I like the light cause if they don't see the camera it turns in and they naturally look right at the camera and then run. Giving me a very detailed look of that face
This was a great Video, Done ✅ The only problem on your camera that it’s too dark looking at the Fence it’s because the light of the IR it’s shooting at the wall if you move the camera away from the wall you will resolve the issue
I agree, WHITEWASH can be seen on all the samples. Anything that will get highlighted by the camera light will be the focus as it is the “brightest” item. This also includes your front door or porch light. Shut the porch light off and you would see the front of the house better. For best night time results ALWAYS mount cameras facing away from light.
Can you do a playback on a camera before motion at night walking to it for motion , to catch motion and seeing the change on the picture? Can you show how well it pick up quality when the person is at distance?. Please do a playback rather than live.
Nice price no bad better buy good dvr with camara how long can recoring got oready 4 camara got it 1 20 2020 today stop recoring don't know I need good hard drive can recorded mored day don't to much security camara do good video bro thank you know what are hard drive better can recorded lome time can buy it let me know please thank
I have a Lorex system to, but it is so sensitive that when a leaf falls or if it rain's or snow's it would record, just have to figure out how to adjust the sensitivity , great picture quality.
I have installed a few of these but the analog lorax version which has just as good quality versus the IP ones shown here. Analog is less expensive. Their cameras have a great field of view, much better than some of the cameras I have used before.
Analog 2K 30 fps colour night vision clear with motion? I wish I could see someone show what happens. How about 4K 8 K 7 fps vs 15 fps 3 MP or 1080P 30 fps?
Really helpful and informative video! Thank you for not trying to entertain me with failed attempts at being funny. Thats so annoying. Your video was perfect. I'm gonna grab this system from costco pretty soon.
thanks this was very helpful, someone offered to pay me to install these so i wanted some headsup info on the system/app etc. before agreeing,,, nice video,, well done, stayed on topic, and gave out all the NECESSARY info,, and left out the nonsense,, thanks!!!!
Great for this video, Do you have any video about how to connect (wiring)this camera together and with NVR together (also can I cut the wire and reconnect if it's too long or add an extension outside) and how to go inside the house, Do I need to make a hole in the wall or make new plugs ...etc Thank you
Many setup videos are vague but you covered details very well (unboxing, cable-connections, configuration on TV, camera’s display output plus many small details in between). Awesome work, thanks for sharing👍. I am now a pleased subscriber to your channel. I hope you could share some details on how to run Ethernet cables in and out the house especially with a wood frame and stucco, any tips would be greatly appreciated🙏🏻
Really wanted to LOVE this system, but had to return it to Costco after a few days. Costco had the 8 camera package for $650. I had it for 3 days during which time I had to contact Lorex tech support each day for various problems. The last two times their response was just that I needed to do a factory reset to get it working again. Even if I backed up the system configuration to a usb stick, importing that configuration did not restore the settings completely. So after wasting many hours on trying to get this installed and working, back it went to Costco for a full refund.
You did a great review and I'm about to buy one BUT upon further reviews on the google app store, it seems like LOREX app is just horrible, not able to get live feed and playback. How's your experience with it? Did you have the latest app version?
Wanted to also add, if possible get a cheaper 4 camera system and have it on an air gaped NVR or DVR. Basically those can be used to record inside of the home which is highly useful for situations of home invasions, as those act as great exculpatory evidence if faced with a situation where you have no choice but to defend yourself.
you have probably upgraded since then but for the camera on the side that is not as bright you can add a good long lasting solar light and you will be good to go
Glad it helped! Yeah its pretty straight forward. I'll do a follow up video with everything installed and some of the settings I have played with so far!
Did you ever post the install video for the Lorex cameras? Mainly wanting to know how you ran your cables - AND - Was there a power connector on each camera that requires a separate cable?
Does the recorder have to stay ethernet cable-connected to the router? You had mentioned putting the recorder in an inconspicuous place. I'm wondering what kind of limitations that might create... Thanks!
Great survelliance choice! I have this same set with 8 cameras. I've had it for about a month or so. I love the camera quality, the install was a pain but the 24/7 recording is worth it. I upgraded to the max which is a 10 tb HD which I believe will give me over 30 days of 24/7 recording. Have a couple complaints though, one being, the app could be better. Sometimes I'm unable to view all 8 cameras and have to reload some, this could be due to my data speed from my carrier at the time. Another issue/feature I wish it had was I get constant notifications of the same cats and birds which my cams believe is a person. Also Everytime I exit or enter my house I get notifications. I wish there was a way to remember animals/faces and just get notified of new people. That would make this amazing. Would love to hear your thoughts.
I had to mute the app until I figure out how to stop sending me 10 alerts for one person walking past the camera it was getting out of hand. I do like the deterrence lights though and I just silenced the app and instead will just review footage if any incidents cause leaving the alerts on with the app was making me crazy unless you figured that part out?
Great video, I'm thinking about getting these. One question on the motion option, do you have the ability to pick the zone of the motion or does it just detect everything? Thank you in advance.
Curious thing about the Lorex cameras, the little plate on the bottom has two screws and inside is a micro SD memory slot ! I can't find any information about it !
Thank you for an outstanding video.... couple questions of clarification I may have missed; are these cameras IR sensors 'NO GLOW?' Or, do they emit red led's that are visible to intruders when they are detecting motion at night ? Also... can you disable the 'led spotlights' on each camera if desired,.....? Thanks.
Nice review! I'm getting my system installed this weekend. Have you had any visibility issues when it rains? Considering they don't come with a hood and it looks like you didn't have them covered. I'm curious because I'm gonna have at least two cameras exposed.
Nice setup. Will be looking to get a set like this soon! Will be my 3rd camera install and second one that is Lorex. May look into the smart home hub as well. I like the R/T
The majority of 4K 8MP security cameras only record at 15 frames per second. Lorex does have 4K 8MP 30 FPS systems.4K Nocturnal IP NVR System with 16-channel NVR and Eight 4K Smart IP Audio Dome Security Cameras (4KHDIP168IW-2)
This is a great video! However, it'd be even better if you can include footages of human or facial recognition such as the clarity of your face in the recordings during daytime and night time. Thanks!
Question I just got HD Fusion NVR System with 8 Smart Deterrence 4K (8MP) IP Cameras N4K2SD-88WB we don't have wifi yet have to wait 2 weeks before they come install it, we just built the house and we are setting up the cameras can I test it without the wifi, and what Monitor do you recommend getting?, and do I just use the HDMI cable from the monitor to the system box

