Parting is such sweet sorrow…
Have been thinking about an air powered one, looking online at the purpose built ones all use a palm nailer platform. Holy Pricey Batman! I can see the need for one.
I'm gonna try this with my $20 massage gun. Thanks for giving me the idea!
Man, if you decide to sell this adaptation i would be happy to buy it
Good post. I use a little air hammer. (Muffler Gun). They have springs to keep the tool in place. They're a bit longer....but work pretty good and you can adjust them via air pressure.
Parting is such sweet sorrow 😁
Shakespeare had to have been a lathe operator!
Best idea I've seen in a long time
I have been really wanting to adapt a chisel to one of these for cleaning slag in tight spaces!
Do you think you could make a collar and bit?
Hell yeah dude. Well done
Absolutely genius idea! Great work man!
You should push development further and sell a conversion kit compatible with off-the-shelf air hammer bits. I *need* a cordless chisel/hammer for breaking spot welds and I don't have access to an air compressor anymore.
I agree! Please do offer a kit.
yup Ill buy if you make a kit
Please make a kit. I don’t have a lathe or the experience. I would prepay you for it.
What an awesome idea. Thanks!
I forgot, or didn't know you have a UA-cam channel til this popped up. I've been following you on IG for a while
Looks heavy. I got a small IR air hammer that would probably do a lot better job you can feather the trigger and it's a short throw. If you've used a short vs a snap on long throw your notice quickly it hits a lot more per minute and it's much lighter. I got that thing used and abused over 30 years ago you can't kill that thing.
Well done great adaptation. Thanks for sharing.
Lame me up a kit, I’m in! Great idea. Now I need one
you should market this manufacture it and sell it make an adaptors for all4 of the cordless palm nailers and make bits for them you would make good money
i already am doing this. I stole his idea. I made enough money to pay off my student debt and traveling in Japan right now on what I made. 😃
link to buy ?
@@isaacv04 sorry I can’t even keep up with the orders I have right now.
@jessihawkins9116 AKA - You made nothing. If you did - you could've contracted the bulk out to third party. 😂
@@jessihawkins9116Troll. You couldn’t make a part if someone gave it to you 90% completed.
That’s very clever, I have this nailer and additional uses for tools are great
I will be the third person to ask for one. Ingenious idea and been thinking and looking for something like this for mending plates on open joyces
This is super cool, well done
Awesome work man.
My 15 year old cheap palm nailer already has that hammer attachment.
Can't wait to try it with my harbor freight!
Lol if a product like this existed. I'd buy it instantly. Would be so nice to use on coilover locking collars that always seem to get seized here in the PNW.
Good idea! Nice work Chris.
Thank you
Great tool build! I agree that hand planishing and shaping is a lot of work. Just for reference most aircraft rivet guns and air chisels are .401" shank. If you chuck a piece of rod (close to the I.D. of your part) in your tail stock, you can use it in the bore of the part to catch the part when use you parting tool. Helps with thin wall parts that like to snag on the parting step too.
Ingenious!
I have no use for a palm nailer until now.
metabo makes a air version of this nail hammer. could u show prints for the adapter to make it a sheet metal shaper? just a thought..thank s
I can only agree 100% with your comments it definitely makes sense thank you
This should have WAY more views
Might help to edit title to spell Milwaukee right
The idea is just brilliant, thanks. I just wonder if its pneumatic version (dewalt makes it) would work better as it is much lighter - obviously you would have to bear with the air hose around but the tool itself I reckon it would be easier to control and use
Make one for a harbor freight palm nailer. There tiny and pack a good punch. With a lightweight air hose attached I think it would be very light. Your genius.
Brilliant!
Thanks
It would be awesome for tightening or replacing boat solid rivets.
Brilliant...👍👍
Please give us the option to buy the kit to convert our own palm nailers! This is genius!
I definitely need one of these to replace the awful air hammer I have to use to close Pittsburgh seams.
