds down range let us know how you’re liking it.
Also if you find the takedown and slide lock release levers are too small you can order the regular p365 replacements for them separately from Sig.
I have watched several reviews on the 365...this is the only one where I have wondered How does he get his hair like that?

365 now has optic cut and sig has the full slide with the optic installed for sale.
Yeah finding who has the non manual/manual safety versions in stock is hit as miss. In regards to the new p365 I’m gonna have a review of the p365 X soon. I like it a lot so far.

.. personally I chose the Hellcat over the Sig ...for grip , I like the sites better..and it holds a wee more ammo ....in saying all of this ..I'll probably get a P365 also ...it IS a really good dependable micro carry also ....good video 👍

Yes indeed. I think buying the manual safely lever and a new grip module with the safety cut-out is a much better way to go. Especially at this time since P365 in general are hard to find versus buying a whole new gun if you already own the p365 and you’re looking for one with a manual safety.
The tac pac is a better deal just because of the magazines, the holster is literally throw away trash (which should be expected
11:17 he just said apart from the external safety there is no safety. That is incorrect and to me loses credibility for his opinion on the matter. This is a modern day striker fire with multiple internal safeties. Taking away the need for a “Manuel” safety. But they provide it for those that want that extra safety. The comment seems quite ignorant.
Unfortunately, NWArmory does not list this as being available on their website.
Keep an eye on their website and if you haven’t signed up for their email list that’s not a bad idea. I know they get them in and when they do snatch one up.

Why do you bang the magnum with the heal of you hand - there is not much to pushing it in as it’s just a 9mm and not too much tension when mags are broken in. If you have to load a mag that I’d not full (less than 12 rounds etc) you have a chance to spin a round within the mag. It’s happened to me with Sig 226 when practicing with tact drills where you strip a mag out to purposely clear a malfunction and reinstall a mag that not fully loaded. Just my opinion

I agree they’re a little pricey. You might be able to trade someone a 12rd mag for a 10rd or find a 10rd on a local forum someone is trying to sell if they run 12rd mags day to day.

I'm a rookie so sorry if this is a strange question. When you focus on the target (assuming you're right handed) do you hold the gun / sights dead middle of both your hands? (That's how it looks on the video but could be camera angle) OR do you try to align the slide with your right forearm?? I'm told aligning with my forearm improves accuracy but I cant seem to replicate that. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks.
I think there can be truth to both. If it’s competitive style of shooting you’re doing in a controlled environment I would go with a posture that provides less movement which can be aligning the pistol with your forearm and in a way locking you joints.
If the environment your training for requires you to be in a more agile / athletic posture I align the sights more in the middle of my stance and push it forward from the center of my chest.
Hope my input helps. I think with practice both can feel natural but I think there’s pros and cons to both.

Yes! The tac-pac is a great was to buy the p365. Comes with quite a bit of stuff for the money.
More like 1 free mag (because it normally has 2 mags in the box), and a holster but still nice.
BUT... It normally ships with a flush fit 10 and pinky extension 10 so to get 3 12's you'd have to buy them at 50 bucks each. Just sayin.
@@jamiecollett8840 yes but it makes it harder to conceal with the 12 rd mags. Wish they wouldn’t added a flush + 10 with pinky extension and one 13 rd mag. But no sig just wants you to have to spend another $100 if you want the flush and the pinky extension

As long as u have a good holster, no real need for a safety if your trained the right way. Shouldn't be carrying woit a holster anyway...if u carry wout a holster, get the sig model w thumb safety so u do accidently shoot urself and or someone else...even then I've hear if negligent discharges even w safety is on woit a holster...

Is 365 Tacpac really that great of a deal ?
You said we get $150.00 worth of 12rd Magazines with this package, (not so) you only get ONE extra $50.00 mag with Tacpac.
The 10rd mags cost the same as the 12rd mags, I got the P365 with TWO 10rd mags for under $500.00 then got TWO 12rd mags for an extra $100.00, the tacpac cost $600.00 with only 3 mags I got 4 mags for the same price GO FIGURE

I have extremely low set thumbs the 365 was way to short front to back on the grip the hellcat was a better fit for me I enjoy either one but if you have chimp feet for hands the hellcat might fit better

It's a curse and a blessing it lets me shoot pistols that are larger size with a medium sized hand very comfortably like desert eagle are a decent fit even glock 19s are cramped lol # build for the chimp feet for hands

What 40 s&w model would you recommend for concealed carry?

The .40 tends to have more pop so I would recommend something with a good size grip and mass enough to help absorb the pop and felt recoil. If price wasn’t a option I would choose the M&P40 performance Center M2.0 4.25” ported barrel and slide with high viz sights model number 11823. Let me know your thoughts.

I came hear to learn about guns but all I can do is stare at this guy’s ridiculous cowlick. He purposely styled his hair into a half fauxhawk, half car salesman, all cowlick, and then went in front of a camera. When your hair style is “I have a good credit score and 401k” in the front and “I still listen to Arena metal” in the back.
