This was pretty wild to watch. I got the base E3 about a year ago on a gamble as I was in the market for a nicer but not crazy expensive chair. The one I received came with two left arms and the company sent out a whole second chair and told me to keep the original. I was just looking for an arm, lol. So I gave the new one to a friend since the second left arm is actually surprisingly perfectly fine. We both really love it despite effectively being 50% off.
AYYY ! That's a pretty good deal though! I was going to include the customer service in the review because someone broke the lumbar support by pushing way to hard and other company replaced the entire chair for free, but the company didn't want to make any promises.

Coming from that horrible leather IKEA chair myself, a good ergonomic chair definitely makes a huge difference! And I recently was forced to switch to a gaming chair temporarily due to um... rellocation. It's awful!

I got an Amazon Brand - Umi Desk Chair Ergonomic Office Chair for £135 and its still serving me well 18 months later (just checked, it's now £220...)
I totally agree with you. If you want a "gaming" (race car style) chair go Recaro, otherwise most ergo office chair have way better design and brand reputation. Most brands making gaming chairs aren't even chair companies they just ask 3rt party manufacturers to build one for them. Most well established brands don't need to build to others cause they business is model it's ok. So when you buy gaming chairs your buying from a manufacturer that couldn't survive making is own products and have to produce for computer brands, so in the best possible scenario your buying the best chair a cheap not successful company could offer. While there's a lot of office chair brands with years of development and mistakes made, that simply have way more experience and they study the human body to provide a healthy experience for full time office employees. Few gaming brands do that. You can extrapolate this to earphones with sound brands against gaming ones.
I got a chair that the wheels turn my floor black I try to remove it by polishing but the floor start to loose the original red color, so yeah the floor is black now.
You can buy in-line roller skates wheels for chairs from silicone and with bearings. If your cheap plastic wheels start to melt in the floor please consider to upgrade your chair wheels. They gona be cheaper than replace floor. Or just put brake dance fake wood floor between your chair and the floor.
There's no recline? Even the amazon ad shows only 115 degree's which is basically nothing.

update on the chair. I freaking love this thing, I got the upgraded version b/c I wanted it all black. its the best desk chair i've owned... even better then the gushy lazy boy I had a while back. Tip my hat to you sir! (even if i don't wear one) :P
If you live where I do in Canada Secret Labs doesn't consider a part of Canada they can ship too 🤣🤣🤣
There's a lot of good quality brands out there, you can check for Recaro, OMP or Sparco if you want a racing car style seat. There are a little bit expensive, specially Recaro, but this guys build seats for Ferrari, Porsche... Not for the "affordable" ones, they also design top of the line GT3 RS, for example.
So for the money Secret Labs (2014 founded company) ask you for a chair... To be honest, I prefer the cheapest car brand chair but a brand making seats from 911 since the 80's than a new brand trying to enter the gaming market to sell trending topic gaming products. I don't know much about Secret Labs quality but I trust more the brands I mentioned before if I have to buy blindly. You can pay more but they have chairs for the same price of Secret Labs as well.
For me they're like Corsair on PSU, yeah they're popular and mainstream cause the marketing. But there's I don't understand people giving them the reputation of Seasonic (since 80's) or Super Flower (since 90's). I don't think it's fair.
I believe new companies doing good products, Xiaomi is one of them. I keep tracking them since the mi3, BMW m3 speakers on the phone, best snapdragon chip, Philips double led for flash, one the best Sony Cmos sensor for camera.... And they still sell it affordable. That's why now they're on that position on the market.
But enter the game 20 years later and define yourself as top tier by the price they put, ignoring well established brands simply cause people doesn't know about them... Doesn't draw attention, makes me feel like a pre-built pc company. Main target it's people doesn't know nothing about premium chairs and they do it by spaming on youtube/twitch channels. Like 7.1 gaming heatphones for more money than Sennheiser, AKG, Marshall, Beyerdynamic.... It's like yeah 7.1 on 2 speakers based earphones? The 7 means 7 speakers specifically oriented, doesn't count if you got all of them in front of you and the .1 stands for a subwofer 🤣😂🤣😂. So whe got fake 3d audio, by the way this is on every single game engine way before Counter Strike 1.6, so you don't need it. But on top of that they're USB, so they have a sound card in side the earphones. One way worst that the existing Realtek one in your motherboard.
That's the honest truth about what I think about brands like Secret Labs, oportunistic and burning money in marketing cause they don't have to spend on design or innovation.
@@rubenmartin7759 I'd heard various reports those racing style bucket seats that everyone clones are actually horrendous for the back. Why I thought I'd branch out look for one that everyone company has just slapped there logo on.
But most these places don't consider where I live as "Canada" lol so I'm stuck with whatever is available at Staples.