Nice idea. I'd imagine that an air chisel could be made to work similarly.
Definitely. It’s a pretty common thing to see people do.
@@FullSteamDesigns as a retired tool & Die/metal fab, welder, etc. This is awesome! Definitely gonna make one of these! Thanks Bro!
I would love buy one
You think this would work with air craft rivets?
Good job fantastique
Maybe I’m dumb, but I can’t find the file on your website. Will you publish a link. Thanks!
Great idea!
Have you done other panel forming to show?
There is no other tool like this, the only cordless brand
Thanks
We need an update on this :)
Yes an update is in order. This looks awesome.
Awsome idea, but the arthritis in my hands hurt just watching lol
i would like one
You could probably build a wooden mount for that and use it like a power hammer
I was wondering if this would work. I currently have a reworked air chisel with a foot pedal for control but I am definitely going to try this. I love the idea of no cord or hose. Thanks for sharing this.
Let me know how it works for you. I’m loving it so far.
Where can I find the STL or Fusion file on your website?
Do you have the STL of the adapter on your website? Tried looking for it on your website and couldn’t find it.
I hate parting, snapped cutting blades way too many times.
Not bad if the part has a hole in it though.
Didn't see the sign file on your website , did you remove it
Do you still have the STL available?
What would it cost to get one made
Far Out!
Wonder if you could use it on bodywork if you had a dolly on the other side.
That’s what I made it for.
I tried this before with skil auto hammer and my arthritis got worst. Sucks getting old.
I'm doing this 💪🏽👍👍👏
They’re on sale for $100 with a batter today at Home Depot
@@FullSteamDesigns thanks bro im watching Tool Boss right now trying to see all the deal 👍👍👍
What a great idea.
Just need somone to make them and sell them on etsey
How much for a metal one for my palm nailer it Milwaukee
Do you have a store that a person like myself does have a machine background, can buy the parts to make this work. This is an awesome idea!!!!!
Sorry I don’t.
Do you sell it ?
If I were a betting man I would payment it good idea if I were still doin body work I'd definitely buy this great idea like I said this is the ticket nice job Definatly a 🏆 great idea
Can you make me one
The lathe scares me. Watch your beard.
Make
Yeah make me one and how much 🧐❓
Maybe I can test the 3d printed ones and see how they hold up. That would be easier to produce
I hate parting!
Why didn't you just use an air hammer just asking not criticizing
For the same reason I use a cordless impact or sander. No hose. I’m not attached to anything.
Where can I load the file you talk about in this video?
It’s an stl. It will work with fusion, cura, or any 3d printing program.
Can you make me one❓🤔
I wish I had time to produce them
@@FullSteamDesigns That’s OK I know what that’s like. No Time 😕
Music unnecessary. Music is subjective. We are here for your skill.
Natural machine sounds are relevant.
Why not modify the bit, rather than the holder?
I hate how bulky Milwaukee made the palm nailer
Ya gotta fit the parts that make it work somewhere 🤷♂️
Bro that think is soo bulky, it really making it harder to use.
Just get the Skil electric hammer, trust me you won't regret it.
That looks a lot longer. Would be hard to get into curved panels. This one works great.
It is actually much better than the skill because your palm is inline with the piston, making it much easier to use.
your video does not even play, it just spins and spins...
Contact your isp 🤷♂️
not my issue, no other video is doing it, and l'm a PC Tech..its my end.
@@thetechman143 try clicking next video. Let that play for a few seconds then go back. Maybe it’s trying to play an ad that won’t load properly or something.
Your other videos and all others l watch are perfect..it was a tip off, scan your video, it may be corrupted, it does happen on here..
@@thetechman143 there’s no way to scan a video that’s been published and has worked fine for everyone else for a year.
Ok. Seriously.
Shut up and take my money 😂
I love this. Nice work man. 🤌
I want to see it cut revits lol
Best idea I've seen in a long time
