Your artwork is beautiful! If you are taking requests, I’d love to see more marker artwork tutorials or maybe colored pencil tutorials. Great vid as always ❤
I had a dream she changed her name to “The Extravagant Artist” 😸🎨 I think I’ve been watching to much UA-cam again… in the dream I was talking to her & everything 😅🦋🙈💘🍭
I agree, yes please!!
The giddy excitement over the part of the marker packaging that could be repurposed made me so happy. Thanks so much for today's smiles and laughter, Lindsay! 💖
While I need more markers as much as I need a hole in the head, I enjoy reviews on brands I haven't heard about yet. These sound like a great budget pick.
They are!
I can't even begin to tell you how much I enjoyed your reaction t the packaging making a little travel palette for you!! It warms my heart and soul to see someone getting SO thrilled by the little things just like I do!! I knew there was a reason you have been my favorite Artuber for years running!!
Thank you!
I purchased mine right away when you mentioned them on a previous video while the price was still low. They came really fast from Amazon. I had much the same reaction as you- kid in candy store! Can’t beat the quality for the price especially when you factor in the extras and quality case. Glad I deboxed and swatched mine before I saw this video which saved me a ton in Altoids! The packaging is long gone to the recycle. I too am impressed with the juiciness and blend ability.
I did the same thing lol …I had looked at them several times on Amazon & them as soon as you mentioned them on your other video, I bought them immediately!! And…I also thought the same thing about the plastic packaging lol 😂
Your reviews are my go to reviews! Great details on many aspects of how they are used For a Frugal Crafter, I have spent so much money on products you have recommended over the years (been following you forever.) I love everything I have bought from artist and student quality watercolors, colored pencils, watercolor pencils, inks, crayons, etc! 🤣 Love your honesty! I am also a packaging repurposer and I love making mini palettes! I love to make mini palettes to share with my mixed media friends! I just bought these markers. Thank you so much!!! 💗
Thank you:)
My favorite frugal crafter geeking out over making mini palletes. Love it!
I bought the 120-piece set of Sanjoki Markers in early February, this year. You must have a new version as my markers are square. The case is the same, and the colors appear the same. These were my first set of brush tips, so I was excited to get such a deal. However, I was disappointed when several were dry. I called for an exchange but was offered a refund without returning them. I reluctantly accepted as I did like them. I imagine I wasn't the only one that complained, and I wouldn't see them again.
I'm happy to see your video about them as I figured I got the last off-brand that wouldn't be back. Thanks for showing them!
Im late but yes I dealt with the same problem with mine being dry and it was so disappointing some of them dried out so quickly
@@casstitudy I hope you got a refund as I did.
I am new to alcohol coloring - just got this set. Having fun swatching and creating labels! Thanks so much for your video & tips.
My father in law made me a wood storage/display out of wood for my alcohol markers. It´s one of the best gifts ever!
I also get excited over useful packaging Lindsay. The alcohol inks appear to be really well packaged. I'll have to check this brand out.
I get the very same excitement figuring out new ways to reuse/recycle packaging 😄
Great review, I so don’t need new markers ….. aww I want them! Lol must resist want monster. Both piece you’ve done with these markers look stunning, must get some multi media paper that has a different background colour, love how the lamp is looking. Thank you for doing an honest review with your thoughts.
Thank you for this great review and great tips. Coincidently, I just got these Sanjoki markers the other day and swatched them yesterday. I am so glad that I made a good choice.
Thanks for the review, I've been eyeing these since before the craziness happened. Loved your artwork hopefully will see them in future videos.
I find it so adorable how happy you got when you found another use for the packaging!!!!!! That was so nice and genuine
I love it!
