Cutting a door jamb for new vinyl plank flooring

Cutting a door jamb or frame for new vinyl plank flooring to be installed over existing Lino. The door jamb is cut using a scrap piece of vinyl plank to the exact thickness with a multi tool and wood blade. The vinyl plank can be slid in easily and looks clean. It’s a great method for diy renovations and building when a jamb saw is not available. It’s a quick and easy way when updating floors.

What’s the blade you used?

Just a standard fine cut wood blade. Just make sure to love it side to side and go slow so it doesn’t burn the wood.
