Lift Gate Project Update

- You may have heard me mention previously about wanting a lift gate or a boom to take some of the workload pulling honey. A boom wasn't a good fit for me right now with the truck I have so I decided to look for a lift gate.
I visited with another beekeeper who had been using a liftgate exactly how I wanted, which really sold me on the idea. So, I picked up a used non-working lift gate, and with a little finagling and a great friend with welding skills the lift gate is on and working great.
Congratulations Gus!!! That will come in handy as you continue to grow!
Thanks for sharing. Good plan for saving your back.
Anything to save the back....yeah!!!!!
Work smarter not harder! Good upgrade Gus. Thanks for sharing.
awesome. so glad you got it up and running so quick. great job.
It will make your life a whole lot easier.
That is going to be sweet. My only thoughts on that is don't try to lift too tall of a stack at one time. Maybe 4 or 5 deeps at a time?? You wouldn't want the supers to tip back. But anything to save the back is sooo important. Great investment Gus.
Very nice!
Glad you got it done, it won't be long before it starts again. I can't think of anything that might help you more except the boom but I would imagine that is pretty expensive
Oh I bet your happy about that.😁
Nice , if you need it to come down more you might be able to adjust the front torsion bars up a little
So great that you got it up an running for the up coming season. Ya we all need to learn ways to work smarter not harder . That is the reason I am in the shape I am in . That will be good for your Drums of honey an if you are in the bee yard an need a work bench that will help also . How wide is your warming cabinet. ??? I was planning on building one but I may have found one like your . ( I hope I can get it ) ???. THANKS
Thanks, It’s a large two door commercial fridge shell, I would have to measure it for you later for a length.
