  • Jesus promised that all those who follow Him would have abundant life because of His grace. As believers, we believe God is good because He has blessed our lives, and if we choose to go our own way, we'll miss out on His blessings. In this study of Deuteronomy 26-27, we are reminded that faith is the entrance to the blessed life.
This teaching is from our series 05 Deuteronomy - 2015 with Skip Heitzig from Calvary Albuquerque.

Saludos desde Guatemala. Estamos en la semana de conmemoración del Señor Jesús, 2024. La Toráh puede leerse dos veces en el año, la segunda vez termina en la semana de conmemoración del Señor Jesús.

Thanks Pastor Skip - I think you summed these chapters up well when you said God wants us to be blessed - not cursed. And that obedience to God leads to a blessed life but disobedience leads to a cursed life. Simple - but we need God’s Holy Spirit to give us the power to be obedient since our natural self and satan and his demons always bend us towards sin and disobedience. And like you said in other sermons the closer we get to God the bigger the target satan puts on our backs! So we need to spiritually feed on Christ everyday through reading His Word and listening to His Word through faithful servants like you - God bless!

Hi Skip, just a point of information - it is NOT a Palestinian covenant, this is what the Romans called the land after the final revolt in AD 135. The covenant was made with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob so it is really a Hebraic covenant.

The comments are from much time past. I finally got it that Joseph was the son who was taken to Egypt where the Children of Israel spent 300 yrs or more building bricks for Pharoah, in slavery.
