Thanks Pastor Skip - I love that phrase about Moses future death - “gathered to his people”. And your comments that we are really spirits and our bodies are just the means by which we express ourselves and interact with each other and the physical world in this world. “Death” is just the process of shedding these bodies and releasing our spirits from this world.

Thank you so much for todays study Skip, it is truly wonderful to know that God loves us all equally, it is never His intention to have the wicked and evil culture of the Middle Eastern nation attitude toward women. I think that was also clear in Genesis, although as Believers we are to submit to our Godly husbands, this does not mean we are in any way inferior to them or them to us!
Another great sermon. I like to think that it's not that God waited for the daughters to seek what they wanted, I like to think that other daughters in this situation were afraid to stand up for their needs. The daughters of Zelopehad started a movement. Lol
There is no difference between men and women when it comes to their identity in Christ but there is definitely a distinction in terms of roles within a marriage relationship and within the church. That is well established in Scripture

Moses dies shortly after and never makes it into the promise land. I believe Pastor Skip said it it’s discussed in more detail in the book of Deuteronomy 😊

Hi Joy, what a wonderful name your parents gave you. Have you repented of your sins and accepted the Living Lord Jesus into your heart? You know none of us can change on our own, but if you are truly Born Again you will find that God does indeed change you from within. Talk to Him, spend time in prayer, He understands that you cant do things on your own, none of us can either, He is there to help you, to change you, to make you more like Him every day. Read and study Gods Precious Word, find a Bible believing church, and read and study the Scriptures EVERY day morning and evening. We all have a lot to be sorry about and you can and hopefully are now saved. We cant change ourselves, it is God who changes us from within. Be Blessed!
Joy realize that God deals in futures - not in pasts. He is only interested in your past insofar as forgiving you and cleansing you through the blood of Christ. God placed all our sins on Christ when He was crucified on the cross. Jesus paid the penalty for our sins and through that “atonement” God declares you righteous before Him and begins regenerating you through His holy spirit. It’s a supernatural act of grace. Just begin reading His word - maybe begin with gospel of John in the New Testament. The power is in His word. Read it slowly in small sections and meditate on it. And then look up the UA-cam video where Pastor Skip covers that text to get more understanding of it. Never doubt the love of God - all you have to do is look at the cross and the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. Memorize scripture and let it sink into your subconscious. God will begin a supernatural transformation within you. God bless.