The Ring door bell camera’s have great reliable motion detection .....nothing can beat them ....but not very good video quality ........the wired Lorex 4K or other wired brands have stellar 4K and 1080p video quality .............all the wired systems have poor motion detection with high false alerts which becomes unreliable.........so I have both systems ....turn off the motion alerts on the wired system & have both of them working together..
Yeah I'm thinking of doing something similar and just not pay for the ring cloud service and if any activity then just hop on the wired IP cameras to see what happened 👍
Nice video and thank you. Look forward to watching more videos about this Lorex camera system. I'm thinking when the deterent leds turned on, did the camera start to switch to color night video?
Question. I currently have Vivint. I have 8 cameras, which is considered over the limit to their standards. I plan on keeping Vivint as far as an alarm system, garage opener, and door opener. I'm basically done with wifi. Mine are POE, however its still a wifi camera system. Does Lorex have a PTZ with auto-trac that can integrate with this system?
Nice video bro and I just got these I set them up I try putting 4K on my monitor to see the difference and the screen just went blank I unplugged it a lot of times just the Lorex logo pops up and after that nothing
Thank you for sharing this with us I need to install cameras in my house I’m new to this I was thinking about the Arlo wireless but if you post the installation video I’ll be able to install the same kit that you just did Can you also let me know what do you think about wireless (arlo) vs wired cameras (lorex) Thank you again for the nice video 👍🏼
I would avoid the wireless ones. They like to be set to 'Motion" only to save battery and sometimes its too late at that point or it doesn't pick it up. These can record 24/7 and you never have to worry about running around changing batteries. Its more work up front but once the wires are run its worth it. Plus if you want to upgrade in the future to a better system you can still use the same network cabling your new cameras and system 💪
Here is the LOREX system in this video

What is the model / SN of the one you got ? Just want to get the same one. Thanks
I just bought this 8 camera system and I love Lorex. It works on my android and I also bought a monitor for my office and 2tb nvr. Thank you
I like the light cause if they don't see the camera it turns in and they naturally look right at the camera and then run. Giving me a very detailed look of that face

Got to love technology. Night quality is amazing.
Yeah these are definitely much better than the Ring cameras I had before! 💪

Do you have an updated review on your thoughts after 3+ months of usage? Thanks in advance.
Great interview. One thing we were turned off by are the lights. Ring Floodlight Camera’s lights are way stronger
Best for Canadian winters, never failed in 5 yrs

