Whenever you are travelling and you have a "I think i heard something but im not sure" moment, always take it serious. In my experience, 9/10 times there was an enemy team nearby
100% agree! The amount of times I've thought I heard something and thought "nah it's not another team" and it's been another team and then died is embarrassing haha
What a good video, watching your past mistakes in order to improve, I think it's pretty rare among youtubers to post this type of content and I love it.
Something extremely important to remember as you're mastering reflecting on your own matches: Your performance at 100% in Hunt is as good as all the knowledge, experience and playtime you've accumulated throughout your experience. That is when there's no other variables involved. You should always strive to improve yourself, but not beat yourself up when you make mistakes that "you shouldn't have" or think you've gotten better because of a play you did. I'm referring to uncontrollable variables, with the main example being bad/good days. On a bad day, you might be ignoring your instincts or take too long to register a sound that indicates danger, like 4FS in this video. On a good day, you might seemingly need less effort to be on your guard or land your shots. Your performance fluctuates from day to day and never sits at 100% or any single rate for too long. Understanding this will prevent tilt from thoughts like "this shouldn't be happening" and will help focus on reflecting on the mistakes at hand and what to point out for next time.
I've seen your videos pop up every now and then over the years, but for whatever reason I never subscribed, nor visited your channel with the intent of watching your videos... Its weird to me, because I usually have a high appreciation for highly analytical videos, since I'm the same myself - more often than not ending up overanalyzing everything from the most minor detail, to pretty much drawing parallels to "human nature" and society - that sort of BS... :D Having taken a bit of a break from hunt for about a year, I think I can enjoy your content even more now, getting back into hunt (I hope...) . The reason I left was mostly to do with real-life stuff, combined with some technical issues that I have yet to completely solve, which made it feel like I was playing with a distinct disadvantage VS the competition... A sentiment that lingered in the back of my head and wore on my morale until I finally relented and to my surprise, pretty much stopped playing video games altogether. Anyway, thought I'd ask if you do like a "play with subscribers" event, or whatever, cause I just had a bit of an epiphany: I realized I enjoy watching old recordings of my own gameplay about as much as watching any old UA-cam video, and I think your audience would appreciate watching like-minded individuals play hunt together, so, idk... Just an idea ^^ Doesn't have to be me of course (in fact probably shouldn't be me; I talk way too much), but I think there is a unique phenomenon in the hunt community where you get a more "tight knit", intimate sense of community between creators and their followers. It's like... idk... we're like a big - slightly dysfunctional - family of salty cowboys. It's like you get a sense of belonging that you don't really get from larger communities, and the way the game is designed, encountering people in-game is a very personal experience too. I have about 2500 hours in the game currently and, by pure chance, have met MOST of the popular streamers/youtubers of the game that I'm aware of, including people like Neenoh, Psychoghost, Kerrty, Wizzdome, Rachtaz, Fronkie, Hornet... etc. All of these were more or less dynamic experiences where you simply just play the game and stumble across people who are already "part of your life" in a way, since you're vaguely acquainted through social media/entertainment, or whatever. What other game can you play where you have a decent chance of stumbling across - and interacting - with your favorite streamer, or youtuber? Idk, I think hunt is really special for many reasons and for me it has been nothing short of life-changing, playing it... Speaking of talking too much... This comment started out as one single sentence, before morphing into this monstrosity XD
Nice video! My friends and I recently started playing the game just got to 4* mmr on the Oceania server. Hopefully we will eventually come across you guys one day in match haha
Question- is the a way to know how many ppl spawn into the map? Sometimes it feels like only 3-4 ppl, and I run solo vs teams of 2&3. Rather not run solo but without concise ppl to play with it feels a bit obtuse
Still new player here. I consider getting out alive a win.... 😅 Of course I try for the kills, bounties, etc. but I'm not the best shooter so if I can "Live to die another day" I'm good.
At 5:46 you asked why people use shotguns at that range. Probably about 20m. In the first clip 1:35 you use a shotgun at the same. So ask yourself why you use a shotgun at that range.

4:40 Can tell it's a zombie because of the torch. Happens to the best of us, 4FS.

Terminus/shotgun revisiting would make for a great video, sure to get lots of views. Welcome back, 4fs

Very relatable. Nothing more infuriating than getting shot from behind when you actually "knew" someone was there and ignored it :D
I am way too paranoid
Love your channel. Please keep the videos coming.
Holy shit he's alive
Cheers for the tips! ..yes you always know you could have done something better when you die in this game!

Oh by the way I really enjoy your videos, good work.

Not same ranges imo, cheers
Nvidia shadowplay is excellent for reviewing good and bad encounters.
The video is good
At least I bet it is :D
