Good video. You need security to protect your life and possessions, take no chances. Years ago I bought a discontinued Lorex Baby Cam to monitor animals (long story). It was on special at a store here in Canada. The battery was no good but Lorex sent me a brand new one no problem even though it was discontinued and all was fine. Two years later I upgraded and bought two $600 systems from Lorex. Each set is two bullet type cameras and one tablet sized monitor. It's a good company, very satisfied with their systems. I have both monitors on right now. The Baby Cam is good when traveling, very portable. I can set it in a hotel room or any place and check things. Good for keeping an eye on your vehicle when you park in risky areas. For people considering the price of a system realize you can reduce your house insurance with some companies and that eventually pays for itself. Ok Jim Out, ha.
You can also see the registration plate useful for porch thieves here in America. My Ip camera sometimes loses connection and doesn’t store footage to the server. The hard drive is totally useful.
While I know your post is 11month old. I don't know why people are still behind times..... IP cameras are going and only good for Toys.... People banked on the idea that IP was the wave of the future and I can tell you that 4K over BNC is 100000000000000000% better then IP ever will be. Main reason is you don't have to worry about setting up IP on your NETWORK for each Cameras, Don't have to worry about the Lag that it can do to your Network. With a HD DVR system you have 1 Ip adderss to ever deal with. Everything that this system can do My old CVBS system from 2010 can do and then some. I have 37x box cameras and 37x PTZ that would have been able to see the Hair between that passengers tooth. On my TVI system that is only 1080 and came out around time IP HD was taking off. I have Motorized Zoom VF, Audio over 1 cable, So not only does the picture and audio come over the 1 RG59 but so does the controls of the camera.... Where people were talking about IP being much better because only need 1 cable for Power and Picture.... .... Well while I don't have a 4k CVI system yet. I did just help a friend setup his Amcrest 4k DVR with 8 cameras. Sure we only took out his old cameras that he had been running that was 480 to 550tvl.. Turned everything off, Took down and installed new cameras only 6 were running before so we ran 2 more cables took all in all about 1.5 hours. Removed old DVR, Set in new dvr, Plugged in everything, Turned on cameras, Turned on DVR, When screen came up to do setup wizard you could see alll 8 Cameras already running. DL new system Firmware installed. Formatted the included 4tb HDD and went to tweaking the picture to ensure all the best picture of area to cover. In all system was setup and running 100% able to walk away knowing he could get notices on his phone able to view from his office or at home and safe and happy in 5 hours. Had it been that he had to run all new cables for IP it could have taken a couple of days... Also one thing you can not do with your IP camera. His cabin is 1500ft away from his house he has the 2 cables running above ground right now but has both cameras from the cabin to his house no extra hardware other then the PVC Splice covers I made for him so when he put underground they stay dry. Last 50ft put in Siamese cable and power supply from cabin so didn't have to take power all the way from house.... Couldn't do that with your IP cameas... 300ft or little over 300ft is max over cat 5 without repeaters and costly hardware.... IP is great for 1 or 2 cameras Great then you can add them to your NEW HDCVI 4k system as well. @The Truth, You wouldn't have to worry about loss of connection and footage being missed. Also remember to set your IP cameras to STATIC IP... Or it could be in a different spot iin your NVR next time your system restarts... DVR where yo uput your cameras is where they stay... I do have a couple of IP cameras. Just enough to know IP cameras STINK and I have them now going to my TVI DVR. My TVI cameras never loose footage but the IP cameras do all the time....
If you select the two bullet cameras go to the PTZ setting then press zoom it will move the lens of each camera to optically zoom in not digitally zoom. Here you will keep the clarity of the image
Timeline 13:04 -13:30....as to night time work. When recorded and you freeze frame, are the freeze frame pics blurred? Also.....could you have gotten license numbers as to resolution capability and especially against headlights nearby? We are considering units that can do this in our area due to petty theft that sometimes happen at night as these guys look for parked cars in people's driveways.
@@BoneTactical ...hmmm,...meaning "yes" the freeze frame pics are blurred but also "yes" you can make out plate numbers?......to be clear I'm thinking the cameras are about 50 ft from the road.
@@BoneTactical ...I watched the video....I even related to the timeframe of the important viewing section. The system we have now when replayed after the fact, ...when freeze-framed, still show the individual blurred pic frames that make up the "motion" picture when replayed at full speed. Your video (AFAIK) does not detail that. I also see the pickup truck and can't tell if you can freeze frame that truck's motion and THEN zoom into the plate so you read it....so ( with all due respect), what does "watch the video" tell me about these questions? Thnx.
Hi I’m from Sydney Australia I’m really liking this 4K security system I am currently using a Swan system which seems nowhere as good as the 4K Lorex. Jst wondering If this Lorex 4K NVR Security System is available in Australia & or IF I purchased it can it be shipped to Australia .??

Quick questions: How close does a vehicle need to be in order to be able to read the license plate with your 4k camera? 30ft? 60ft? More? If your app notifies you that someone is trying to enter your property, can you turn on an alarm from the phone app? Also, does the cam have a speaker that would allow you to talk to someone remotely? I'm considering getting two 8-cam setups. One for my home and the other for a rental property. Can I access both 8-cam setups from the iPhone app simultaneously or would I have to switch between the two? Can you expand the hard drive capacity with an external hard drive or raid?
Nice video thanks. NOD is what I've used with scope on top red dot on side 45° and flash suppressor reduced flame and sound sound not so important but flame reduction the most important part.

Hey Bone. Can you please tell me which Audio settings you used? I am having hard time figuring out which one to select. As far as I know, AAC is the best but somehow AVI files created from NVR doesnt play Audio at all. Also my NVR offers 8k, 16k, 64k etc settings for bit rate for Audio. Tried 64k and it doesnt play audio either..... Any feedback would be appreciated.