O.k. I'm back 🤭Giggles🤭 Loved this tutorial @ Lindsay Weirich . I wanted to let you know that on the Instructions it says when you 1st open your markers for the 1st time to twist off the cab the cap so that it will not not spray out. I think it's the pressure of when it pops it sucks out some of the paint. I've colored a couple cards with these markers and I did like them. They seem to flow really nice. And picking three colors that would blend together did a really nice blending job. I was impressed with this set and I'm glad that I purchased this set right after your tutorial. I had purchased another set at the same time, but didn't really like them. You are an amazing artist Lindsay, I really enjoy watching you paint, color and draw. Your one of my biggest mentors. Thank You for sharing your amazing artwork with me. Sending Love, Hugs and Blessings to you and your Family and your UA-cam Family ❤ Xoxo Vicki from the State of Utah 🍯🐝
Thanks so much (I need to start reading directions 😆)
LOVE the enthusiasm over the serendipitous tiny palettes!
Bought these for hubby to gift me for Christmas. Now I have to wait! 😱
Great detailed review. My son just graduated HS & is interested in becoming an illustrator & we bought him this set I believe last Xmas to get him going. He has bought Coptic markers as he has needed certain colors but this helps me feel better that my husband & I bought him something useful & not junk.
I ordered these when you first mentioned them. I scanned the swatch chart, then printed it the card stock I am likely to use. I have not used alcohol markers before. I did a small pumpkin in my sketchbook and I created another pumpkin on some heavy inkjet card stock (I purchased this card stock from Red River, which I love, but it was too thick for my printer). I really like the way the markers behaved on the inkjet card stock. At least I won’t be wasting the inkjet card stock. I also put my markers in numerical order. Great value, since I am just starting my marker journey. Also bought some for Christmas gifts for the young girls in my life.☺️. I did have a couple splatter on my paper too, surprised me.
Great review, I purchased these after you mentioned them. Got them and just love them. I do a lot of watercolor and colored pencil art and want to learn to use alcohol markers thanks for the tip. You Rock! ♥️
Im glad you like them!
Your reviews cover so much information about the products, and that is such a help for us! Thanks for another great review Lindsay!
I just bought these 2 days ago. Your review is in perfect timing since I haven't opened them yet
Enjoy!
Thank you for your honest reviews and thorough research. I enjoy your down-to-earth delivery. I appreciate the time you spend swatching and using the products and giving us your "real feel" observations. It helps me save money (frugal) by not having to spend my scant budget blindly on products hoping to discover the right one for me. You also inspire me to explore new crafting and art activities because I feel informed enough to get a good start on enjoying a new experience. Thanks again. Keep it coming!
Thanks!
The sticker swatches are a dandy idea! After the review you did the other day (or weeks ago?) of the markers that came with the stickers I started marking my markers with circles punched out of address labels. But these are even better. And, all the free stuff you get with them including all those free travel palettes: Pretty cool!
You really can't beat it. I hope the price stays low at least until Christmas because this would be such a great gift for young artists and parents budgets.
Always love your honesty. And your excitement over the plastic trays is priceless!!!
Received these as per your suggestion for Christmas! So much fun swatching Excited to start your marker class!
I’m turning 18 and hope to have my first set of professional tube paints be the Mijello mission gold. I have the high chroma set of yarka but I want to get the mission gold tubes so seeing how clever you get with altoids tins has me inspired because I recycle them too! I’m also a huge alcohol marker fan so this kind of stuff all around gets me excited.
Hullo, I read your comment and I made the same decision about mission Gold watercolor paints! I even purchased a set after painting with various samples I ordered. I wish I had heard of DaVinci paints before spending my money on the mijello paints! I did use the Korean paints for many pictures. I am now a convert to DaVinci paints after watching Denise Soden’s videos on her palettes she curated for the company! I have a few brands of paint in my large studio palette but it overwhelmingly filled with DaVinci colors!
I encourage you to watch more videos and I wholeheartedly recommend DaVinci watercolors! I believe that the only drawback to DaVinci paints is international shipping can get high! You can always buy American Journey from Cheap Joes art supply store. My best to you and your art journey!
Happy birthday!