I am having issues with my system too. My cameras seem to not have enough power to show up on the screen. Just wondering what your issue was?
650??? Why is it so much more expensive now :(
Gonna pick these up at Costco thank you! If you post the how to install video that would be awesome. Thanks again.
Definitely replacing my arlo ultra with these ASAP thank you
No problem! Been working great for a couple months now 👍
THE GARAGE I bought it, Best Buy had the one that comes with 4 cameras love it...no regrets worth every penny 👌
Can you confirm if the 2 way communication is true? I've heard mixed reviews on it... thanks.
Hey man so I just bought this same system and was wondering if you ever got the wifi adapter for it and if you did which one ???
You did a great review and I'm about to buy one BUT upon further reviews on the google app store, it seems like LOREX app is just horrible, not able to get live feed and playback. How's your experience with it? Did you have the latest app version?
The question can it identify a moving license plate in day and nigh time? It would be great if you could post some sample snapshots.
Thanks for the upload. Do you have any idea on how long those cables are?. Ones that connect from the camera to your recording device.
Does this kit come with cables , which ones and how long they are? Please update the video,,,👍🏽
How did you install the cameras in each corner of the house
Thanks for that explanation one question which one is better for you lorex or reolink
I would like to know how good the detection is. Would it detect a person if they just held an umbrella in front of their body?
Thanks for video. does the NVR generate a lot of heat and is it noisy while running ? Thanks
Great. Want to see an install since I have no experience running wires.
Smart thinking on home invasion scenario. Well done.

Great review! Subscribed. Thanks for mentioning the sale too.
Nice system, thorough introduction!
Thanks Will! I'll update everyone as I use it more but so far so good!
Thanks for the video. My cameras and nvr are on the way. BTW I miss your RAM videos.
Perfect video. I just bought online and going to pick up on Wednesday. Seems a pretty easy install/setup and quality.
Glad it helped! Yeah its pretty straight forward. I'll do a follow up video with everything installed and some of the settings I have played with so far!
Do you still like them?
@armando quezada, 2 years later, how has the security camera worked for you? Hope all is well, have a great day!!
Yes... how has the system been treating you?
Hey nice video How long are the individual camera cables.
HELLO Sir !! Thanks for this reveiw. Maybe i missed it in your video, are all the cameras capable of 2 way talk ?? THANKS SO MUCH
What is the recording frame rate? Do all cameras record at same time or just a few? Can you connect it to record to a NAS?
These video reviews never talk about frame rate. From other information I gathered, I have seen 15 FPS as the default.
If not stated on their website, assume its 15fps or less
The best ones and more expensive record at 30fps
5:15 do you need to connect to Internet just to get the cameras to work??
How long are the standard Cat 6 camera cables supplied?
Did you ever post the install video for the Lorex cameras? Mainly wanting to know how you ran your cables - AND - Was there a power connector on each camera that requires a separate cable?
Just finished editing the video right now. It will be live on the channel tomorrow! 💪
THE GARAGE Thanks - look forward to that!
Pretty sure this is cat5/6 which is PoE. One RJ45 head into each cam and back to the NVR
if you chose ground shipping. how many days it took before you got your package please? thank you
Does the cameras allot you to hear Audio?

@@peliculaspcimpletas2715 What do you mean?
@Scott Luther Nope upgraded 10 tb I get a little over a month of continuous recording 8 cameras without issue.
Do these cameras record at real 4k 30 frames per second?
Great video, I'm thinking about getting these. One question on the motion option, do you have the ability to pick the zone of the motion or does it just detect everything? Thank you in advance.
Yes it does. You can draw out what area you want to detect motion in 👍
So its a 4k camera but can you use a 1080p tv as monitor?
Can you adjust the camera movement (Pan)
Curious thing about the Lorex cameras, the little plate on the bottom has two screws and inside is a micro SD memory slot ! I can't find any information about it !
Great video demo, well done........i was thinking of getting this one, now that is what I will do...

Awesome review. Got the same system but i got some problems with the remote viewing. Delay stream. Can u make a video on the camera setting please?
Yeah for sure! Make sure you're subscribed I'll be making a video soon on my settings with all the cameras setup and after using it for awhile 💪
Is there a way to install audio as well? as an extra
So sad, I wanted to see how you installed the cameras and cable wire management. Great video.
is the Norex hub connected to your router via ethernet or is it connected to your home network via WiFi?
I was looking for a security system now I think I've found one thanks
I wish someone would detail the frame rate of the cameras when you have 8 recording at 4K. Most of the companies are reluctant to publish frame rates.
The majority of 4K 8MP security cameras only record at 15 frames per second. Lorex does have 4K 8MP 30 FPS systems.4K Nocturnal IP NVR System with 16-channel NVR and Eight 4K Smart IP Audio Dome Security Cameras (4KHDIP168IW-2)

Does it use up your internet?
awesome i was just looking at the costco catalog and i saw it but these one is a 6 channel so do you think it has the same features as the 8 channel ?
I think the 6 camera system for less money they now have isn't a NVR system but actually a DVR and has the old school coax cabling setup.
Are you able to set the distance of motion for the lights to come on?
Quick question,do you need a power cable to power on the cameras or with just the cat5 cables that transmits the video? Thanks in advance!:)
Do they rotate and is there subscription to be payed for service?
Hi Is there is two way audio
