Hey man, would u mind if you put subtitles? I'm deaf and it's very hard to watch these videos and generated subs can only do so much. Sorry for the inconvenience 😔
Sorry about that :( I normally pay for captions on skits because they're short and popular, but I'll look into doing them for all videos soon. You're not the first to ask, so it shall be done eventually! Thanks for watching!
My motivation for buying cards is nostalgia, just about any card from the GX anime I'd probably pick up and try to put it in one of my decks. Stuff like Magma Neos, rainbow Neos, ultimate ancient gear golem, Super jumbo drillroid.
I'm more of a collector and casual player. But I will say that seeing that this scene is soooo popular and has huge events, it's tempting to get into it hardcore. I'm mainly getting cards out of nostalgia, cards that I wish I've owned but never had the time or money for.
I really like your videos, even though I don't really play the game (I only play the DS games) I still like to see what is going on in the community... Haven't played since GX but this is about the only Yu-Gi-Oh channel I like... Has little skits and things that take me back to when I played... Very nostalgic... Before Yu-Gi-Oh I played Pokemon (I've always loved card games) but currently I play one of the most expensive ones out there even on a budget...MTG
Brian Aguilar where did you find out that it’s going to be in the structure deck because the only cards confirmed are Rapid Trigger, Borreload Dragon, Borreload Furious Dragon, and Topologic Zerovoros. And it would be absolutely pointless to reprint Borrelsword literally a month apart.
As a strict casual player, the most I've ever spent on 1 single card was $70. I did it twice: Borreload and Borrelsword. I also always get singles anyway, but this is a great vid nonetheless
You should have waited. The next structure deck is gonna be revolver theme and it's gonna have borreload. What I did was buy the yusei mega tin and I pulled one
For yugioh I bought 2 starter decks of the transcode talkers and 3 of powercode, thank god when I went to my card store that this guy had a few Cyberse monsters that saved me some money
You're so right Paul. I bought about 7 boosters from Walmart ( cybernetic horizon) and I got crap. I got only one cyber dragon, absolutely no support for cybers and the worst part about it was cards were damaged. Like they had been secretly opened with a box cutter. Just horrible.
I once bought from a seller a lot of cards, but after a month didn't receive the cards, and the seller was really nice and offered directly a refund, seeing that I was honest... So yeah, really happy that usually sellers online are honest and nice :)
If a single cost more than its booster box, buy the box. If majority of the commons you need are in a box, get a box Any set over 100 bucks, buy the booster packs from Walmart/ target.
Hi team APS i was wondering if you could make a video about link monster because i dont really understand them but i want to learn and how to use i really like yugioh but i dont really know about the new stuff thank you for reading all of this sorry if its long
Theres a summoning guide to link summons on youtube it helped me out when I didnt understand them and now links are the main extra deck mechanic I use as they retain value and card economy so much better than the game could previously
A know a guy who watched your video and took your advice far too seriously!!! He thinks because you're stating your own facts, that he would try to force his opinion on me and manage my money and cards at the same time. He does not realize the effort I put into my cards/deck would cost me to lose more value had I taken his advice, yet I never ask for his help! Instead of buying singles, he wants me to trade my cards from now on. Obviously I refused and he acted like a child over someone else's property. I don't know how someone can get so personal over someone else's investments when it was never theirs to begin with?
As a returning Yugioh player ( back in 2012) I've recently decided to re join the scene ( mainly because of all of your videos @Team APS ) I'm just curious as to what deck I should focus on building first. ideally a deck that can do good at locals, and isn't to over priced) I've always enjoyed a good swarm deck.
Cyber strike and albaz strike both just came out. You can do a 3x deck with a couple staples for maybe $50 total. Cyber strike has infinite impermanance. That's a great card to pick up.
There are some cards that interest me in the new Battles of legends set, like especially Borrelsword (I need it for my rokket deck, and I wish it was more rokket specific, cause it would be waaaaay easier to get), and am very interested in getting some packs, but very afraid that I won't get Borrelsword, and I don't want to buy it single, cause even if it comes out in BLHR, it will be quite expensive... I'm at quite a dilemma here
What if I want to buy the OG yugioh cards from 96 for nostalgic reason I'm not a player but a card collector I assume it's like the pokemon cards I gotta sell a arm and leg for those
I don't have any local stores with tournaments or anything like that or atleast that I know of, but recently I've been buying decks and cards just cause I enjoy collecting them. I haven't played a tonne since 5Ds, a little during zexal but not much and completely missed arcV but I recently made a salamangreat deck from the structure decks + a box of savage strike for that sunlight wolf and would love to make a cyber dragon deck using the new cards. I have one based around the old support using zwei and drei but no Herz or nachster

I hope pot of extravegance gets a reprint as fast as possible, because I don't want to spend so much money for this card and in the same situation I do need it so hard for my Nekroz Deck :D
I bought my first cards since like 2005 today and pulled a first edition infinite impermanence from duel powers. Is this a card i should be rushing to get rid of after hearing about the season change you mentioned?
I hope you did. Cuz they got a reprint in a structure deck. I like to build decks from 3x structure decks. I find that the easiest way to be able to play multiple archetypes.