I got mine a few days ago because i wanted to try out a new art supplies and these are AMAZING! The markers are so pretty and i love the range of colors
Hi,
I would really like to buy these markers but some reviews on amazon say that they dry up within a few months and that the pages turn yellow and stain the other pages, is that true, would you recommend them?
@@ashlennejhadedeleon9814 the yellows will stain paper that’s put on top yes but i haven’t had much staining done to the point it shows on the other side. No staining on the paper yet but they do give you a protection sheet to put under working paper so that they don’t fully bleed. Mine have not dried out at all so far.
I got a kick out of how excited you are over the plastic packaging. I think the case is really nice. This seems like a decent set. It's certainly a budget worthy option. I appreciate that the company sent them for your review. You are the artist I would 'listen' to.
I bought these and they are great for the price. Great review. Thank you 😊
You bring me so much joy, Lindsay! As always a delightful video- and oh yes, I bought them!
The SHEER EXCITEMENT of the packaging! And those look like nice markers too.
Great review. Love the packaging excitement. Your artwork is incredible. Love that lantern.
Thank you for that great review, Lindsay! I just ordered a set and am looking forward to using them. 😊💕
I hope you like them!
Just ordered these off of your review! Thank you for such a thorough and thoughtful review for us! 💕
Thanks!
I'm so glad you shared this great value, Lindsey. I LOVE these markers. The only thing I would change is a brush tip instead of point tip, but they are perfect for my needs. Thank you!!
Omg I subscribed because you’re a genius 😂 free gift with purchase! I love it. I’m making a pallet when I buy those markers.
This video was so helpful. Thank you!
A past student to whom I taught Grade 5, 9 and 10 English is now a grown man who works as a massage therapist in a sports therapy clinic and develops his beautiful art work in whatever spare time he has.
He is such beautiful person! He came to our cottage this summer and stayed overnight so we had time for an in-person visit. I find that to be very special for a man who in his thirties with a full life of his own, and I certainly don't take that gift for granted! It was such a privilege to teach him and what a blessing it has been that he chose to develop an adult friendship with me.
He lives in another province, which is about an 18 hour drive or a plane ride away, so knowing I wouldn't likely see him for a while, I asked him some questions the process he followed while creating a recent piece of art. That allowed me further information about his artist tools of choice. I can now send him a surprise package of art supplies!
Your video was a tremendous help, and I'm so grateful! ❤
I'm so glad!
I am looking forward to your marker tutorials! I purchased this set, and I really like them. They are a great addition to my supplies. Thank you for your suggestion.
Yes, I saved the top plastic portions and am making everyone in the family eat Altoids until I have the tins to fill! Great tip. I think they may be good to work with my inks as well since they are a great size for that.
I got this set about a year ago. 3 of my markers were dries out when I received them. I contacted the company and they sent me replacements. I really like the case. If you fold the flap under itself, it forms a triangle which makes the markers tilt at a nice angle while in use.
Good to hear they replaced the markers!
Thanks so much for reviewing these markers.
I need a set of markers for older kids. Im going with the Sanjoki.
Happy Thanksgiving! 💕
Well I just ordered these. I have been thinking about trying markers for awhile. I’m not sure it is going to be my medium. But for this price I can let my 7 and 9 year old granddaughters use them and not feel protective of them lol. Thanks for the great review. Off to see what paper I have or need to buy😂.
Bristol smooth is a good bet. It does come with a pad of marker paper to get you started but i like a thicker card.
I love that you get so excited about being able to make all the Altoids palettes you crafty McGyver 😁 it's refreshing! Wow these are really great for people who don't have Markers, that included angled case and everything is a super value. I'll be recommending your video when people ask
You made good points for me to consider whether the extra cost for the brush tips was worth it for me based on my usage. I appreciate your points.
I love your eagle with the Eagle pencil!
