Love this page. Only downside is I feel like every week I'm explaining to my wife why I got new shavers and trimmers when I'm a global privacy manager who cuts hair for my family only (like 4 clients) lol Keep up the great reviews.
Lol I have the same problem. I’m a therapist not a barber. I just love my different shavers and clippers and I’m always trimming or shaving something because I’m hairy and bald.

i just wish everybody else would take a page outta wahls book & give their charging stands a swivel plug in the back of the base so u can maneuver the stand to fit ur perticular layout ...i have a small station so i truly appreciate that option, so thanx wahl ...& thank u reggie for another good video man

thanks for the review, can i use the wahl detailer also to keep my hair on my head on 0.4 mm, instead of the big ass hair clippers, this detailer uses my barber everytime to keep my hair on 0.4 mm, but im doubting to buy it cause its written down as trimmer for more detail/lining etc, not for the whole head. Keep in mind that my hair really never grows long, i always keep it at 0.4

I do agree with you the drag alot! I notice both the clipper and the trimmer snag alot. I'm not sure if it's the way gold blade was filed when they were produced, but the tip of the stationary blade is sharp to the point they scratch. They don't seem to glide on the skin, they are rought. I used 2000 grit sandpaper and filed them down that did the trick.
Did you file the tip edge itself or just the outside part
This is the third comment I read about the issue with the gold blade? I am not sure if I should get the gold blade or the silver one? it seems that the gold blade has issues with being too sharp and could tug skin.
I just bought these and when I use them they tend to get stuck in the hair when I debulk. Why?? They’re brand new and constantly get stuck in bulk

I believe the gold trimmer has a more powerful motor and that explains the thicker body.

Great review as always but no dice, Big Dog. Only Babyliss and Stylecraft/Gamma trimmers allowed here. Wahl hasn't tried to improve their products and for that sickly runtime by itself, I'm done with Wahl. Babyliss for the power and SC/Gamma for the precision.

Cuz its not just gold, there is an upgraded motor and upgrade blades, I do agree wahl needs to step up their game way more

I can't remember where I saw it, but I think it was one of the HEAD GUYS from Wahl, was saying that the cutting blade on the Gold Detailer is also THINNER than its predecessor's.
Did you notice a difference?
