I read that the basketball game and golf cart just happened while they were shooting and they decided to use it. Apparently, some of the fuzzy footage was actually from the camera Tim is carrying in the video, too. This is a cover of a Huey Lewis and the News song from a time when the "$100 car note, $200 rent" were actually expensive. ;-)
The label on the screen for the basketball game -Sports- is the title of the Huey Lewis and the News album this song was on. And yes, Tim's camera was functioning. Some of the video footagewas feom that camera...so they had to 1. Find a camera that still worked 2. Have the equipment to convert video tape to digital. 3. Find the best places to add it to the video.

Every time I see this video I end up with a big smile. Home Free's humor is simply amazing. And how well it is sung by Chance who has the perfect voice for this. What would it be like to work with HF? It can't be anything other than that it's all fun.

You have to realize that in order to make those nomonica notes happen, Adam has to be able to hit them vocally, since of course, he IS the instrument! I would love to hear him sing so much more often!
I heard somewhere that he took some voice lessons because he is less confident in his singing since he doesn’t have the vocal training the other members have. Hopefully, he will sing more in the future, but they need him to hold down the beat for the group, too.
This is one of my faves and I feel like it goes SO unappreciated! Chance is amazing haha, I love when he gets a big feature because his voice is gorgeous, but because of his versatility he’s so often a background part in the group. He seems so quiet and chill but he’s so goofy too 😂

I guess he has to be able to sing those notes in a normal way to be able to produce them in this way? In which case, I would love to hear him take a lead vocal sometime!
To me the funniest thing about this video is that all the characters loathe and despise each other and their work, except possibly Tim, who is probably insane. Rob is brilliant as the sound guy, with an expression on his face that clearly says "F*** you", Adam taking the turn it off, turn it back on again, bang it approach to tech, Austin's ginger moustache bristling with bad temper as his hapless underlings continue to screw up. Chance liked the burgundy suit so much that he wore it to the CMAs, despite the fact that it had clearly been altered to not fit at any point. At least he wasn't wearing the, er, surprising burgundy boots. There is a short somewhere on YT where Chance is lip synching to "Afternoon Delight" from Anchorman with help from Austin and Rob, and a questionable sound effect from Tim.

I like Chance’s solo covers of Olivia Rodrigo’s “Drivers License”, and especially like his folksy guitar and vocal on an older country song “If I Could Only Fly”. The man loves sad songs. And he has the voice for it.