Gorgeous artwork. Wonderful review and tips , thanks Lindsay
I didn’t know Ohuhu had finally updated their brush maker range! That’ll be exciting. These look like they’d be great for someone just starting out, or as you suggested, cheaper for travel. I did notice a lot of similar colors in each color family (but that could be my monitor). I guess it would be nice once markers started to dry out…
Great review, as always. Your art work is just spectacular and so inspiring!
I watched this video a few days ago and it helped me a lot. I have wanted to try alcohol markers but most of the brands that most crafters use are expensive, so your review was timely. I ordered these and received today. I’ve only swatched them so far but just doing that I can see I’m going to love them. 🥰💕
are you getting yellow stains after some time on drawings?
Your drawings are amazing. You convinced me to purchase this brand. I’m excited to get them today.
Glad you like them!
I love each of those alcohol marker sets. I'd love to have some to help make my cards and various other art projects. Love your tutorials, Lindsay!
Really interesting and informative video -- thanks!
I have a full set of Ohuhus and absolutely love them but if I had to start all over again, I think I would go with a cheaper set while I learned all the ins and outs of alcohol markers. So much of what makes a marker "good" anyway are our own little preferences and the sorts of projects we do with the markers. I recently got a set of Copic Ciao's and was really excited because people go on and on about Copic but, to be honest, I find little difference between them and my Ohuhus.
love the joy from your mini palette
Haven't watched yet, but I got these after you mentioned them on a Sat Chat. I'm really liking them. Thank you!
Im so glad!
Very impressed with this set of markers...your artwork is beautiful...especially the eagle....WOW!😃
I love these. I had a couple of dry on arrival markers and they quickly sent replacements. Mine didn’t arrive wrapped so maybe they added the wrapping to help solve the dead on arrival issue. I got mine on sale and the case alone was worth it.
I'm happy to hear the service was good! Maybe yours had been a return.
I am excited to see good markers that are at a reasonable price. Just like you Lindsey, I thought paint pallet before it even came out of your mouth. I use everything as much as possible. I am excited to add these to my supply chain. As many of my other markers of different brands are starting to dry out and to buy refills for a few, would cost more than this entire set. My number one question for markers is can the tips be changed? Do they offer the markers individually? There are other colors you might want to add to the collection.
No, they do not have open stock. Yes you can pull the nibs out and replace them with nibs of the same size (arteza should fit) and you could refill them with inks that match from other brands. You might eventually want a pastel set. Arrtx has nice set of 40 with really pale shades and I'd like a full set of cool greys but it's pretty comprehensive and I didn't need to pull out other markers for these drawings.
@@thefrugalcrafter Did you feel like you had enough colors for different shades of skin in this set?
Thank you so much for showing how to use these.
Lindsay!!! I finally went for it and my 120 set just arrived!!!!! Can we just talk about the fact that Sanjoki uses hotmail still instead of Gmail 😂😂 It gave me a good chuckle when I opened up their pamphlet, love it 😊 Anywho, ahhh! Can't wait to swatch these bad Larry's out and get to coloring 😄🎉🎉 Thank you for all of your incredible recommendations over the years. You're still my number 1 most trusted UA-camr when it comes to products, and all of your tips and tricks have never let me down! Much love and hope you're having a good Sunday! 💞
I can't talk, I still use yahoo 😆
Thanks for the great review … your drawing and colouring are amazing! ❤️🇨🇦
Thank you so much 😀
@@thefrugalcrafter Lindsay I was just looking at these markers on Amazon Canada and they are displaying your artwork on the Amazon site. Just wondered if you knew /authorized … fyi!
@@mmmmlllljohn yes, they asked, thank you:)
I love how excited you were at the prospect of free palette inserts!😂 I'd be the same, lol . Great review as always, and i loved your artworks.
Right?!
You give the best, most thorough reviews. I'm not even interested in markers (have a full set on Tombows), but I still enjoyed your testing and thoughts of these markers.
Thanks!
