- This video is from my presentation on Nectar flow Management for the Lawrence/Wayne Beekeepers Association in Lewisberg Tennessee on 9/10/22.
I'm not a natural speaker, I admire those who are, I do enjoy talking bees though. I'd like to say a big thank you to all the people who came out, and to those who organized this event.
Happy birthday and thanks you for making UA-cam videos. I have gained a lot of knowledge by watching your videos. I am a 2 year bee keeper from north east Arkansas, so your videos are very helpful to me.
Thanks for all of the information that you provide beekeepers Gus! Your a valuable source of knowledge and experience! Happy Birthday!

Hi Gus. Good talk and it was nice seeing you there.
Thank you, I thoroughly enjoyed your talks. Especially, the one on old comb.
Great seeing you, I look forward to the next time!
Happy birthday 🎁🎂
It would take a few big boys to deal out Gus's birthday spankings! Happy belated birthday Gus!
Gus is awesome!
Happy Birthday, Gus!! A very informative talk.
Gus thank you for your videos and all the excellent information you provide. I’m 3 years in beekeeping in northern AR and this is the first year I’m seeing an abundance of goldenrod. My hives are 2 boxes deep and I am adding a third box on top with a queen excluder as our flow seems to be strong. From your experience how long does the goldenrod/ fall flow typically last. We haven’t seen rain in a week and a half but the dew has been heavy and the goldenrod is in all stages. Just curious what your thoughts are. I know it’s a hit or miss with the weather and your area is obviously different from mine but just thought I’d ask. Thanks
As long as we have a little heat, when it cools off it’s over
Thank you! Happy belated.
After splitting, how many frames of brood do you leave them for honey production?
3-4
Hahaha, you made it about 10 mins before someone broke your hold your questions til the end rule!
You could have edited me out! 😂
