The U.K now have the the fx but have called it the Babyliss supermotor pro skeleton. They have sorted the problem of the battery as it comes with the dock. Am about to order it and will review it on my channel. Great review by the way

You can add a tomb 45 clip on the bottom. Plug and play and no more battery issues. And you can also use the cordless charging mat in between uses if you dont want to buy the clip
How is the longevity on this product? I had a wahl cordless retro, which i loved, but after a few months it just stopped working after minimum personal use. Wouldn't charge and couldn't stay on for more than 10 seconds
Left me weary about cordless wahl products.

I used babybliss fx trimmer before it really hits the hair line and beard line perfectly for me and using the fx trimmer for the skin fade to clear the line after hitting it with the shaver...it really give the satisfaction and it's way cleaner

"Who doesn't want an all gold trimmer?" Me. I'll pick up the Babyliss trimmers if they come out in a color that is less flashy, but that all gold is definitely not my style. I just got the cordless Detailers last week and so far so good. The blade came gapped too aggressive out the box (a first for me) and I had to back them off a hair, but otherwise they seem very nice.

Nice video brother! Can the Babyliss Pro be used when travelling to Europe and the Caribbean? I struggle when I travel to those places; as I used the regular Andis Outliner. Man, let me just say, it's the worst outside of the US, it's extremely noisy. Please help bro! I appreciate you in advance

Some people say that the Babyliss Gold snags from time to time. Does hair texture have anything to do with that?!?
You don't use the Andis Slimline 2? Have you ever? If so where do they stack up to it?
You can get the charging dock from Tomb 45!! Changed the game. Get a nice attachment I could also use on the charging mat. They have an attachable bottom battery pack that you can put on all your trimmers and clippers and then you could just put them down on your mat and a charge.
I have the Wahl detailers and was about to purchase the babyliss. Good thing I saw this video I’ll just stick with my Wahl detailers. I do like the design on the babyliss though. But for $170 I’m good. Lol

I have the fx3 man red trimmers man they hitting hard everyone I use them on they love it. But I do need to invest in one of there im thinking the goldfx thanks for the video im about to order them.

What is the shortest attachment that comes with each one of these trimmers? I like to keep a short 0.4-0.08mm stubble and do lineups with one trimmer.

Jane Doe it was overall using the trimmer like for example balding out, shaping up the line and beard on each haircut.

Either one works but the babyliss will probably be best because of the skeleton design it’ll help get around the ear easier.
Have you tried the Graphite blade for the Gold FX? It's supposed to be deeper like the GTX blade for Andis. If yes, what do you think?
I have it, honestly the biggest thing I notice is how it NEVER gets hot, hell not even warm, love that about it.

One thing I wanna know about the Babyliss Skeleton which I’ve never heard anyone say, is whether the cord stays in the trimmer when you’re using it so you can charge it at the same time, or does the cord fall out when using it at the same time you’re cutting?

It is recommended not use while on Charge, it affects the battery life.

Wait... So the comparison was based off of pros vs cons or were you just sharing extra info at the end when you said that the Babylizz Gold FX was your choice from what appears to be comfort developed over a long period of using them as your go-to?
You could also just buy a power mat from Tomb45 instead of buying two of the gold fx trimmers. The charging mat allows you to charge any and mostly all clippers that are cordless wirelessly. Great invention by the Tomb45 crew.

True but with most LI batteries, constantly charging them ruins the battery.
Loved my Babyliss in the beginning...but they stared get loud about 7 months in. I watch tutorials for this issue and it was supposed resolved by changing out the blade...$47 later and still loud. I continued to use them and after having 11 months...they completely died out...turn on and nothing. I’ve seen other reviews saying about 6-12 months in...they have reliably issues. Quality needs to step up on these, because I did love them in the beginning. Really bummed they didn’t last.

You not paying attention 😂 Babyliss purposely gives you a extra plastic piece for you to change them after a while .in the packaging. & You just gotta maintain them
Babyliss ends up being loud asf compared to detailer. The detailer is just OG asf and it’s old reliable and does the job longer and not like the babyliss lawnmower

My babyliss gold fx trimmers literally snag every single client no matter how I adjust the blade I’m not sure if that’s just me or what but it’s frustrating that they were so hyped and for me and even my other homie they snag so much
It’s most likely the way your are setting them bro. Look up some videos about zero gapping them and see if you do anything wrong.
Mine snag aswell I ended up using some grafite to dull it some and ther smooth like butter now I have two pairs and I didn’t do that on the other blade and that bad boy snags 😑 there both set about the same tho thinking of switching the blade out... but for the price there should be little to no flaws on something so simple.
Take the still blade off and some sandpaper around 600 grit stand the blade up and glide it back and forth to smooth the edge off that should take care of the snagging

Not saying you’re wrong because it’s your experience but this is the first review I’ve heard anyone say the detailers aren’t great for balding.
Comparing them to the babyliss the babyliss give better clean up when balding!
No trimmer is good for balding out with , a wahl balding clipper or 00000 out detachable blade if you have the clipper. Saves on time tremendously and your trimmer from wear and tear especially cordless trimmers

I don't think you would, you get the best results when zero gapped properly.

I just got the 38 Special caliber trimmer and it comes already zero-gap from factory & I can't use it at all cuz it crash the skin of client... I tried to send it back but they wouldn't take it back because it was more than 15 days

The babyliss is louder due to the design, the motor has more opening whereas the wahl li cordless has kinda like a closed casing around the motor, it’s like drumming out in the open versus from inside a house. But I think the Babyliss has more power with a 9500RPM motor

It’s cool but wasn’t really a necessity to me.
I have used both for years and I definitely prefer the wahls as the babyliss plucks hair a a lot especially under beard and even when balding the hair out it just catches and snags on peoples skin because there so sharp it just snags and catches in everyone’s pores it’s anoying me now

No one should have to double up on a product because the company fails to make it superior, with a lower end battery or no docking station. I would simply gap the wahl one till they hit like the BabyBliss.

The blades are sharp. Some clients say the Babyliss Pro fx will uncomfortable on the face and neck area. The blades is thin and scratches the skin. This will happen without them being zero zapped.
