not really. the exhaust puts a parasitic load on the engine with takes away that 15hp. it's like putting your hand in something spinning and it slows down but when you let go it speeds up again.
It won’t add power just by bolting it on. You’d need to remap the car to suit the mod. Otherwise the ECU recognises the new addition and adjusts timing n boost to compensate
Love the S58. It’s a shame that active autowerks doesn’t provide any sort of value for the money because they do make nice exhausts. It’s just foolish to pay the price they are asking for a basic 304 stainless tube.

@@in54ne82 that can't be true? If you remove any part of the exhaust cleaning system (visible or not), you are effectively increasing the amount of tailpipe emissions, thus likely to go over the manufacturer specified limit and not pass.

It's hard to hear the difference from my iphone microphone, I guess you'll have to trust me when I say it sounds much better now. The sound difference is most noticeable under load
Barely any difference lol mainly cause new bmws sound like trash compared to e92. Crackles and pops are considered good sound on new m cars lmao. Performance wise they’re beasts but sound just isn’t there compared to good old v8

Turbo cars gain a good amount of horses with less restriction of the exhaust. A tune should give the car a total 60ish whp gain.

Don’t see any holes for o2 sensors, so those are probably just resonators. Older one has cats in the manifold.