When I pick up alcohol at the store to clean marker, including Sharpies, off of plastic containers, I make sure I am getting the 91%. The 71% doesn't work at all. I thought that might be useful to know for those of you putting plastic sheets behind the marker page you are working on to prevent bleed through to the next page. Great tip from Lindsay in this video letting us know that the bleed through might stay on that plastic sheet to come back through on the front of the next page you work on unless you clean it off first. Thank you, Lindsay!
7:30 HALLELUJAH moment!
Too fun, so me! It's the little up-cycle ideas that make my day!!!
These look very nice.. I love the repurposing of the packaging. Very clever.
Been looking for another good set of markers. Thank you Lindsey. Just ordered. Great deal.
Enjoy:)
✍️Thank you for this review! Just received my set and love your examples and advice regarding these markers. Can't wait to try them out!
I love that you used the word "serendipitous" it's my favorite haha
I bought these (on your recommendation) and I love them!!! $42 for 120 markers and case!! Also the strap came in the box!! Check for yours.
I found it:)
Today featuring Easily Distracted Lindsay. So clever, such fun.
Lindsay! I always think of ways to use plastic bits & boxes! Makes my husband rill his eyes haha.
😄
I ordered these right after you mentioned them a couple of Sat Chats ago. I swatched them out and kept the number order as you did, but copied the enclosed swatch chart on paper I think I'll be using. Opened each marker carefully and got no splatter, and they seem really nice to work with. The only con I had was a pretty strong petroleum like odor coming from the case. I'm in an apartment so have no "outside" I can air it out, so I've just left the case open for about a week and it's pretty much dissipated. I read a lot of Amazon reviews and only two mentioned a case odor, so it must be a pretty rare occurrence. Thanks for the great tip on these markers! Looking forward to your course on using them.
FYI Only: I have fragrance intolerance, but the markers did not bother me at all! Hurray! I had no smell on the case.
@@JA-ed1tj Glad to hear it! As I said it doesn’t appear to happen often, and the smell is going away so it is not a deal breaker and I’m really glad I got ‘em. Thanks to Lindsey’s great advice.
Maybe you got a really fresh case lol! I didn't notice smell either. Smart to photocopy the chart (wish i thought of it!)
@@thefrugalcrafter My copier only takes 8 1/2 by 11 so I had to trim down a 9 x 12 sheet. My copy isn’t pristine but all the important stuff is there. Thanks again for the great tip.
I'm looking forward to your video about how to pull together colors to blend with alcohol markers! I bought these brush markers, and I have uhuhu pastel brush markers so I'm ready to learn! I have only used bullet tips before now, except for the fairly recent pastel marker purchase.
It's like going from driving a standard to an automatic!
Fantastic review, Lindsay!! Tfs.
Thank you for reviewing these! I went and ordered a set for my granddaughter who is seven. Nice way for her to get started. I figure as she uses up colors; we can replace them with Copics at a reasonable rate. ❤️❤️❤️
Those browns are beautiful, and the case seems really useful. I wish i could squeeze in another marker set.
I have 2 granddaughters birthdays coming up in November. I ordered 3 sets after I first saw you mention them in a video. One for each of them, and one for me. 😊 They arrived pretty quickly (I don't have prime) and in good condition. Thank you for the review. Oh yeah, also....the freebie watercolor pans to put in tins? I'm got just as excited about that as you did. 😆
Yay!
I finally got these took 2 months but wow I'm so happy with this recommendation. I'd hazard to say that they are so very similar to the copic Ciao to me . I'm just learning the medium but these seemed to feel easier to blend to me. Than many others. And yes the ink flow is great too
Hi Lindsay. I had already put this set of markers in in my amazon subscribe and save (a bit cheaper that way) shopping cart, after I heard you mention them in a previous video. I hope they don't go up in price (or go out of stock) before I get them this next month. I'll just have to take that chance.
But I am happy that you did a review in time for me to cancel if it wasn't that great of a set.. But it appears it is! So, I'm going to go for it. The description didn't say anything about the other little goodies that came with yours. Hope they're in mine too.
