It's so oddly specific. Why a god? Why a Norse god specifically? Do they stare at meat differently than other gods? Why does Sir Wool look at Charlie as if he wants to eat him?
The fact that it makes sense while at the same time having so many elements in it that don't really make sense is another amazing feat in of itself.

This might be the best voice on uberduck. Sometimes when reading a particularly dense text, I'll use a TTS just because it makes it a bit easier to sort complex shit out when hearing it and reading it simultaneously. It keeps my interest. I used the HAL9000 voice for a while there after the typical TTS' got boring, but I actually really like Charlie's voice for it even more. It's fuckin' weird listening to Charlie give lectures on the origin of hermetic cults in Jerusalem but god damn is it entertaining.

Perhaps in the future people will just have to scan themselves and give vocal samples and then write a script for a video and the AI does it in one try without readjusting anything and the video is ready in one second and it looks like real, stonks I say, but also scary because it takes away the humanness, but if the point of entertainment is to entertain then maybe there's nothing bad with it

The thing about Charlie Moist is that his way of speaking is so clean, clear, concise and sometimes robotic I think it's fairly easy for the AI to replicate it. It's monotone, too, so that's lifting some weight off the AI's shoulder.

if it weren't for the fact that this uses semi-random clips for the actual video, and the ever so slight robot stops/stutters (not sure what to call it?) effects in the voice, I would actually be convinced this was a video he made. Got the right pitch and tone, and this sounds EXACTLY like something he'd say too. It's fucking wild how close this is to the man himself. With some audio tweaks/touch ups, and who knows how long of a deep fake, this could actually pass for Charlie. If you put in the work to tweak this up a bit, it will 100% be in a reaction video from him, hell even in its current condition I could almost see it being covered by him as is
