OMG I was literally thinking about buying the 120 set just because of this reason and because it has pastels so maybe I'll stick with my 72 set THANK YOU Regina
I had the 48 set of these brush markers as my first alcohol marker set and I fell in love. Now I am exchanging them for Copics while they slowly run out. This trick makes that you don't have to buy big Copic sets at once, if you don't have the money. It also gave me a good idea of what I mostly would use and what not as much. MY LIFE WAS NEVER THE SAME AFTER THAT. I have to be honest... Copic Sketch feel now too soft and mushy sometimes.
Thanks for swatching this out. I've been eyeing this set for SO long and wondering what the distribution of colors was like since I'm really missing some skin colors and greys (even though you don't care for them hehe). Maybe I'll take the plunge soon :) Btw, "petits pois" is pronounced like "petty pwah" - it's french for something like small peas I think.
1:07:02 Hello Lisa, the two lines II are roman numerals meaning “2”. I don’t know exactly why they did it but I guess that the first stock of greys were wrong, and instead of just replacing the color, they made a new “version 2” of that color. That’s the only explanation I can guess. Best regards. 😃
I’ve found that needle nosed pliers are just like colic tweezers, they have teeth to grip onto the nib making it easy to pull out. Just though I would share because it’s something people might already have at home.
Hi Lisa! So glad you got these! The reason for the weird numbering system for the grays I think is because of the “generation” of the marker. CG2 was in the original set with that lettering. Then the new ones seem to have II. I think that stands for Roman numeral II. Meaning second generation? Just my guess. As far as your question about the numbering alignment to the fine/chisel, they use just numbers, not the letters. Kind of annoying. I wish they either used the same numbering system or would have come out with an alignment chart. I’m figuring them out. Some are more obvious than others. I have the set of 200 fine/chisel and the 120 brush/chisel. Sometimes there are some tiny differences in the shade/tone, that it’s hard to tell what it correlates to. Also, there are BG blue grays that are more in the blue range. Then there are the BGII ones. Those are the grays.
For those marker cases with no support, take the cardboard box the markers shipped in & cut sections to fit each side. For those who are on a budget, this can save money!
I LOVE the 200 set AND comes in the same case too! I have had about a month. After I swatched, I sorted the case into color family sections. I could not decide between 120 brush or the set I got.
Same price???! I had to buy the 48 set because the 72 isn't available and the 120 set costs 99.99 €! And l've just seen the 120 set at 84,99€ on Amazon Germany! But if I send back my 48 set from amazon fr then I have to pay the shipping, so it's not interesting! It's very frustrating!!!
I started this video last night and ended up falling asleep! Lets see if I can get through it tonight! 😂 BG 03 is like the first set and BG II 03 is like the second set its usually darker
Also, the greys are CG for Cool Grey, II as in Roman Numerals for #2 and the number. I do not know what the roman numerals are for, but I would think they might be their second try on a grey set or something.
I got an email from Ohuhu about them starting to sell individual markers as well. For the Brush ones and also the other ones..Which is nice so you don't have to buy a whole set when you start to run out of colors.
@@LisasColoringCorner It was just on their website. Let me see if I can find the email and I will forward it to you.. Found it and forwarded it to you..
new to your channel and new subbie...you did this so NEAT..lol...i love coloring and i also have a channel where i showcase my artwork..i hope we an become friends and support each others channel...i have those on my wishlist to order...so hopefully by my birthday in a couple months...will come back to see what you color with these...LOL...stay healthy and great share.
I know colors come across differently on camera, but this set didn't look, to me, to have any *true* basic colors; although a case might be made for Yellow and Orange... What happened to the primary colors? I agree that lots of Gray choices is often nice, but 20 out of 120 is too many! This set could be improved (in my opinion) by cutting back to 8-10 grays (across the gray spectrum), and filling in with a true Red, Green, Blue, and Purple; plus a couple each in: Gem-tone Purples, Browns, and Skin Tones. Fyi, I don't even color more than once a decade, and have never diamond painted, but I'm a subscriber of multiple coloring and/or diamond painting channels (as well as some quilting/sewing, gardening, pottery, etc.) that I watch while I knit, crochet, or cross stitch. This way, I can enjoy the "coming to life" of many creations, across multiple outlets; while I sit and enjoy my own creating process. Alas, I simply cannot maintain all of the arts/crafts that appeal to me, in one lifetime, so I choose which to do personally; and live the others vicariously... via UA-cam content providers, like you. Thank You :) Stay safe and sane.
Loved seeing all the beautiful colors. I’m waiting for the mail to arrive today for my Ohuhu 200 set of chisel/bullet nib markers.
Color swatch: 8:10
When I get a set of markers in a floppy bag, I take an Amazon box and cut 4 sides to fit in the bag. That helps support the markers.
Great idea!

Great idea!
Ooo thankyou! 😄
Ohuhu has a skin tone package. Loved this video.
Ordered these last night along with some greyscale jade summer books. I can't wait
Beautiful alcohol markers I also consider buying them :-) Thanks for this video
I have this set and love it! I agree with your suggestions completely. 💕

I'm tempted to get these, I worked on one of my guitars with a CaliArt set of 40 pens and it came out wonderfully.
Ohuhu does a great job because it's hard to beat Japanese stationery and these look lovely.
Thank you for sharing. I use the copic tweezers and use them .

Thank you for clearing that up. Doubt I’ll remember it but.... lol.

Well isn’t that weird. Thank you.
Lisa’s Coloring Corner Thank YOU for your wonderful videos, I enjoy them a lot 😃❤️
Where did you get your color swatch charts. I have the brush tips to and love them.
I create all my own color charts. Just send me an email and I’ll send you mine if you want.

Do these have a strong smell ?
No stronger than your typical alcohol marker and definitely not as strong as a permanent marker like Sharpie, etc.

I have the 120 normal set (chisel and bullet tip) and am disappointed by the colours. It seems these are a slight improvement

Is it a set of 200 brush markers?
@@LisasColoringCorner no. It was either 200 regular OR 120 brush.....same price

Hey Lisa May I ask where you get your swatch sheet? & I love these streams you do ❤️
Thank you so much. I create all my own color charts. If you’d like any, just send me an email and let me know which one(s) you’d like.
Lisa’s Coloring Corner oh wow thank you so much that’s lovely of you ❤️
I sent you an email ❤️
I hope to get to my emails soon. Thank you for your patience.
These are stunning! Added them to my Wishlist 😂😂 btw you pronounce petits pois as ‘petty pwa’ at least that’s how I do it it anyway 😂😂
"petty pwa" sounds perfect, in my opinion... Which is worth about $.02 (two cents), lol.
Larretta Mullen I’m glad someone agrees lol!
Right, just that it's not '' petty '' as the "e" sounds more like the one in "butter", just shorter 😉
Thanks guys. Now I know. Lol.

Well hi there. And welcome to the channel!! Thank you for subscribing. Yes, these markers are great!
I'd like to see more reds ngl, not too pink reds and some more skin tones than greys and everything would be 👌
You wrote Peacock Blue but I thought I read the cap to say Peacock Green ??
Oooh thanks for the heads up.
I looked you up on Instagram it said no results found
Well that’s weird. Did you look up Lisas_Coloring?