Compared to the Herman Miller Aero, which one is better
Aero is miles more comfortable, but way more expensive!

How is the seating compared to the Ikea Markus chair? The Markus is quite comfortable and the Hbada has a mesh seating. Can you describe the difference in your experience?
IMO WAY Better for Ergo. I had a Markus for like 6 years an d my main complaint is the darn non-adjustability. Cant move the arm rests at all, they're hard and rubbery, they mangled my elbow skin and thee support for it protrude too far forward IMO. Only thing I like about the Markus is that the headrest is nice and flat. The Markus isn't bad, I just wouldn't keep it for more than 3 years.
@@BootSequence Thank you for the reply. But I'm curious to the comfort level of the seat. The Markus has some foam and the Hbada has a mesh seating. I can't imagine mesh being more comfortable than foam for the cushioning part of the chair.
I have a Vartan chair and it is from Staples. Cost about $350 and is shaped similar to a racing seat, with (removable) head pad and lumbar support. As far as comfort goes. Many times I have put my feet up on the desk and went to sleep.
But if it costs $300+ the experience better be good. ; )
It was good for me. Honestly, find the chair that straightens you best is what I learned from a year of physio!

man i'm jealous, contemplating between importing steelchair or x-chair or buying local from "amplechairs"
i am checking out this chair because of the mesh seat, i had a gaming chair before with leather, from all the sweating getting wet then dry and the salt, the leather got cracks everywhere and over time it hardened around the edges of the cracks which make it feel like you sitting on knifes, impossible to sit on without pillow, eventually the leather started to peel off, at that point i got rid of the chair. Now i have my doubts about the durability of the mesh seat if its stretches over time that's expected but that should take few years for this amount of money i would have to invest to get it in Europe.
Gonna put the base and back together with the back on the floor.

So how's this chair doing after 6 months
doing great actually. I relaxed the lumbar support a little though. keep in mind, this chair keeps you pinned in a regular sitting position. sideways slouching isnt too comfortable.

@@BootSequence My problem was related to sitting on my tailbone for hours in my teens and twenties. As for the so called consensus u bringed on the table lad - it depends on who payed for someones review. There is a tendency to shun ppl with other opinions, hiding scared behind a group and I'm sick of it. There are ton of BS regarding both gaming and ergo office chairs. On one channel office chair lover told "u are lucky to get 3+ years out of a dxracer and that repairs are not worth the money and parts are not easly accesible" while my chair was made in 2012, is used about 10h/day, was bought by myself second hand with wrecked upholstery, squeking mech, worn wheels, broken bearing and seal. DIY job, with parts, materials and chair itself cost me about 40 USD and 1 day of labor. U see subscribers count does not mean you are smart, it means ppl like to watch u doing stuff even if it's like I mentioned earlier - talking BS. In my experience gaming chairs are not bad, chairs that are poorly made are bad, and what is most important I think - chair needs to fit the user, not the smartypants on the internet.

375 right now. I think its worth it after many 150$ staples chairs and a 300$ Markus chair. Its even better than my X-chair at work.

I got my chair from Staples years ago that looks almost exactly like this minus the foot rest for like $200. It's even on sale right now for $150 search for "Union & Scale FlexFit Dexley Mesh Task Chair"