Thanks so much for the review! 💕
They should be!
What a great set. I love the samples that you made.
I ordered these markers and love them. Will be ordering another set due my granddaughter, her Birthday is at the end of the month. I know she will love them.
Can we purchase Copic replacement nibs and use them in the Sanjoki Markers? You’re amazing. Thank you for all you do!!❤
Not Copic but the ohuhu replacement nibs should fit.
I'm really glad you mentioned the difference between the "brush" nibs. This also goes for Ohuhu markers. They don't have a real brush nib, like Copics do or Shinhans or W&N. They use a bigger bullet nib with a soft tip to pretend it's a brush nib. But it's not a real brush nib. You can clearly see the difference in your test. Copic brush nibs draw much smoother and they act more like a paint brush, going from darker to lighter color in each stoke. The fake brush tips of Sanjoki's and Ohuhu's don't do that. They put the same amount of ink on the paper within each stroke, with no transition from dark to light.
I find it very deceiving and dishonest when youtubers don't mention this (huge) difference when they review Ohuhu's or other cheap brush markers. So thanks for your honesty. You're my #1 go to youtuber when I need reviews of art supplies now. ❤
Thanks, neither are actual brush nibs like the zig teal brush pens. The higher end ones are made of neoprene (often called foam rubber) and the cheaper ones are compressed felt (often referred yo as fiber)
interesting! i had no idea they were actually different, i’d felt the difference between ohuhu and copic but couldn’t tell what it was. do you happen to know what the different types of nibs are called?
Hullo Lindsay, you create the most phenomenal review videos! I do enjoy watching you compare the brands. I purchased Ohuhu for a budget marker, but I gave them to a nephew after I purchased aCopic set and decided that I could find plenty of choices and a much reduced price per marker off of e-Bay! I just kept watch and never paid more than $3.95 a marker. I did get a few duplicates but they are great for a traveling pouch and my studio set is still complete. I have found the Strathmore 400 series a good marker paper pad! I did purchase several brands, even a Copic pad and the 500 Strathmore they are just not worth the extra money to me. I am more likely to buy card stock than invest in a paper for markers. If you do a LOT of marker illustrations to get the longest life from your markers you will be happier with the smooth marker paper! I am also glad that you got so excited about the packaging and re-using it!
It depends on the techniques you like to do and if you need to add Any other media on top as to what paper will be preferred.
I bought my alcohol inks off of wish and they work like these, just a longer wait to get them. They were more accurate than these and came with a basic case no extras. The price on yours is reasonable with all the extras. Thank you for sharing. By the way I love love your art work they are gorgeous. 🥰💖
Good to know!
Thanks for the review Lindsay. I also ordered these when you mentioned them the other day because I wanted a wider color range than what I had. In my shipment though I did not get the label sheets. No big deal at this point just thought I’d mention the difference.
That's odd. Did you get the brochure because it shows how to apply the stickers. If it's not tucked in with the swatch sheet and paper is email them and ask If They can send it. I think mine came straight from Amazon.
@@thefrugalcrafter it does show the labels in the brochure. Of course I didn’t read it until you mentioned it 🤣 I will email and ask. My heart wasn’t broken when I realized the labels weren’t there but having them would be helpful. Thanks Lindsay!
A crafter's mind is never at rest. It's cool because we have no limits and possibilities ARE endless.
Thank you, Lindsay! 👏🏻❤️ I was trying to colour a stamped image the other day with my Arttx and struggled to get them to blend properly. Seeing your test makes me realize why. 🥺 I have been thinking of getting some of my favourite pigments in Copics because I want the option of refills. Is it possible to make my own refills with markers like the Sanjoki?
Yes, you can refill any alcohol marker. I mix alcohol inks and colorless blending solution to make any Color i want. I pull out the chisel nib and use a pipette to drop the ink in.
@@thefrugalcrafter thank you Lindsay. ❤️😘 So I guess when some of my current markers dry up I will become the mad scientist and get out the gloves! 😜
Your beautiful artwork always amazes me, especially the rich color and realism of the lantern! My printer only allows me to use 8 1/2 x 11 inch paper, so I know I would have to cut down any marker paper to print coloring book page downloads. What paper would you recommend for these markers that would allow me to conserve ink, and print color book pages offered for download?
I've printed on Bianyo marker paper and it works well so other should be fine too. Just make sure you print on the right side.
Very informative! Thank you so much!
Haha, that's hilarious, you were more tickles with the package Pallet than you were about the markers! Its funny because its so me!
You're like the kids on Christmas that like the box more than the present, lol
Or any Cat 🐈
😹
@@Diana-wc4jl definitely. My cats love a good box!!!
I really liked your art in the arttx or the artify....I can't remember but really good😂❤🎉
I absolutely LOVE your excitement for the upcycle of the packaging! And the little Diddy was super cute! 😉❤️. But I don't ever buy Altoids 🤣
Yeah- the last time I looked at Altoids ingredients, they had gelatin ( not vegetarian)
I couldn’t resist the price, though you’ll be happy to know I bought them for my artsy cousin! I got her the arrtx alp set last Christmas. (Also based on your recommendation)
I have watched this video about 5 times and loved your artwork, especially the lantern, every time. It seemed to me like several of the reds looked very close in color in this set. Did my computer just not show them accurately? As you flipped through your Arrtx mixed media book, I noticed part of a page near the front that showed part of a large, multi-colored crystal. Do you possibly have a tutorial on how you did it? It really looked lovely. I think you said that you had no trouble mixing for the colors that this set didn't have. Do you have a tutorial on how we would do the marker color mixing? I know, I keep showing up like the proverbial bad penny with all my questions, but I know if anyone knows what I would like to, it would be you. Your knowledge is amazing, and hard won over many hard-working years, I'm sure. And you are so kind and generous in sharing so much with those of us who really want to learn. Thank you!
I have a whole class on ma4kwrs called alcohol marker workshop in my teachable school lindsayweirich.teachable.com and I have this UA-cam video that might help: ua-cam.com/video/BSJL9vz-aPM/v-deo.html
Lindsay, I went to watch your alcohol markers promo about your Alcohol Marker Workshop, and I think it signed me up instead! The price is more than the amount I have to replace the markers I had to return twice already. I am still trying to pick some budget markers with a good amount of greens and browns and some of their gradients for coloring animals, birds, butterflies, flowers, leaves, marine scenes, and with a wide enough variety of colors instead of seeing so many colors in the sets that look like duplicates of each other, before I try to take the workshop. I have looked at the Sanjoki and it doesn't seem to have any darker browns with gradients for animals or true greens and their variants for leaves or bright colors and gradients for flowers. It seems as though greens and blues are being sacrificed to provide a wider range of teals in many sets. Did I sign up for the work shop instead of hitting the promo button? Does it have a payment plan?
@deepowers3117 no you have not signed up. I just checked my teachable dashboard. I should have a payment plan of 3 payments on $30, not sure if I added it tho, I will check when I am on my computer later. I do have lots if free marker content on my blog and youtube the if you don't mind sifting through it. The class is a quicker and more organized way to learn but I'm sure you can figure it out on your own to if you are willing to put in the time and practise.
I would love a tutorial for that beautiful lamp piece you made with these!!!
ps I got these for my Niece about a year ago and she loves them and are stilling for her, granted idk how often she does use them but she does love to color....they were good then too. I almost got myself a set then even though I didn't need them because I have Ohuu and Caliart. I still may grab them for a travel set like you had mentioned!!
Lindsey - You can geek out with the best of them. Woman after my own heart❣️🤭🙏🖖
Beautiful paintings with the markers!
I put my comment in too soon! Wow, the art work you did is terrific! Thanks again.
Thanks!
